      Most unprofessional, gaslighting company in existence. AHS could not provide a company to service AC, basically due to poor reputation. Dictated I would need to find service tech/company. Not our job. That is AHSs job; however, no one wants to work with them. They will not reimburse for service visit or replacement. No response at all. Initially, did not respond to inform they had no vendor to service the unit. All documentation submitted and they continue to say they need already submitted paperwork. The most unprofessional, gaslighting experience delivered by non English speaking persons! This is part of the gaslighting and reflective response taught in their training classes. There needs to be federal intervention on behalf of customers based upon the reviews that are basically identical to my experience.

      I bought an American Home Shield warranty because I had one about 10 years ago and it was wonderful. Curently I have had the worst experience with the service. My A/C went out on my 1st floor a month ago and I live in ********, ******* so it is very hot. The AHS Rep put in the request and a 3rd party was contacted. The A/C company, Same Day Air told me that my A/C Thermostat needed to read over 90 degrees for it to be considered an emergency. I responded that not only are both of my floors reading over 90 degrees but my house is filled with 2 people on disability - Multiple Sclerosis and a 3 month Liver Transplant person, plus 4 children ages 5 - 9. *** told me it would be sometime the next week but they would try to help, 6 days later, I called AHS and they contacted *** to request a date. The *** company gave the AHS Rep a date. I received a text after the call. The next day a very nice serviceman came to the house and performed an inspection. He said we needed the board that tells the unit what to do. I received a text saying Thanks for using AHS. I contacted *** to say the service was not complete. *** says only a licensed contractor could find the parts. A week later and no contact, I called ***, the male rep said they cant get a call back from the parts store. I called AHS, they said it will be another 24 - 48 hours for them to call *** to get an update. After I explained to the rep that I need someone to tell me something sooner than that timeline, they hung up on me. Yes American Home Shield's Rep hung up on me. I said to the rep, I have not called you out of your name, hollered or used bad language but you choose not to help me. That is when they hung up.. I called back 2 hours later and asked for the Corporate number or a manager or supervisor. The nice lady answered, I am only in sales and do not know of any other numbers. No one will help me and the AHS Commercials keep coming on the Television. Frustration to say the least!! Please help me!

      Haven't had air conditioning for a month and a half slow process with American Home Shield and the company they hire very frustrated it's been 95 to 100 and still don't have air conditioning they reroute me to different parts of the world to talk to people when American Home Shield is here in ************* can't get no one from ************* to talk to I should get compensation back for the out of pocket costs I had to put in I could have had it done in 2 days and I'm waiting almost 2 months to have my AC going not worth having American Home Shield

      Awaiting on a gas water heater no hot for a month. I know i live in ***** and it over 100 but cold shower are not for me. I called about 10 time and the same thing it on order for a 30 gallon really.

      A TOTAL SCAM.I would give this business no stars if that were possible. Instead of advertising their insurance as though they can cover "everything", consumers need to know that they cover NOTHING. I have caleed 4 times for issues and were either told outright that the items were not covered or my claims have been denied. When you go to cancel, they also charge an exhorbitant admin fee to cancel. Save yourself time and trouble. Do not purchase this insurance.

      AHS is a bad company. They take your 100 dollars and would not fix or complete what they're to do in the home. They allow the 30 days call time to elapse and say you need to pay another 100 dollars to repeat the same service ordered initially. I would advise anyone interested in doing business with them to cease. I wonder why they are still in business. BBB see to it and enforce some fines on them for bad business to the public.

      This is the worst experience I have ever had working with a company. I had a refrigerator that went out in February of 2022. As of the end of July, nothing was ever resolved. I called for service and no one ever responded. No contractor ever was assigned. So, they then told me that I needed to find the contractor and pay for it and they would then reimburse me for that. The contractors that I did find, did not want to deal with your company because there were too many issues with it. Basically denied a job because your company screwed them around. That went back and forth for months. They charged me $300.00 in total service calls and only reimbursed me for $150.00. The call center is a joke. They resolve nothing because it seems like they direct them to do so. They will not transfer to the billing department, that is not "allowed". They say they put in requests for what I am owed and someone will get back with me. They never do/did. They took my money and never gave me any service. On top of that I was getting hate mail that I owed more money. I had to call them again to get that removed from my account. To this day no one ever returned the money that was owed to me. I have called around 10 times . I have gone on chats, phone calls and even an email chain with someone that said they were going to help me. The only thing that they tried to do was not let me leave the service. They did that pretty good, obviously part of the ploy. No one ever did anything except take my money and give me a bunch of lip service. Even after this, I know no one will even take the time to resolve this. I will be taking this to other actions to get my money back. This is a very dishonest company and I will make sure everyone knows about it.

      The both home warranty and Repair **ntractor **mpany isnt inefficient, this technican ** take a month to submit report. and still not **mpleted the repair. The **verage is only **ver cheap stuff. Not worthy, plus it has higher service fee each time, and the membership fee is higher than average too. Most service lady are friendly, however one time did en**unter a service lady was extremely rude, not only not helping, not listen not understand situation, making assumption and ironic laughing, and blaming customers, the experience was horrible. Id NOT re**mmend the American home shield to anyone.

      ****** P l called in a service request on my ** unit on June 2, 2022. AHS sends a contractor out and they put freon into unit. The ** works for about 7 days and it goes out again, the contractor comes back out and inspects units and say its a coil leak she put a stop leak and adds more freon it last 13 days. The contractor says I need a new coil for the unit. The ** unit goes out again in a week. I have been without ** since June 21. July has passed us by without **. It has been 25 days of over 100% degrees in *****. I have been given the run around by AHS representatives blaming the contractor for not ordering the parts and the contractor says they supposed to order part and they gets a PO number to pickup parts after it is order. I continue to call everyday to know the status of equipment and they pass me on to the escalation team who tells me she will call the parts department and she calls them and say they will call me in ***** hours. to tell me status of equipment being ordered. This same answer has been going on for several weeks. I'm a disable veteran that has paid my monthly dues to AHS and the deductible and is not getting the service I'm paying for. They said they would reimburse me if I payed for it myself but their bid was $2500 and the contractor said it was $4500 to get everything done. I was not going to lose $2000 for something they supposed to cover. I denied the reimbursement offer so they can fix **. I'm still waiting on equipment to do the job. July 27, 2022.
