Trugreen has come out once and ever since my huge lawn has more weeds then before. I called 6 to 7 times to have someone come back out and reapply weed control. Each time they told me someone would be out within the week no one ever showed and finally today I got a text saying someone was going to come which is my regularly scheduled appointment. in my file it clearly states no weed control on Fridays due to landscaping and mowing. Obviously Trugreen doesnt pay attention to details nor do they know how to take care of weeds.Im extremely unhappy with the service!

1 starTHIS IS THE LOCATION WE ARE REVIEWING:TruGreen ********* ****************************************************** I almost never write a negative review but this is a WARNING TO THE PUBLIC. TruGreen has been used in our for THREE SEPARATE OF OUR FAMILIES' HOMES so you cannot say it was a single time or that we didn't give it a chance or that we didn't follow through on their recommendations (by season - summer, spring, fall and obviously not in the winter). We signed up expecting our lawn to be treated well for weeds, etc, we did all their recommendations by season, we paid, we followed up to discuss how it was going with our lawns (paid so much for barely any difference - weeds still grew rampant, grass was ***** and unhealthy with patches). On some occasions, they would "supposedly" have shown up and had not left ANY NOTICE on the door but would CHARGE US ANYWAY and our cameras showed NO ONE that day. We even finally cut off the service after a YEAR of this and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS later. They still CHARGED ** for the "alleged" visit and after multiple calls to TruGreen to explain that we don't want to pay for a service we never got especially after we already canceled - they just kept resending the bills and we'd call call call again and again to be reassured it was "handled" and today we got notice from COLLECTIONS! UGH! ARE YOU SERIOUS, TRUGREEN? I don't have time to make a federal case out of this nor do I want my credit score affected so we paid. What fake BS service are you supposedly doing for people? This is so unethical and we have always paid but of course we complained for a charge after we CANCELED and you "supposedly" came (come and check our cameras and prove us wrong). PLEASE STOP YOUR HORRIBLE SCAM AND PLEASE BOYCOTT TRUGREEN TO SAVE OTHER FAMILIES FROM BEING LIED TO - THEY ARE OVERPROMISING, OVERCHARGING, UNDERDELIVERING AND EVEN SUSPICIOUSLY CHARGING FOR THEIR NON-VISITS.Review fromHezzie M

TruGreen's service is the worst for lawn care. We have had the plan for over two years, and our lawn is the worst in our neighborhood. We have complained, and the only result is technicians and supervisors who make promises never fulfilled, managers who never follow through on phone calls and clearly defective products. We laid new sod last year in the spring, and now after TruGreen treated our lawn multiple times and after multiple calls, we have significant dead and ***** areas in our front and back yards. Supervisors claim to have taken ph samples, but we never heard back as well. They claim they came out to view our lawn and did not treat it, yet we were still charged. The unmitigated gall. They do not provide the service they promise. They are not true or green: false dead ***** dirt is more like it. I want a full refund for ******** Services and ******************* Services last two years.TruGreen

A member of the local management team spoke with **************** today. We are still waiting on the results of the soil sample before we can put a plan together to help his lawn improve. The manager gave **************** his direct contact information to call with any questions. I have used trugreen before however this summer (2022) has been a nightmare. The tech comes over and treats yard and next thing I know 3-4 days later the entire yard is ***** burnt grass. **************** is very nice however I paid for a beautiful lawn. I paid Trugreen in advance in full and I'm still working on my lawn myself. They claim they're going to send a supervisor to look at my lawn however I don't know what they're going to do.TruGreen

I signed up for a year's worth of services and it was the worst service ever. The entire time I have had tons of weeds and they burned my lawn, my lawn has never looked worse. I call they send someone out weeks later, but it never resolves the issues. I signed a contract for a specific number of treatments and agreed to the one time fee and then they had the nerve to charge me for the last service, I saw it on my credit card ****, I called them and they said that they miscalculated the initial fee so they are billing me more, which is ILLEGAL to do when you have a written contract you can't run someone's credit card without approval that's THEFT. They finally after several calls refunded it back to my card. I told them to make sure the services are cancelled and that if anyone from TruGreen steps foot on my property that the police will be called. BEWARE if you are considering hiring them for your lawn service needs.TruGreen

If you are reading this, save yourself time and money and find another lawn service. Im not exaggerating when I say the experience Ive had with TruGreen has been the worst Ive had with a business.They have failed to produce results, and its no surprise as they have failed to complete the services they claim they do- only fertilized 75% of my yard, said they put fertilizer down when they didnt, put granular fertilizer down on 90* sunny days. My lawn is now burnt out.TruGreen needs to wake up to the fact that we live in a new time - one with video doorbells. They cant get away with doing half-jobs or skipping steps anymore. It seems that has been their business model for quite a while, but the proof is piling up.I hope this helps some folks avoid the headache, and best of luck with all of your lawns!TruGreen

1 starI would like to give no stars. They came to my house and treated my yard, even though it was suppose to be a neighbor on the other side of the street and down the road a little. I had just treated our yard for weeds and fertilized, so they sprayed again and killed out parts of my yard along with killed my flowers that were just coming up from seed. They also charged for doing the entire yard and only did the front yard (the back was locked thank goodness). I tried to call to see about fixing my yard and could not ever get anyone to return my phone calls only got through to a national call center. I even have them on camera and the paperwork they left. BEWARE! TruGreen pressured me into buying a annual service to maintain my yard and keep the weeds out. They showed up one time and did not treat the entire yard. When I called them they came back out and serviced my yard. That was the only time that they came without actually calling. Finally when I called I ask to speak to a supervisor and again was told I would receive a call from management no later than the next day. The call never came. I have now ask for a full refund because they never did anything to improve my lawn.TruGreen
