Water heater burst. Paid $100 deductible. Plumber came out and warned me it would take 2 weeks with AHS. Sure enough on the phone with people overseas for 3 days to no avail, and they say it will be 2 more weeks before equipment is available. 2 kids and showers don't work not even cold (not enough pressure). They don't care at all. I am going to replace the water heater myself and avoid the grief. ****** learned. Avoid at all costs.

I took out a home warranty through American home shield I placed the service request on May 15th cesspool service paid my deductible with tax $133 pay my premium I still haven't got a contractor to come and look at my cesspool cesspool company that was assigned refuses to take the job because American home shield had paid him for the last jobs that were done so American home shield cannot find contractors because American home shield does not pay their contractors terrible terrible terrible service terrible I do not recommend American home shield to anyone!! They offered me to pay out of my own pocket but I've also gotten they do not have a very reputable reputation on reimbursement so therefore I am not going to do that being since I've already paid my deductible and my premium so they need to get on it or refund my money which they're not doing do not recommend American home shieldAmerican Home Shield

May heating and air charge me 1400 dollars on Nov 24 25 put a compressor in my ac unit. It's 5 months later the compressor is bad and they don't wanna help, anyone know of good attorneys so I want have to pay for a new one again, it should at least have yr warranty on a compressor they only gave me a bill. They sent 2 Mexicans guys out that didn't know how to speak English they was talkin to each other wrote the bill out and left I called American home shield they don't wanna help either talkin about another 125 fee today Is may 22 2025, no stars not even 1 until yall fix my unit you will keep hearing about itAmerican Home Shield

The refrigerator stopped cooling. AHS replaced ice maker instead of fixing the issue. After two months, still I am waiting on a part to be replaced which I think will not fix the problem. The Technician also seems helpless with all this . I asked for a buyout and they are offering 150$ for a Refrigerator . I am with Platinum plan and I think the time has come to really look at whether this is worth continuingAmerican Home Shield

If I could give them a zero I would. I have been with them for over 7 years before I filed the first claim. It was for a washing machine. They failed to inform me the status of the repair request for over 5 weeks and when they did they informed me it would be 6-8 additional weeks for the repair to be completed. They offered me a little over $300 for a cash out since the machine could be repaired, but failed to provide any alternative to being able to do laundry at home. When I asked for the pay out and then to cancel my subscription, they said that they wouldn't pay the cash out for I was no longer a member. There is no way that I would recommend them to anyone.American Home Shield

Have been waiting now since May 9th for a service repairs for our refrigerator!? When trying to call AHS about numerous cancelations for repairs,all I get is a phone bank in the ***********!??? Today May 21st was scheduled for a service repair for the refrigerator from 8 to 5 and now it's been moved back to May 27th!??American Home Shield

Horrible service. I have had AHS for long time and was a loyal customer. Every year I have issues with my central air condition unit and every year they send sub contractors supposedly to fix but every year I put in a ticket to fix it. The unit I have is from 1979 and AHS is refusing to replace it and keep trying to fix it and it fails every year. I have come to realize this company is bunch of liars and no help on when needed. I wasted my money all these years for nothing.American Home Shield
