    On 8/15 I signed a contract with this company to transport my vehicle for my move from Houston, TX to Charlotte, NC. My car was scheduled to be picked up on 8/17. The day before my vehicle was scheduled to be picked up the agent James called and said he could no longer honor our contracted price ($400) and I would have to pay nearly double the contacted price ($750). I refused and held them to the contract. They called again saying they found a lower price if $550. I again refused and enforced the contract. Two days after my car was delivered (8/21), I was called by the company they dispatched the job to saying I still owed money and they have a contract to prove it. They emailed the documents over. JAMES CREATED A NEW CONTRACT FOR THE PRICE I REFUSED AFTER MY CAR WAS ALREADY DELIVERED AND FORGED MY SIGNATURE ELECTRONICALLY. When the manager Austin finally called me back he defended the agents actions and saying he had no other choice.

    Had a contract to move vehicle. For $700 They did not come with heavy enough equipment and driver rejected the load although I gave thorough description and sent pictures.
    Company claimed to have 4 pieces of equipment all the same.
    I found another company to haul load. While in transit with Capstone US Star assumed responsibility for load and sent me invoice for what I was paying capstone $1500.
    Then sent me a contract for $2200 and say if I don't pay they will not deliver my vehicle. This is very short version. I have hundreds of text msg, e mails and I'm sure recorded voice conversations on their end.
    If this is normal business then I apologize for wasting your time. If this sounds wrong to you please contact me so we can protect others and teach them a lesson in fair trade

    This company contacted me offering to transport my 96 blazer from MS to TX. They attempted to over charge me from the original quote and failed for over a week to find me a driver, failed to keep me updated, failed to adhere to the terms they agreed to, and then to make matters worse.... after I told them to cancel the job, they continued to bid up the other companies that I was trying to get service from.

    This is a week long story so I will simply post the entire conversation

    Be careful to all customers I just scam from Usstartruckingllc,
    On August 11-2023 I sign contract for $950 to picking up my car on August 15-2023.

    I’m waiting to noon no one comes pick up my car until 1:08 Fred call me said the drive come later 3 hours (4-5pm 8/15/2023) from now and price rise too $1,200.00. I told him I haven’t no $ rights now give 30 mins to call my friend to lending some money but just 20 mins Fred called me back said driver ok for me own money 4-5days when I get the car so I have time to call my friends money. I said OK and thank you. Fred send me new contract to sign I just about open to read and Fred call again I told him why $1250 , just 20 minutes ago $1200 after send email new contract $1250???????
    I very ??, I ask Fred why he liar to me , he said he not liar.

    We had the car delivered late and when it arrived, there was a crack on the windshield that was not there before.

    I will send the contract with the company and pictures showing the damages.

    Hello dear BBB, we contacted and reached out to the carrier and get their Certificate of Insurance which is a cargo insurance, I am attaching it to this claim, so customer must contact to the number listed in the Insurance package, it should be done within 15 days after the delivery, as we are middlemen, we hire carriers and they or their insurance will cover the damage, they have a valid insurance and they have valid authority to operate, I am attaching the contract please read the section 2 for more instruction , we will email the insurance package to the customer as well thank you

    I did a search on Google to have my vehicle shipped from CT to ATL. US Star Trucking LLC, gave me a quote 500$ with a reservation fee of 150$. I made the payment then was demanded that I pay 10004 to have my vehicle shipped for a higher price and a different date then what was agreed to. I then asked for my refund because nothing that was agreed to was able to be upheld. I was then told by the manager that I would be charged a 200$ cancelation fee for something that was not wrong on my end. I was told that I would have my refund back by today at 8am. I've been trying to reach out to them but I have not been able to get in touch with anyone. I want my 150$ back for services not rendered.

    This company is practicing a bait and switch tactic.
    They promise a price, contract with you and ask for a deposit. It all looks official and then they call later with a cock and bull story and raise the price.
    I want the public to be made aware of this and most car delivery services do this.

We have got this order and made an agreement with the customer but after setting up the pick up date the price has changed and all drivers requested more than we agreed upon with client . However we reduced our broker fee and worked for free for costomer to deliver his car safely and it is already on a trailer.

