  I have been dealing with a broken ac system for over a month now with no results Kees giving me the runaround about when it is going to be addressed can only talk to representatives who kep lying to me when do I get my ac fixed think I have been waiting long enough the vendor they keep giving me I have not seen or talked to him since June 22, he doesnt answer his phone or return calls. BEWARE

  Their customer ********************** is horrible. Difficult to get contractors to come. Their portal requires you to call them rather than leave an email, so you enter the telephone long waits and enter the ghost zone. I cancelled a month ago and they are still hounding to pay for services after cancellation. It is a poor deal for consumers

  I filed a claim with American Home Shield to check both of my central A/C units. A contractor was dispatched to my home. The contractor ************************************* was very rude, unprofessional, intimidating and displayed a very aggressive behavior, which made me very uncomfortable, A week after diagnosing the problem with my A/C Units, the contractor said that one unit was authorized to be replaced and the other would be repaired. the first thing that the contractor asked was could he walk through my entire home, while he began to blame us as homeowners why both A/C units were not running properly. After he checked the exterior A/C units he said that my husband and I would have to pay him $3000 to put freon in both units to see if there was a leak. Later on, after I told him that I wasn't going to pay him $3000, the contractor claim that he had found out that my policy had unlimited freon. When I called to inform American Home Shield that this contractor was unprofessional, they still were recommending that I let the contractor do the work at my home. after, placing many calls to American Home Shield, I was told by American Home Shield that *********************************** had completed the installment of my new Heat Pump A/C Unit on 07/08/22 at 8am central standard time. I placed a call back to American Home Shield to let them know that the contractor that they assigned to me had committed insurance fraud, because to-date; *********************************** have not done ANY work in my home, American Home Shield took the word of the contractor and closed my claim, without doing any kind of investigation about my complaint. I asked American Home Shield to send another HVAC contractor out to my home so that I could prove to them that *********************************** has committed INSURANCE FRAUD. Instead, American Home Shield let my complaint fall on death ears. I filed a claim on 06/25/22 and today is 07/21/2022 and no action have been taken yet.

  After reading the other reviews I am hoping for a better result and didnt make a big mistake that I cant afford. How can I leave a star rating before Ive even received the contract or needed to contact them?

  I had a awesome experience with this warranty co. They answered all my questions and was nice about it. Told me the time frame when the tech will show up and what to expect. It was true to the minute. I just appreciate the professionalism That they shared. Phone call and text messages were on point. The process is not over but I know I can only expect positive results as the problem has been diagnosed and waiting for approval. Looking to cool off real soon.

  DO NOT WASTE MONEY WITH American Home shield. "ZERO STAR from me - One of the worst companies u can get. - - - - It's been 3 months since I started a call to repair HVAC ****. 1st month they Denied my claim to replace HVAC according to FormulaAir Contractor it was unrepairable.... 2nd month they approved the replacement of my HVAC 2.5 ton (Considering I have to $2000 to Local contractor to INSTALL UNIT....they told Formula Air LLC local contractor, we are sending a unit. Once the contractor reach to distributor center - UNIT was not there - After calling every single day. NO SOLUTION. --- keep telling contractor we are arranging unit it will take 3-5 busniess day - - - - -3rd Month NOW the Distributor does not have unit available. there are 1000's of unit available everywhere in *** ***** hvacdirect. - - - - Except their vendor - - - - - - What ahs do, is to delay so much when customer get so upset, customer would rather go directly to local company pay themself and get it fix. - - - - This is what their business model is ---- scam new client and never fix anything even after paying $110 service call....99% of the positive reviews you see are paid people. you can literally see, Nothing has been explained what was fix or NOT. Anyone can leave a Good review, but this AHS Do no deserve to be in business. they should be called, SCAMMER - They actually barely cover anything that need a fix. There is no point to get this warranty . I m just Hoping after paying $2000. I may get a unit but not sure ---------- raising voice on customer ********************** in *********** won't solve the case, Because they DO NOT Accept any call in ***. there is no contact number in ***, ALL outsource to ***********. PLS DO respect Philippinos Agent (Do not curse them), they are just Doing their JOB. while AHS get the benefit of using low wage customer care - shame on you **********************.

  American home shield is a HORRIBLE company that does FALSE ADVERTISING!!! I had a toilet leak fixed 2xs and the plumber stated that I could NOT have it repaired by AHS, because I had reached my limit, but would not replace it either?! They also have some of the WORST companies that they try to send out at 1st. Once you look the companies up on ****** reviews, you find out that those companies have the worst reviews. American Home Shield is a fake, fraud, and imposter of a company. They want you to pay your service charge up front, and when that company is unable or unwilling to do the work, AHS wants to charge you AGAIN! DO NOT BELIEVE the advertising, because it is a "bait and switch:" In triple digit temps, they refused to repair or replace my HVAC system, and when I paid $1,200 to have it repaired, they REFUSED to reimburse me!

  They advertise they will fix anything. I call and ask they said yes. I asked if I cancel is there a cancelation fee the lady days no. I get the home warranty and things get denied. I try to cancel and they say I need to pay more and pay a cancelation fee. Do not trust them. They say anything to get you in and do nothing. Worse home warranty ever.
