      We have used ARS for years with really no problems. Until lately. Our upstairs air conditioner went out on a Monday in June during one of the hottest weeks we had here. My husband called ARS but they couldn't get here until Thursday. Not good. I called several other companies to get someoen out here quicker. Found a company, they came out, found a leak in our unit and suggested we called the company back that installed it as it was still under warranty. I did that and when ARS finally came, I showed the guy the pictures and report from the other technician as to the problem. He looked at it, scratched his head, and said he didn't see anything. The other technician said we needed a new elevator coil and pan, and a s**** was put in wrong and punctured the pan causing a leak. After insisiting they replace the parts, the guy left without having me sign anything. We have to go up in the attic daily to vaccuun the water that is in the pan so the unit does not shut off until they fix it. When I called themtoday to find out the status of the part, no one could help me. They are scheduled to come out tomorrow 7/2, but makes no sense if they don't have the part. As soon as this is fixed, we will no longer be using them. Poor customer service, they cancel appointments on us. Don't trust them.

      A/C unit went out, ****** Statewide came out within 4 days of calling. Employee came out, stated the furnace and a/c unit needed to be replaced. Furnace is 12 years old and has been working fine. I refused replacement. Employee then asked, "Do you make your own decisions?" I am a home owner and a physician (however I am a woman), so YES I am capable of making my own decisions. Employee stated, "well I can fix your A/C unit but I cannot guarantee it will run once I leave this house". Employee (Zeek) emailed me the bill. Charge for fixing A/C was $557 and he added $240 for a service plan. Employee never mentioned service plan, asked if I wanted one or told me about a service plan option. I called company 3 times and finally spoke to woman who credited back $240. This left me believing this company charges people for items not spoken about, in hopes they don't notice and pay their bill. I have told everyone I come in contact with to never use ****** Statewide for service.

      Had a frustrating experience with a **********-approved contractor. ******, the project manager, gave me two vague verbal quotes between $21K$23K, wildly above market rates. From the start, it was high-pressure sales with no written estimate, just a slick iPad presentation and zero real details.When I asked for something in writing, he seemed to diverge and only focus on his iPad presentation and annoyed that I asked for something in writing.The next day, when he called to followed-up and after I mentioned that I had received a more reasonable quote from competing company, the conversation took a sharp turn, ****** became pushy, defensive, and borderline hostile. *********.

      Called 5 times in the last 2 weeks to make my full payment. They "Will fix it" have never called me back. Will continue to call and i was ready to pay the day the job was done. Billing is bad here, *************.

      We had an appointment for June 26th between 2 and 6! NO ONE came and we did not even get a call to inform us of that! This is completely unacceptable!!!We have a young child in the house and we have been sitting here in 100 degrees heat with no A/C!!!!! This is a health hazard!!!!I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told someone would call me ASAP. Have not heard back at all!!!If I could give zero starts, I would!

      There are a million HVAC companies. Use someone else. They cancelled on my HVAC repair FOUR (4) times. Offered a big discount for me to keep the appointment and then cancelled again. Completely unprofessional and unreliable.

      Cannot get service on a split system installed 7 months ago.6/21/2025 Saturday I have purchased two split systems from *******/ARS over the past 3 years. The one installed in December 2024 started generating water down the inside wall of my sunroom on Saturday, 6/21. I called your scheduling team and was provided a quick appointment slot on Sunday, 6/22.6/22/2025 Sunday No one showed up during the service window nor was I call called on Sunday 6/22. I followed up with a call at 12:30 pm and was told the ticket was escalated to dispatch and someone would call me back with an ETA. I got no call. I called back around 2pm to make sure I was still scheduled. The operated confirmed that I was and again said the ticket was escalated to dispatch and I would get a call. I received no service and no call.6/23/2025 Monday The same thing happened on Monday only the operator rescheduled for that afternoon. After no technician showed I followed up again. I first asked to speak with a manager and was told the managers were in a meeting. I then was assured someone would call. I did not receive any calls. I called the service number and was given an 8-12 window for Tuesday.6/24/2025 Tuesday No one showed up or called me on Tuesday. I called after the service window, once again assured the ticket was escalated and a manager would call me within the hour. No service was given and no call from a manager was received.6/25 Wednesday I called again this morning and received an afternoon window, 12 - 4pm. I checked the BBB and your company has a note to email to the address above before logging a complaint. THIS IS THAT EMAIL.UPDATE: The appointment window today (6/25) was missed and no communication to me was made what so ever.

