  The young lady ch checking me out was very nice to me she was price checking for me on some items that was out on the 50% rack outside so there wasn't a price on one of the ***** bag so I asked her the price check so she called the manager the manager picked up a bag that was inside the store and called me a $16 price I said that's wrong because it came from the outside where it said it was 50% off the original price and that's not even the same brand the manager argued and argued with me and got very mad because I disrupt disrupted her while she was taking a break feeding her face behind the cash register she was very rude the young lady that was checking me out apologize for the inconvenience and continue to check me out the manager just kept rolling their eyes just like I just irritated her because I called her in a flat out lie. This is the general Dollar general store out on 30th the east side of Enid Oklahoma

  My daughter fell in the store. We have been trying to get ahold of someone for over a month with no response. The workers in the store eintbgivebypi information and there is no manager available in 4 of the stores located here in Columbia Missouri. The stores are kept well either. My daughter hurt herself on a puddle of liquid spill and was told by workers to fill out a form but no one has reached put to her yet...Very disappointed with the business and how the stores are being ran here

  I live across the street from the store in San Bernardino Ca on East Base Line St so I shop there frequently. There was an incident where a black lady who was a potential renter at my husband and my home was caught shoplifting. I came around the aisle and saw her and even reprimanded her because I do not condone that sort of behavior. Well a store employee also saw her and threw her out of the store. But then she said I had to leave as well because she saw me speaking to her. I told this rude uneducated employee that I was not stealing anything and never have. I explained that I hardly knew the lady and wasn't involved and yet she still told me to leave. I was embarrassed, insulted, and appalled that she could do that to me based on an assumption of association. I am disgusted with this employees behavior. I expect an apology.

  My Mother went into the Dollar General location on sunny vale in Dallas TX on 10.02.23 and was unlawfully forced out of the store with no explanation and no reason. Was told she does not need a reason since they want her out to go. After attempts to reach a manager or someone to explain why she was thrown out of the store she frequents every week with her niece after school, she has been given no response. I have filed a formal discrimination complaint against this location as there are many complaints in this particular store as well. You are right to not want people in your stores that are disruptive, that steal or cause any chaos, but this entire area is chaos and my mother is a senior citizen who has a disability and has never been treated this way before. It is unacceptable and I will not let this go. The unprofessionalism, disrespect and all of that at a store such as dollar general is beyond me but very fitting to the type of people this store has hired.

  As a long time customer, I am fed up with being overcharged on so many products. The shelf price tags show one price and when you get to register, a much higher price is rung up!! For instance, recently I purchased an electric can opener. Shelf price tag shows $11.00, price at checkout was $15.00. I don't have my receipt, I bought several items and there were other over charges.
  There is always one cashier and long line of customers, so I do not want to argue or refund the product. Other stores have current shelf prices, why can't Dollar General??

  Dollar General has a coupon where if you spend $25 or more in three separate transactions you get $20 off a purchase of $20.01 or more. Well I spent $25 or more in 3 separate transactions on 3 different days but it didn’t activate the $20 off of $20.01. The coupon expires on September 30 and I have called the corporate office several times and the last time I was told that someone would contact me to fix the issue. I haven’t heard back from anyone yet and there is only 4 days left. I won’t be participating in any more of there spend this in order to get that off coupon deals in the future. Dollar General you’re about to lose a customer.

  For the past several months the air conditioning has been out at the Sebastian, Florida store. The employees told me two other stores in the are have no A/C as well. We are setting record high temperatures and these poor employees suffer in stifling heat all summer! I visited the Sebastian blvd store and walked out! I wont spend my money at a store that has no regard for it’s employees. There was only one elderly lady working at the time. I told her if it were me I would shut the doors, call my supervisor and tell them I quit! Unfortunately this lady needs the money. Get the A/C fixed!

  The manager in Rainier Oregon claimed there was complaints against me from employees at the store and so she banned me from the store. There was no warnings or further explanations. I was just told to not come back or the police would be called. I have no idea what I did to get banned, except that the manager doesn't like me personally and either made it up or convinced employees to lie for her. I've never done anything at the store that would warrant a ban (never stolen anything, brought drugs or weapons inside or caused a scene of any kind). I know that multiple complaints have been brought against her in the company from other employees and yet nothing is done about her. My wife also says that the manager stalked her and my young daughter through the store; staring and watching them as they shopped. She also told me that one of the employees violated her personal space while shopping with my young son. She described it as being able to feel her body heat because she was so close and made her feel super uncomfortable. This manager needs to get removed or demoted. She plays favorites with the people she likes and is very rude and vindictive to people she doesn't. She treats the store like it belongs to her and she can do whatever she wants.
