AHS sent a plumber to fix my sewer ejector pump They left sewage all around the sewage ejector pump (toilet paper) in the front yard The audacity to said sorry we dont clean that even though its a *************** Code and every other Plumber Ive ever had service my house -100% took the initiative & professional responsibility to leave the **** sanitary condition vs. T&C plumbing who left sewage in front of my residence ! Every plumber I have had , outside of ( T& C plumbing /AHS ) , has been professional and clean ! The plumber shows up in a generic van So its some cheap side company that theyre paying to do the work I did file a complaint with the **** in **********. This is where they obtain their licenses. I called them twice and said they would not be coming back and if they did come back, I would have to pay another $125 to get them to clean up the mess that they left! They hardly speak English And the 186 reviews on their actual website are from the owner- lolol - They were as unprofessional as they come- I dont believe theyre from our country and probably have someone counter signing over them with a valid California contractor license.

Total Scam Stay Away from American Home Shield Ive been a loyal, autopay customer with ********************** for years, paying them month after month without ever making a single claim until recently. When my $500 dishwasher broke, I finally decided to use the service Ive been paying for. Big mistake.Not only did AHS refuse to cover the repair or replacement, but they also had the audacity to increase my premium and hit me with a $125 service fee. To make things worse, they tacked on another $125 charge for a microwave Ive never even had serviced. Ive called dozens of times to get this straightened out, and every time Im met with dead ends, transfers, and zero accountability.This company is a complete scam. Theyre more than happy to take your money for years, but the second you actually need them to do what you paid for, they disappear. If they wont help over something as simple and relatively inexpensive as a dishwasher, what do you think is going to happen when your HVAC, plumbing, or electrical system fails?Im done. Im not giving them another cent, and I highly recommend you stay far away unless you enjoy throwing money away for absolutely nothing in return.American Home Shield

Recently, my fridge broke down and because we have a contract with AHS I decided to reach out. I admit I havent had the best experience with them and have tried to cancel multiple times but was convinced by their representatives that it was warranty I needed since it covered ALL appliances. I wanted to give them one last shot. We reached out and they sent someone to assess the fridge, however, the technician stated they couldnt do anything because it was full, even though it was not. He provided no resolution and just left. AHS sent an unreliable technician and still took their money and Ive decided they are no longer worth paying anymore. Please avoid this and other home appliance warranties, you are better off saving the money you pay to them and doing your own research to find a more reliable and reputable contractor.American Home Shield

Absolutely terrible service. Weve contacted American Home Shield multiple times to repair our AC, and every single time they fix it, a new issue arises. Living in *****, where the heat is unbearable, this is more than just an inconvenienceits a health risk. Their contractors seem unqualified, and theres zero accountability. Its been a complete waste of time and money.If youre considering using AHS, dont. Youre better off investing in a more reputable company with competent technicians and real customer support. Im done with them and moving on to a provider who actually knows what theyre doing.American Home Shield

I live in ***** my ac unit was dripping through my ceiling a "technician" came out to fix it and left. My ac not working at all mind you it was working prior before he did any work on the unit just a leak. Don't recommend this company at all.American Home Shield

People save your money , I have had this Gold protection plans for going on 7 Years at 755.00 A year X 7 years. Every Summer since I , have had this protection plan they have been to my house 12 times, for the AC which is 19 years old. plus every time you use them , you pay a 150.00 service call plus a 130 dollars per pound of freon. They band aid your appliances. Note the 12 times they have visit my home to do Ac work it’s the same problem.American Home Shield

I have had American Home Shield for several years and will be canceling here shortly after the way I was treated by a supervisor after having to escalate my ticket due to being denied several times regarding a whole house fan issue. Could you imagine being hung up on by a person who you pay instead of hearing me out and listening to my concerns? Thats exactly what had happened to me as I have waited several weeks to have a very minor issue repaired. I could understand if I was being rude or irate, but me just simply explaining to the supervisor that the reason they denied my claim was incorrect. I was explaining legal terms to her when I asked for her supervisor and she said this is as far as it goes. I saw it coming and I told her not to hang up on me and a few seconds later, thats exactly what happened. I was appalled. I employee these people and to be treated like trash was unacceptable.American Home Shield

We have used AHS for six years, the used to be pretty good, not anymore, we called on May 7th because our dryer wasn't working, they said they would find someone.. After 2 days we called them, they said they found someone.. Well the person never called, we left messages, he finally called said ..take a picture of the I'd number of the dryer,we did never heard from him again !!!! The representatives at AHS keep telling they will get a hold of him...nothing its now May 21 st, nothing...we want our deposit back and we are cancelling our coverage, and by the way all the service people who have come to our house ALL said they won't work for them anymore because it takes months and monthsfor them to get paid, no companies in our town will work for them...same reason...I'm done !!! Well its apparently been turned over to a higher up representative, they called today when we were out, never left a message,we call AHS and said we wanted to talk to the supervisor.. They said she would call as soon as possible..nothing, they took our $ ****** dollars on the 7 th of May,it's now the 27 th no work done !!! We paid for a service we never got... We will be contacting the State ************************ next..the stole our money.......??
