  Filed 2 tickets to have someone come out to look at our a/c starting on 7/14/2022. It some how got canceled by dispatch and thats all we were told. Then we called on 7/17/2022 and had filed another ticked and had it moved as an emergency and was told we would get a call with in 4 hrs. No call (surprise surprise). We called them and that got canceled some how too. We ask d to speak to a manager both times and was told one wasnt available and would get the run around. We are calling tomorrow and canceling. All they care about was getting money and not wanting to help.

  We had some work done on a hot water heater through our own contractor and American Home Shield said they would refund anything about the service charge that they charge. It has been a long time since then. We have calle numerous times and email them several times with no response. Call and get busy signals or if someone should answer, they do not pay attention to our request for the refund: Instead they keep insisting we file a claim for work to be done.The work has already been done. We have already sent them the invoice from the contractor, as well as the contractor getting in touch with them, as well as sending all other documents that they requested......but still no response. Then we see they raised our monthly payment! We definately will not recommend this company to anyone.

  AHS continues to fraudulently charge me after several request to cancel contract. This started in Dec 2021 with 2 misdiagnosis from inferior technicians and 3 visits by qualified technicians who had to get the same diagnosis before AHS would approve the repair in April 2022.I asked for my contract to be canceled in March 2022, after requesting a cash out for the repair they never made. I am owed the cash out value of a Rinnai Tankless water heater circulation pump (~$800) and $343.94 for fraudulent charged monthly premiums.Disgruntled Customer

  Avoid this company at all costs! We were loyal paying customers for years and then when we recently tried to get coverage (for an item they said was absolutely covered), we waited over a month to find out that the electricians they assigned would not come because Home Shield had not paid them for any of the the work they had done in the past year. I spent over 8 hours on the phone with reps (a different one every time you call) trying to resolve the issue because they had immediately billed our credit card for the $125. deductible (for the service we never received!) They promised every time to resolved the issue and never did--we finally had to block them from ever charging our credit card again because they would never confirm that I told two different reps that we wanted to cancel. This was a nightmare and our electrical problem remains unresolved due to the time I wasted with them.

  They have been collecting money religiously but unable to solve my AC problem for over a month now. They keep promising they will call me back. They are just money making.

  Absolutely horrible company. Dont use them. Been without ac for 2 months. They are refusing to fix it. Cant talk to someone in *******. Its 100 degrees where we live. Absolutely horrible.
