      I paid ****** for a service a service fee. They set me up with a company called same day service. Four days later still nothing when I called to have them cancel service with this Company for not showing up especially since my A/C went out they cancelled but kept the ****** service fee.

      Very slow to respond to concerns/complaints of assigned vendors. On June 13, 2025, I requested service on a broken microwave. They assigned a company and that company never called me. I called the company on June 13 and left a voicemail. No one called me back. I called today, June 23, and got their voicemail. I did not leave a message I called AHS and talked with their customer ********************** *** and she tried calling the company. She left a voicemail. I told her to please assign another company. I told her I did not want this company as I felt they were unreliable since they haven't contacted me since the 13th. She told me AHS needs that companies permission to assign another company. I asked to speak to a Supervisor. She put me on hold. When she came back she said I could not talk to a Supervisor and she was going to wait until the company returned her call. I again asked for a Supervisor and she said no.

      Very disappointed with American Home shield. I got the warranty to protect my Home. My air-conditioning stopped working called and they sent out a technician.The technician came when my husband was home he is in a wheelchair and couldn't make sure the technician did his job. I contacted them after they denied replacement of my air-conditioning. I told them i was going to cancel and the representative said I will refund the service fee of $125.00. That way may 23 2025. Im still waiting for the refund. I've called everyday seems like and still waiting its June 23 2025.

      If there were an option to leave 0 stars, I would. First, all their calls are outsourced to *****. The language barrier is the biggest problem. I can understand a word theyre speaking and they are unfamiliar with US customs, so they dont understand the sense of urgency. STL is experiencing severe heat and AHS could not get anyone out to me to come fix my air conditioner, but they made sure to charge me the $125 service fee. I had to end up finding someone on my own. After they refund my service fee, Im canceling my business with them. I can take that $55 per month fee and put that towards my savings for future repairs.

      Really bad. The sales team talks sweetly, but the cancellation department lacks empathy. The service person assigned by American Home Shield never completes the work, and if we question him or complain him about quality of work, he just replies, 'With the warranty, this is the only service you get. If you need more, please pay out of pocket.' The customer ********************** of ********************** also responded similarly

      My AC went out and I called them so I could get it fixed. They sent a company out to look at it and because they said my gauges didnt look old someone else had been working on it. Mind you Ive only been in the house about three years and this was the first time anything had broken down on me. Its been a very hot summer and to get denied for something that I didnt do was crazy. Ill probably change companies because They seem like a rip off.

      I've been using American Home Shield since 2015. Ever since they moved their customer ********************** overseas, it has been beyond bearable to deal with this company. I actually had one of their customer ********************** reps. **** me a liar. He told me the company that came out and did the estimate actually did the job. When I called to tell American Home Shield that the job had not been done yet. I don't have the extra money I'm going to have to pay. They told me that I was lying and that the company told them that they did the work. All that I got from American Home Shield was an estimate. They did not do the service but yet are trying to collect $125 from me for a one-time free estimate. I don't know if the company they sent out to me is in cahoots with them but they definitely did not do the service and now they are threatening me with collections. I've been paying $66 a month for over 2 years and never put in a claim. Now I get a free estimate and they want another $125 from me, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY HAVE BEEN A FAILURE SINCE MOVING THEIR CUSTOMER ********************** OVERSEAS. BEFORE THIS MOVE THEY WERE AN AWESOME COMPANY I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER WITH A HOME WARRANTY COMPANY BUT EVER SINCE THE MOVE IT'S BEEN A NIGHTMARE

      I would provide a 0 star if possible. We have had a damaged oven since February, 2 different work orders, and a pitiful customer ********************** experience. We have spent thousands in meals out and there is no way to escalate this situation. American Home Shield is a warranty company I would NOT recommend.

      For my service request, it has now been over four months and my exhaust fan issue remains unresolved. A contractor was initially assigned, but they have been completely unreachable. Despite my repeated requests to have a new contractor assigned, no action has been taken.During this time, I have made 12 calls to your support center. On multiple occasions, I was told a callback was scheduled and that I would receive an update by the following Monday. Unfortunately, this has now happened three times in the past month, with no follow-up from your team.Unless this issue is resolved immediately, I will be canceling my coverage on Monday.

      The worst that we had to deal with them , we have split ac system . They first send the wrong technician and they cant work on it . We had to wait another week to get it fixed until the next technician was available. They showed up and hes great . The company not so much . They give us a call and they cant cover it because there is a tube they dont want to deal with and theyre making an excuse mind you we have been dealing with the heat we have kids . And yet they couldnt even give us a solution to make it work we have been suffering in the heat all this time waiting for them to give us a repair solution and still nothing . We canceled and we dont want to do business with them . Horrible because theyre not the ones dealing with the heat we are . Just taking peoples money and not trying to help which is why theyre there for . Kept bringing up the policies and excuses . While the amazing technician was trying to help us before July will hit . Horrible horrible customer **********************
