      Spammers. Refuse to effect unsubscribe. Hang up when you ask to speak with someone. Anyone who runs a business like this is likely a scammer.

      Our furnace is broken. AHS sent out a vendor. Vendor diagnosed and ordered parts. Come to find out that they never orders parts (per AHS). Two months goes by and the tech comes back out, orders another part. Unit is still broken. Called AHS to request another company. They refused. Said we had to wait another ***** days. Waited another ***** days. AHS called the vendor and they never ordered the part, but did **** AHS. We asked to transfer vendors. AHS refused again. Its been 3 months and our furnace is still broken. This vendor is ordering parts and charging AHS, but never ordering them. Its incredibly unethical. We just want our unit fixed and AHS has not provided any resolution or escalation.

      I'm usually a pretty calm and understanding person but my last experience with AHS has my blood boiling. I live in ** where the temperatures have been reaching 118 degrees for most of the day. Our ac unit isn't working so I called AHS. They couldn't give me access to my account even though I had ALL of the information they needed to prove it was me because someone on their end added the wrong name to MY account. We had 2 homes, sold one, told the new home owner to purchase AHS, they did, AHS decided to put the new home owners names on BOTH accounts so it took me hours to get them to give me access to my own account. I actually had to call the new home owners to prove they didn't also own my other home. Basically, someone at AHS messed up and continued to charge my credit card for service but took my name off of my account. Okay...got that figured out. Scheduled a service call for our unit on Thursday 10:22am, SAME DAY AIR called Friday at 9:05AM, I missed the call, I called them back same day at 10:08am and left a message, didn't hear back, called them a few days later, they explained that because I didn't call them back within 48/72 hrs they canceled the work order and I have to call AHS to reschedule. FTR I called them and left a message an hr and 3 mins after I missed their call...but okay...I called AHS and explained, they ran me around for a while, put me on hold, scheduled the new appt, never got back on the phone and just hung up on me. I received a text saying a new work order had been placed. I have all phone recordings and call logs. I never hear from SAME DAY AIR to schedule so I call them today. They AGAIN canceled my work order because AHS put it in as a "recall order" but they've never been out to our house. Now I"m waiting on AHS to call me back which was supposed to take 10 minutes in the queue but has been almost 2 hrs. I have never ever had issues like these with any other company in my life. I'm extremely disappointed

      Our HVAC system was very old and apparently a part could not be ordered for the repairs. AHS covered the replacement for a new ***** We had to pay the customery service call amount and their were some parts in the house which needed replacing that was not covered and that ran us at a $1000. Over all we were very pleased. Unfortunately our system had to go out right at the beginning of triple digit heat. I am sure many people were having problems. Our HVAC closet is also our water heater closet and this posed a problem because the new HVAC systems are larger and the closet could not accommodate both the water heater and the ***** AHS searched and found us a unit that came extremely close to the fit line. Our hot water tank is at the edge of the door but we intend to change that out for a tankless water heater and filter system. We had all of this done just short of 2 weeks and we could not be happier.Thank you AHS.

      I have had AHS for over 5 years this time. Paid $90 a month for last couple years, just went to $107. Put in claim for A,/C on 7/7/22. No contractor assigned so I called on 7/12. They said there were no contractors in my area but they would see about getting one assigned. They tried assigning a contractor. I called and couldn't leave a .essayed because his voice mail was full. They called him and he said I was outside his 35 mile service area. Still waiting almost 2 weeks with no A/C with Temps pushing 100

      First time I used the service (and will be the last time) after signed up for a warranty contract since March/16/2022. It has been 9 days since I opened a request for an AC problems and AHS has not been able to "find a local electrician" to dispatch even I contacted them everyday. It took me 5 minutes to find an local electrician and I had him immediately come over to fix the problems (had to pay $250.00 out of my pocket). I also just cancelled the contract today and asked for the refund of the deductible amount of $100 which they already charged to my credit card. However, they refused to pay back the deductible amount since they say they already started the service call and still in the process of finding an electrician. It has been 9 days now.Bad experience, bad service, worst customer **********************. Stay away from these people.

      I used to be a satisfied customer from ********* but recently since they have been aquired by Frontdoor they have gone all the way bad. They still cover things but they use the worst contractors they can find with horrible 1 star reviews that don't know how to fix issues they actually make things worse. The don't return phone calls or emails. Contractors or American home shield HQ. Its not good at all I am very displeased. it's good to have a home warrantly that will handle unforseen issues but I suggest you do your due diligence before choosing one. American Home shield is unfortunately going down.

      ********************* owner of ****** Appliance Repair ordered a fan belt for my ancient ************** dryer. When the belt came in he was at the house the next day, a Sunday to install it. Which was a excellent experience from start of service call to the finish. Gage is a competent appliance technician who strives to build his customer base. Furthermore, I recommend him to anyone in need of appliance repair. Himself as well as his wife are turning around their family business for the better. By taking the iniative to make ammends for past employees whom did not share his high standards. Please do not hesitate to use his service. *********************

      I scheduled a repair for our AC unit, we live in ***** and we are in the 3 digits now, very hot. AHS has ** scheduled within 24 hours. The company they sent out ******* Air was very professional and took care of us. Thank you AHS and ******* Air!! ***********************
