  Went to the store on Gates Avenue in Ridgewood, NY. Manager is very disrespectful to customers. Had an issue with digital coupon not deducting. When i spoke with manager, he stated he had no idea why coupon did not come off amd there was nothing he could do about it. The.n when i wanted to return the product, he said you have to wait back on line. I told him i waited on the long line when i first checked out. But his attitude was that i had to go back on the long line. AVOID THIS STORE. DISCOUNTS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE AND NASTINESS.

  I was purchasing birthday items for my son’s 16th birthday party. A staff member of the Dollar General located at 810 Killian Station Road Columbia SC 29229 came in the store off duty and stood directly behind me at the cash register. I asked him to back up several times. The off duty employee began yelling at me telling me Covid is over and he does not have to move. He began trying to fight me pressing his body up against mine at the cash register. The manager move me and my items to another register. The off duty employee then began pacing walking in and out of the store pointing a huge GuN at me. When I walked out the store the off duty employee began pointing the gun at me and walking up to me attempting to follow me home at gun point. I was walking and so was he. I do not feel safe.

  They don't care about customers. My husband slipped in their store because they couldn't be bothered to sweep, and the employees didn't care and the manager only wanted to defend her employees.

  Dollar General Store 15339 in Columbia, SC. Worst experience EVER! The store manager is rude, nasty and disrespectful. She threatened to call the police on me for no reason. She yelled, screamed and hung up in my face on the phone because she was wrong. She didnt want to be bothered on her day off. What happened to satisfying the customer

  Be very Careful shipping at this store the price on the shelf is NOT what you will be charged for.
  Shampoo $6.00 shelf price / register price $7.25 the manager would NOT change it to lower price. I explained what you show as price you have to charge that price. She stated no not since we have been remodeling. I told her that has nothing to do with this. She refused!
  they always have 5 to 6 isles blocked with there load in big metal racks. you can NOT use those isles.
  Beware of over charge!! and Blocked isles God forbid if there was a fire. They have only one person working the register and loading shelfs! That is wrong in so many ways!! The Dollar General is a rip off! Stay away from this one store.

  I like your store Dollar general but the old old general man that's a manager is not a good manager I won't be back in there he walks around and acts like you're a nuisance because I have two children grandkids and one's autistic and they're loud and he acts like he don't want you in the store and he's very rude I won't be back in there Dollar general off Cherokee avenue in Cullman Alabama.

  I’m SO tired of people working in a people serving industry when they obviously don’t even LIKE people. I have started driving 15 miles out of my way to go
  To another dollar general simply to
  Avoid the nasty bad attitude of one person who works the day shift at Dollar General in Brownsboro, TX.
  I don’t care WHAT you do or say this particular woman is a *****!! You can’t sweet talk her, compliment her or the store, NOTHING you do will even illicit a smile!! Forget courtesy, ‘have a nice day’ or ‘come back soon’!!! Don’t you dare ask a question either. She’ll try to insinuate you’re the dumbest person on the planet & be sure you know you’ve inconvenienced her!!
  It’s the closest $gen to me but I absolutely will not go in there unless I have no choice!!
  There are a lot of people who would like to work there & learn their attitudes at home. Surely you can find someone else..??!!

  Visited Dollar General store in Lisbon, Iowa on 4/24/2023 at about 7:00pm. Item marked $2.50. Got to register, had to wait 3-5 minutes before anyone bothered to come to check me out. Then cash register rang up item as $2.65. When I told cashier it was marked $2.50, he and another cashier or maybe a supervisor said shelf says $2.65, so that's price. They refused to honor price on the item and didn't care about customerat all, was pretty rude.. I get that $0.15 isn't much, but it's the principle of it. I understand that prices on items must be honored unless tampered with. Dollar General doesn't do that, so watch your prices if you choose to shop there.

  Dollar General has an employee name Lisa at store #14435 In Amarillo Tx . That takes money from customers. I’ve called corporate and the DM has responded and I have been trespassed out of that 1 store after purchasing an item and paying Lisa called the police to my house . Why ? Because I threw it out to manager Jenn. Who said she admitted to taking customers money while working. Now who had to pay the price ? Me I’m kicked out of a store I’ve shopped since day 1 it opened. Worse part they must all be scammers or they would fire the lady who is assistant manager and stop covering for her stealing peoples money . DG has not returned my calls or even gave me a reason to be trespassed . I’ve got 3 case numbers , NO phone calls.
