      Cancel your contract. It's not worth it. AHS only cover $250.00 if your repair has to be modified. AHS denied my simple water leak repair because my repair had to be modified. If you have a repair that needs to be modified AHS will only pay $250.00 you will have to pay the amount above the $250.00. which is a lot of money. It could be hundreds maybe thousands.

      I have NEVER been so upset with a service!! We pay monthly (autopay) and NEVER missed a payment in over 5 years. We have our deductible and have waited over a week and half for a part which our repair *** said was no longer available! AHS has decided to start buying parts from ****! When the part was received it was not only the wrong one and wrong color, but the repair company for a 2ND time requested for a new oven! We are now being told we must wait for another part to attempt and was now told you ***s don't even need to match color or brand. I don't care about a brand, but when I have a technician here trying to mess with the boards and break stuff off old ones so the insurance company will pay that is now a SAFETY hazard!! The board won't even lay flat into the oven top!! I have called and was told a manager will not call me back for 48 hours, I've been hung up on twice, told you ***s can't call as it would be TOO EXPENSIVE!!! I'll be without an oven for 3 weeks AND we're still unsure if this part coming in will work! I could've paid for 5 ovens at this point with the amount we pay monthly!!! I will NEVER recommend this company and now not just myself, but my family who has you ***s will be leaving as well! CONGRATS AHS....you ***s really know how to s**** over your customers!

      THEY DENY EVERTYTHING. WILL NOT AUTHORIZE REPAIR ON ANTHING AND CHARGE YOU $125.00 FOR NOTHING. MY ELECTRICITY WENT OUT AND SENT AN ELECTRICIAN FROM DNZ. THE GUY CAME IN AND SAID OH NO NEED HOA APPROVAL AND LEFT. PD $125 FOR THEM TO DENY. DID NOT NEED HOA APPROVAL. 125 FOR NOTHING

      If I could leave less stars for this company I would! THEY ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! Anytime we had to use them they could not find contractor to service us and then it was up to us to find a contractor that met there guidelines so that we that we would eventually be reimbursed weeks later. They first time our heat went out and it was -7 outside. They did not see a reason to bump us up in priority so we spent over 24 hours without heat and had to make sure our pipes didn't freeze. Second time we had sewage backup into our basement and they still did not see that as an urgent matter and we had to wait 48 hours for them to tell us they don't have anyone for us to work with. Both times this happened we had to pay the $125 service fee to american home shield and also pay the contractor we had to find with in their guidelines then submit redundant paper work to get reimbursed and it took 3 weeks to get a check back from them. Both times we were out over $500 dollars to the contractors and what we paid American Home Shield. ABSOLUTELY A WASTE OF TIME and then people you speak with for foreign, completely incompetent and do not care. Literally any other company would be better then this one!

      American home shield is a terrible warranty company and do not cover everything and ask you to pay out of pocket costs for most of the issues. If any issue is emergency and causing external damage, they are not going to take their own time sending a technician to fix it. It is not worth it. They are not good.

      My refrigerator stopped working, and AHS assigned a technician who refilled the Freon twice in one week without fixing the issue. He then ordered parts, but its been over five weeks with no update. Both AHS and the repair company keep saying the parts are on order with no timeline for repair. Ive called 3040 times with no resolution.When I escalated, AHS offered a small cash-out that isnt enough to cover the repair myself. They refused to replace the unit and claimed theres no time limit for repairsit could take indefinitely. Their customer ********************** has been unhelpful throughout. Extremely disappointing experience and a waste of money on their plan.

      Thank you for your response. Its been six weeks, and theres still no sign of the repair being completed. The repair company scheduled and canceled appointments three timeseach time on the day of the appointment. We stay home and miss work, only for no one to show up, which is frustrating and a waste of time.All of this happened just this week, including today. No one showed up again, and they didnt even inform me or rescheduleI had to call them myself. I can provide proof of all the rescheduling and todays no-show. This constant rescheduling and poor communication reflect very poorly on both the repair company and AHS. The vendor AHS chose is clearly not reliable.I hope AHS understands that customers are paying for ********************** plans and expect service in return. Please take responsibility for the delays and provide a quicker resolution.

      CANCELLED the service! The companies they source are scammers and crooks!!! Ive had AHS for 14yrs the earlier years were great come the last 6yrs the service is trash! They contact with companies who rate less than 3stars on ******! *** had companies to ghost after theyve come to our home and I have to wait 3wks+ for AHS to resolve what!?? Ive had other services men try to give us a bill for the work thats covered they claim is not!!! DO NOT CONTRACT with AHS they source out scammers and crooks.. (maybe not all but the majority) Ive posted on every platform!!!

      I am never one to lodge a complaint, however, my service with AHS has been ATROICOUS. I have had this service for almost 5 years now and this is my one of my first ever service requests that I have ever filed. I am on day 6 of no AC in the Texas heat and I filed a service request as soon as I noticed the issue with my AC unit. My service claim was assigned to a contractor that is over 50 miles away from me, and I can almost guarantee that there is a contractor associated with AHS that is closer (I am located in the ****, ** area). I had to reach out to the contractor for scheduling after they had not contacted me to schedule service. Upon scheduling, I waited at my home for over 4 hours on the scheduled day of service. I ended up having to contact the contractor upon a no-call no-show only to be told that they would unfortunately have to reschedule for the next day. I then waited at my home for 5 hours (they were over 1 hour late but did communicate that they were coming upon yet another phone call initiated by myself) only to have the contractor at my home for 20 minutes or less to "diagnose" the issue. The diagnosis was "dirty interior coils" on the system, despite the fact that the coils had been cleaned less than a year prior. Additionally, the inside fan motor was in my opinion humming and was arguably the issue. This was not diagnosed by the contractor but is rather my educated opinion. The contractor stated that he had to have authorization to perform service of "cleaning the coils" and that upon approval by AHS he would then perform said service. He stated that this approval could take up to 24-hours so he and his assistant left. I have called AHS twice over the past two days and had horrible experiences on hold, escalating the issue, and attempting to speak to a supervisor. I can honestly say that this is one of the first online reviews I have ever given a business and I would 100%, unequivocally, NOT recommend AHS to anyone based on my experience.

      This option was never offered to me even upon escalation. I was able to have a local service technician come to my home within 1 hour and my unit was repaired. The local technician stated that the service contractor who came to my home was not even correct in his diagnosis of the system. I have since canceled my contract with AHS based on the horrible customer ********************** I received.
