      Not sure how this company has an A+rating. Absolutely unacceptable. They installed a system recently at my mother's house and they are to be the company for repairs to their system. Please, what a joke. My brother set up an appointment for them to come last Thursday between 10am-2pm. They call and cancel middway through that scheduled window of time. Then reschedule for today. Once again, my brother had to take time off work to be there...and shocker, they cancelled yet again. Now they have pushed the appointment to Friday. So unreliable. Do not go with this company to install a system because it's a hot mess for them to actually back their work when they need to do repairs. We have my 93 year old grandmother, who is very ill, in this house where the ** is still not fixed due to ** ***** and their lack of professionalism.

      Please find a different company if you don't want constant repairs and replacements! The past 2 years since ARS replaced ours have been a nightmare.After paying $8k to replace the old HVAC for a single-level home, the system stopped working over six times within the first year. Nearly every time was in the heat of the summer, with the company being unable to come out for over 24h once and the heat reaching nearly 90 degrees overnight in the house. Now, less than 2 years later, the thermostat has stopped working. $109 fee to be told it's broken (we know... that's why we called) and $300 to replace a thermostat that's under warranty. We spoke with management about all these issues, just to be told they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. Keep in mind we had a 20-year-old HVAC and 40-year-old furnace before ARS that didn't give us ANY issues until they were too old to keep going. We 100% regret going with ARS, and have stopped using them for all repairs and tuneups.

      Had a hvac system installed in my house on Monday and was asking for a invoice for the charges of the as unit and labor etc etc. was told by the salesman that have never gave one to a customer! He didn't know how to get it. I feel like I was taken advantage of in a time of need and way over charged !!! I have called everyday to office and salesman and nothing! I have now called corporate and it just give you a voicemail. I have used Ars for many years now and after this experience I will never use them again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.!!!!

      Tried to schedule service twice. First time, no show. Second time no show. No call from them to reschedule or to notify of cancellation. When you call for service, you talk to a scheduling service, not an employee. No number locally provided. Second time I called, the gal at the service thought it was funny that there was a no show. Avoid these folks.

      This company ***** for customer service. We had a unit put in, was not put in properly, so part of the unit is detached, had a Technician, come out, had to pay a $109 just for him to tell us that it had to be repaired. Wanted to speak to a supervisor seeing as how their work from the beginning was not installed. Properly. He claimed he couldn't get a supervisor on the phone. But that he would make notes. My husband then spoke with someone they said they would send a tech out to fix it only for the tech to come. And say it will cost us 500 and some odd dollars. *** wanted us to pay another service fee of a $109 , Again we wanted to speak with a supervisor. You can only talk to the call center, who says they will have a supervisor call u. And that never happens, this is ridiculous. Asked the tech to call his supervisor while he was at our home to cl so that we could speak to him was told by the tech that the supervisor was unable to speak with us. But he talked to the tech! A company of this size should have a supervisor that you can speak to to resolve issues. Never again! I will let everyone I know definitely not to use FLORIDA HOME HEATING AND AC/ ARC

      This is long, but worth the read-especially if youre about to call ARS. They are liars and scam their ****************************** installed our Carrier mini split system just four years ago. Since then, its been nothing but scare tactics, inflated quotes, and constant misdiagnoses. Every few months, the system would throw errors. First it was the control board, then the compressor, then they told us wed be better off replacing the entire system they installed new 4 years ******* time they said it was a burned-up wire and quoted a full replacement then the system magically worked two days later for 5 more months. Guess the wire healed itself?Finally fed up, we called a licensed third-party ************* They replaced both control boards (OEM), which fixed the communication issue, and confirmed the compressor was bad- and under warranty. We told them company we just want to have ARS come out and get a price and see whats what.They got the compressor diagnosis right but then tried to charge us for a brand-new inverter board that had been replaced HOURS earlier.Their quote was $2,289, discounted to $1,831.We ended up paying the other company $1,700 TOTAL boards, compressor, labor, and actual honesty.I wouldnt even be surprised if ARS sold us junk parts to begin with. That much failure in 4 years? Not normal.This isnt just bad service. Its price padding and pressure sales pretending to be repair work.Our AC is now working perfectly. We hired them other company and they came back out and installed the compressor.Get a second opinion. Get your receipts. And keep ARS far away from your system.

      I had my hvac unit put in just over a year ago. It had a ***** leak after the first attempt at install and now has totally stopped working shortly after the warranty expired. Don't spend your money here. They'll do an unprofessional job that will leave you with an hvac unit that will fail to run reliably for a very long time.

      I spent 15k on a new furnance and a/c unit. Three years later, the a/c stops working.I called for an appointmemt - had the wrong number.Ok, we reschedule, they call and say, too busy we pushed your appoinment next day.We reschedule again, they call and say they are too busy again!Schedule for a 3rd time, two weeks out, and the guy shows up without a ladder.I call his supervisor, *****, and no answer. I've spent 15k and it's been 1 month.. no service.I was told to put an umbrella on the a/c unit. I also bet, if it wasn't under warranty they'd come quick and proper -- like the first time.Horrible, *****

      My dad needed an a/c , I went to ********** to purchase a window unit. $500. Or less, I was stopped in the store by a Florida home ac. Sales person. He assured me that I wouldnt have the problem I was having with the ac I have, I financed $10,000. To have the exact same issue, that they refuse to fix. And I havent been able to use this a/c at all because it leeks in attic and has ruined my ceiling in two different rooms. My attic is cracked at the entrance and Ive been waiting nearly 3 years for them call me to fix the issue and they refuse to repair my ceiling.
