I contracted them to get my blue 2011 Chevy malibu from copart in Columbus Ohio to bring it to mansfield Ohio they found a driver he delivered my car an took off with title to my car an they tell me to call him an text him in which I did but he will not answer at all an they will not answer at all either so I’m stuck with a car with no title an I feel I should be reimbursed my 200 dollars due to the fact I’m sitting here with a car I can’t drive or get fixed because I don’t have the title to it I’ve called an text the driver an the contractor an neither one will call me or text me or get back to me at allBusiness Response

Hello dear BBB,
Our job is to hire a carrier company to transport a car to customers, we are the middle-man between the customer and a carrier company which is the broker company. That's why the customer has to deal with about this problem directly with the driver, and there will be no refund for this customer from our company since we do not refund after we have got the job done for the customer which means our service ends when we hire a carrier. I am rejecting this response because:Now in this response you just straight up lied now last time you said you never knew about a title or anything at all but now your saying you talked to the driver about it so this shows that you lie to get yourself out of things if you contract a person to do something an they don’t do it it fall back to the person who contracted the job all I’m asking for is my title or the money I’m out for the lost of my car because I didn’t ever get the title an you said you talked to the driver if this is the case then car the driver you contracted an have him next day fedex my title to me it’s that simple to do an then we will be done you get the confirmation number an tracking number an send it to me an when I receive the title I’ll drop this case it’s that simple

I hired us star trucking to ship my car from Phoenix to Arizona an agent had been on and off the phone with me texting literally taking up 40% of my time telling me the full charge is 700 once he knew he had me he calls and tells me oh it's the high season and the driver is asking for 300 extra dollars and to cancel you'd have to pay $200 in addition to the $100 or else my car would remain hostage at the dealer's location
Since I called them over 18 times twice of which a girl answers and transfers me to a voicemail when I clearly asked her to have a manager call me
These people do not deserve to operate business in the United States

Firstly, sorry for the inconvenience that our agent made, we are just a broker company which is the middle-man between the customer and a carrier company. We gave a price to the customers with the help of sample prices given by Central Dispatch, all of the other broker companies works like that also, we have given a total price of $700 to the customer to ship this car, but there was no driver who wanted ship ship this car for that price, but we found a carrier for $100 more and offered it to the customer and the customer agreed with it and signed a contract for the total price of $800, and we hired a carrier to ship a car, but then the customer cancelled the order, according to the contract, there is no refund if the customer cancels the order after order has been placed, I am attaching the contract and the dispatch sheet with the carrier company below, please help us to solve this case in our favor, thank you!Sincerely,

Hello dear BBB, the car was delivered more than 2 weeks ago and today the customer is saying he has an electric issues with the car, it can not be like that, the car may get scratch from the outside or might be damaged, but nothing happens with the inside of the car like electric issues during the shipping, and the customer has signed the BOL (Bill of Lading) when the car dropped off, signing the BOL means customer received the car with no issues, even if there is a damage with the car, customer has to contact to the insurance company of the carrier company, we provided everything we have abobut the carrier company to the customer, I am also attaching th contract below, thank you!

the representative of the company us star Trucking llc named *******. I sent a quote, accept. Later I sent the contract by email, I checked it, the total price of the contract was $350 dollars, I signed it and sent it. the next day would be the shipping day, he called me to tell me that the price changed to $850 dollars in less than 24 hours. which seems somewhat absurd to me, I told him that this was not the service he sold me, he only excused himself by saying that prices change every day. and that if he wanted to cancel the contract he would have to pay a fine of $250 dollars. now no trucking company can sell me their service because us star trucking llc blocked me in their system. I don't think that in less than 24 hours the price of transportation will change from $350 to $850. I am in the military nd have orders to PCS to Germany. I negotiated a price with US Star Trucking LLC (Nick) for $1150.00. I spoke to him a few days before my vehicle was scheduled to be pick up and was told everything is good to go. I called the day before pick up which was 11 October, to see what time the pick up will be. I was informed that they dont have a driver for my vehicle and that he will call me back. I found that very strange because a week earlier another trucking company text me asking for my business, which I told them I was going with US Star. The guy then told me good luck that US Star dont have a driver for me. Now US Star () is telling me he found a driver but will only do it for $1600.00. No way was I going to pay that when I had an agreement already. I end up driver my car to Louisiana myself, I think its messed up that is scamming military personnel by promising one price but then the day of pick up raising the price. Thankfully I was to find a way to get my car to the destination, but some military personnel would be left in bond and force to pay or leave their car. The reason why I know this is because this is exactly what happened with my co-worker. Company agree to this price and day of pick up increase the price, force the Soldier in a what other choice I have position and scam them.Business Response

What is the purpose of a contract/agreement?
Why didn't the company say that hey the price could change before signing a contract ? Initially they wanted $1600.00 and went down to $1250.00 then with the military discount it was $1150.00 and that was what I agreed to and not once did US star () say that prices could change.
Why would you wait the day before pick up to inform me the price change, by doing so cause me a delay in my out process to clear my unit. That cost me three days of driving from Joint Base-to Louisiana.
Also, it was another company that contacted me letting me know US Star didn't have a driver for me. How did another company even know I was dealing with US Star()?
US star need to look into some of their employees shady dealings a simple sorry for the inconvenience is not the solution.

I contracted with this company to ship a vehicle from Sacramento to Seattle. They gave me a price of $550 and told me their driver would arrive the next day with 2 days needed for transport after I gave them a $103.50 depsoit. I got a phone call the next day saying that they couldn't find a driver and the new driver wanted $750. I negotiated the new price to be $700 instead of $750. They stated the driver would be there the next say and the next day I received a call that this new driver's truck was impounded and the police took the truck. I called back to the trucking company to cancel my order and I left a one star review on Google Reviews explaining this experience. They would not refund my deposit to them for $103.50 until I promised to remove the 1 star Google review. I have not received a refund yet and I have filed a complaint with my credit card company that this company did not deliver goods promised and refuses to refund my deposit back. I received an e-mail stating that the money had been refunded, but as of this writing the deposit of $103.50 has yet to be returned. The company claims they have refunded the deposit, yet it's been 7 days and there has been no refund onto my account. I have received a conditional refund from my credit card company. As I've said before, this company attempts to scam clients by taking their deposit then each day after they "can't find a driver" or "the driver's truck is broken or impounded" and then they ask for more money and invalidate your signed contract. I contracted this company through shipply.com to transport my husbands motorcycle from Detroit to Oklahoma. They assured us they would pick it up within a few days. I gave them a $200 deposit and the balance of $600 was to be paid at delivery. Each day passed they would give us a time frame for when they would be out for pick up and each day no one would show up. After severa weeks and costing us even more money we called and asked for our deposit back and we no longer wanted their services. They proceeded yo tell us that they did pick up the bike and it was delivered even though the bike is still sitting in my garage. I explained this to them and they insisted it was picked up and wouldn't listen to what we were trying to tell them. The bike was never picked up or delivered to Oklahoma!!! They had no signatures indicating it was picked up or delivered and no balance paid. They just refuse to refund our deposit insisting they picked up the bike. On September 8, 2022, I (******* *****) signed a contract to ship my personal vehicle across the country for $1250. To secure this reservation, I was told that I would have to sign a contract and transfer $250 via Zelle to "******* *********". On September 12, 2022, a representative called and informed me that the price for the service had increased significantly to a total of $2,000, which is far beyond what was included in the contract. I did not sign a contract for this new price. My wife and I decided that we could not pay the increased amount and requested a refund of the $250 deposit on multiple occasions from US Star Trucking.