      I had a HVAC system installed on Nov. 2024. The A/C stopped working on March 16th 2025. I called and on Mar. 17th and the A/C was fixed that time. We requested a tune-up on May the 30th that was scheduled for June 14th. On June 14th I was informed that due to unforeseen circumstances the appointment was moved to July 21st. Now, on June 19th the unit stopped cooling. I called ARS and an appointment was scheduled for June 20th. The Technician end up showing at 10:28 pm while we were sleeping, so no service was provided. I called ARS again on June 21st to follow up and was told their technicians had been very busy and that they could not send another technician until June 26th. Due to the extreme heat t during this period, I called ARS again on June 21st to see if they could treat my request on an emergency basis since we are a senior citizen couple with medical conditions. I was told a technician would come on June 24th, no time for the visit was given but I was assured someone would come. No one came and at 11:29 pm I called ARS to complain about the situation. I was told that a manager would be contacting me as soon as possible. Today, on June 25th after waiting half a day for a call, I called ARS and was told by a supervisor named ****** (no manager was available!) that their system showed our service appointment was scheduled for June 26th and that, again, they are very busy during this time of the year. Although I explained to him our health condition, I was told we were scheduled for sure on June 26th. After this experience, I will not consider ARS for the purchase of a new A/C unit ever again, but just wanted to share my experience to warn potential customers to be careful when selecting an A/C company like ARS that may offer lower prices but cannot back their emergency service promises, especially if they are always busy during that time when you need them the most!

      I scheduled for a tune-up and service this past weekend, 6/21/25, through the Home Depot. Brothers Heating & Air booked and confirmed an appointment for 6/25/25 between 12PM-4PM. At 10AM on 6/25/25, they texted and emailed that I hade been rescheduled for 7/23/25. When I called to inquire and to complain (considering I rearranged my work schedule), I ask to speak to a manager. When the manager returned my call, he advised me that they were experiencing a number of units that were out and that those were being scheduled. I challenged him on my business is less important than another's business because one would generate them more revenue, and he litereally said YES. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on their customer service.

      ** ***** came out to inspect my air conditioner in April for preparation for the warmer weather. They said everything was working perfectly.Yesterday (two months later), my air conditioner cut out entirely and the indoor temperature jumped to above 85 degrees. I made an appointment and they said they would be out between 6 and 10pm the same day. By 8:25pm, I had heard nothing from them, so I called to confirm they were still coming out and they said they were and their dispatch team would be calling me back. At 10:01pm, I had still heard nothing and called and asked to speak to a supervisor. At that time, they told me they couldn't reach anyone and no one would be coming out. They rescheduled me for 2-6pm the following day. Our house dropped down to 80 degrees at night and we slept with wet towels on ourselves to stay **********, at 12:14pm, I called ** ***** again to ensure someone would show up this time. They confirmed I was on the schedule again and that someone would arrive between 2 and 6pm. I heard nothing after that and called back at 3:54pm to ensure someone would be coming out to fix our issue. I was placed on hold and transferred for nearly 20 minutes until I was told that no one was available and they could reschedule me for Friday. When I asked why I kept getting pushed back in the queue, they had no answer. When I asked why no one contacted me, they had no answer. When I asked why I paid for their elite program only to have my air conditioner break down anyway and then receive no expedited service, they had no answer. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, I was told that the customer support staff wasn't able to reach any of them and that they didn't really know what was going on.I will absolutely never use ** ***** again and will make sure that family, friends and neighbors understand what a terrible experience this has been.