    They stated they waived their fee, how do i know or prove that.  At 400.00 which was not the original price I am curious what the final price would be with their fee? (rhetorical question)  My point is they are scam artists using bait and switch tactics and should be shut down.  And it goes for most of the industry providing this service.  Some, very few, who I wished I ran into first, do explain the difficulty getting a driver to deliver at a certain cost.  What recourse does a consumer have against this predatory business, that is why I informed the BBB and want them to do something.  I do not want anything from them.

    I signed a contract on 05/18 with US Star Trucking that said my total would be $500 to ship my car from Las Vegas, NV to Fort Worth, TX on 07/19. I paid my $200 deposit and never heard from anyone again. Daisy was my agent. I called the morning of 07/19 to verify a time window for pickup of my vehicle, I was told 4:30pm. No one showed up or called me to inform me that they wouldn't be arriving. I called this morning 07/20 and was told after several phone calls that the driver is having truck issues and is working on fixing it and they will find me a new driver. After 5 hours a man calls me and tells me they will pickup tomorrow morning and it's now $1000. I said no I will not pay $1000 because my signed contract states $500 is the total and their website advertises that there are no hidden fees. The man proceeded to tell me that the market has changed and the drivers won't take the vehicle for less and that he actually got me a discount. I reiterated that I will not be paying $1000 and to refund me my deposit because I did not sign for $1000, I signed for $500. If the price point was flexible that should've been stated before I signed the contract. This employee was extremely rude and unprofessional and proceeded to yell at me and tell me I don't understand because it is summer and everyone is moving. I said I do understand but when I signed my contract in May, they should've informed me that the price could change. Not once did this company contact me after I paid my deposit to give me any kind of information about transport until I called them the day of my scheduled pickup. I asked them to refund my $200 deposit and they said I am not allowed to touch my vehicle while they work on finding a driver for 7 days. Not anywhere in my contract or on their website does it state this. It doesn't even have a pickup window on the contract. Just estimated date which is why I called on 07/19 the day of scheduled pickup. My car was not picked up or transported.

    This company is a BAIT & SWITCH operation. Used their company to schedule transport of a car. Communication was horrendous. They broke multiple promised after taking credit card information from us. After doing my own research i realized quickly that I had fallen for a scam. They are flooded their google with positive reviews to trump the bad. But the bad are there and there are many of them. Was able to cancel but conveniently my credit card was hacked shortly after. Its sickening to think that they took revenge because of my dissatisfaction. I'm hoping it is not true but a coincidence.......This company needs to get shut down before they affect more people.

    We have a signed contract with this customer for the total price of $450, our agent found the driver for a little more price than agreed, he offered it to the customer, but the customers did want it and we was going to continue looking for new driver, but customer cancelled the order.     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 20332063, I do not need a resolution.  This business has a history of scamming people.  Look at the Google reviews to see it.  Guarantee that they are flooding them with fake 5stars to try & hide legit bad experiences.   Contract for one price then up-charging for more money is horrendous.  Conveniently our credit card was hacked a few hours after we canceled. I was then harassed by the person via text message.  I have been made aware that they have been reported to DoT as well.  Just want people to see what they are getting themselves into.

    US Star agreed to pick up our car in Wisconsin and ship it to Texas for $500. See attached contract. They then failed to show up on the scheduled day for pickup. They then called us a day later and demanded $1000 to ship our car, so double the agreed upon price. Because of their dishonesty, we did not have our vehicle in Texas and were forced to rent a car while waiting for a different company to ship our car. The rental car cost us $550, and the new shipper cost us $900. So our damages are $950 because we paid $1450 for what US Star said they'd do for $500. We are not seeking reimbursement for the rental car $550, even though we shouldn't have needed to rent a car. We are seeking the $400 extra that we paid for shipping. Thank you!

    Sorry for the inconvenience that our agent made, the agent was working on this order since 4th of April, we are trying to hire a carrier to ship the car for the customer, but there is no any available drivers which is passing this route to haul the car, we will let the customer know about pick up as soon as we find an available carrier to pick up this car, but if the customer do not want to work with u, we can just cancel the order, the customer just need to let us know about it, I notified our the agent and explained what to do, the agent will call to the customer soon. The customer has not paid us any reservation fee yet, he just attached the credit card info on the contract, we will not charge the deposit until we get a confirmation from the customer.
