Bridgestone needs to cut ties with Firestone completely because of poor customer service and shady business practices. I requested an inspection from a certified ASE mechanic with no engine lights on. After passing the inspection, I'm immediately met with an engine light. Long story short, they acted like they didn't know what the issue was and sent me on my way. The mechanic, ********* ****, intentionally left something unplugged in hopes they could upcharge me. Shady business practices.

I stopped in the Town Center location of Firestone in Kennesaw, Georgia, to return and/or replace a tire that is under warranty and I have the road hazard for flat repair. Since the object was too close to the wall of tire it could not be patched. I requested a refund, ****, the General Manager advised, "You can not get a refund, but rather a discounted price based on the treadwear of the tire."  I acknowledged his statement and requested to purchase a new tire with the discounted price.  After pausing our transaction to wait on 3 other customers tha walked in, ****, the General Manager, goes out to my car, checks my tires, and sees that I purchased new tires that were not Firestone tires.  He reenters the shop, and in a rude and condescending tone barks at me like I'm a stray dog wandering on his property and says, "I'm not going to replace your tire, you bought new tires from another place."  "Take your tire.  I did your wheel alignment, but I'm not replacing your tire."  I'm flabbergasted by his demeanor towards me.  I tell him my new tires have nothing to do with the fact that my Firestone tire is still under warranty and I have road hazard protection.  "I'm not replacing your tire. You don't have a tire for me to put it on. I'm not replacing your tire, you're probably gonna try and sell it."  As I tried to speak my next words, ****, in a very rude, disrespectful, and dismissive tone barked at me again with a scowl on his face. "I'm not replacing your tire now you get out of my store."   I have been a loyal customer of Firestone for over 30 years, and I have never been treated so viciously disrespectful and by a General Manager at that. **** needs professional training, customer satisfaction training, customer focus training, manager training, sensitivity training and/or to not be General Manager at all.

They scratched the hood of my brand new Explorer during a PM and said they didn’t do it but it’s obvious they did it when replacing my wiper blades. What can be done? The Manager lied to my face

      Hi,
I want to make a complaint against a Firestone store (Store; 797091) in San Antonio Texas. On Monday 6/27/25 I took my vehicle to that store since the check engine light was flashing. They inspected the vehicle and called me next day to tell me that engine had a catastrophic failure and hey had to replace the engine for $10,729.25. The Service Advisor was Jacob. You can check the work order # ******. I had to pay them $128.56 for the inspection. Then I decided to not proceed with Firestone and took it to the ******* dealer and they said that only the spark plugs needed to be replaced. They fixed it in 24 hours for just $390.03. I am very upset with the dishonest service provided by Firestone. I should not have to pay the $128.56 for giving me false and misleading information in an attempt to deceive me for thousands of dollars. I ask that Firestone refund me the $128.56. I will never visit a Firestone and will strongly advice all my connections to avoid your service if you do not refund me the $128.56. I can send you copies of the Firestone Workorder and the ******* invoice to prove my complaint. Thanks,

      Firestone complete auto Care.
      West Palm Beach.
I went in for a tire rotation and wheel alignment. I stopped the mechanics after tire rotation seeing the damage they did with an oversized socket impact wrench, removing the lug nuts. I have shown the tires to the complaint department showing there is no curb damage only lug nut damage. The complaint department telling me it’s curb damage, but seeing no curb damage on the rims

took car in 4 weeks ago; paid $1800 for a new a/c compressor.
compressor worked for a few weeks and stopped. took car back in, "new" compressor replaced with another "new" compressor. pd another $500 for a "new" condenser. a/c stopped working again, after the 2nd day.
mgr said they would fix for no charge, which is fine. but now I'm convinced the entire business is shady.
don't take your business here. simply not worth the frustration of dealing with dishonest business

The vehicle went in for valve cover gasket. They did that. And noted that the oil was back before they worked on it. After they performed valve cover gasket a changed spark plugs, coil packs. They noticed that the became milky. They sent me home like that the vehicle failed three blocks from their shop. They don’t take my calls any more.

Had new tires installed at Tires Plus off Eighth and Sixth in Gainesville, FL. Tech sheared my wheel stud and mounted the lug anyway on what little was left. I discovered it when retorqueing my wheels after 50 miles and contacted the shop immediately. They looked at the sheared stud, charged me $287 to fix it, and said it must have happened when I took the lug nut off. No accountability and no interest in fixing their mistake with integrity.

I when there yesterday to have a flat tire repaired because it is close to my office. They told me it was not able to be repaid and that I would need to purchase 4 new tires. I refused and took the car to *** ****** on Shelbyville at New LaGrange and they repaired the tire without issue in about 15 minutes. Tires Plus is a complete scam.

This is the 3rd time and the last time I will take my car to Firestone. Dec. 30th I took my car in for an alignment. I was told I needed new rotors, front brakes, I had the work done. Brakes were still under warranty from 2yrs prior. I spent $346.41. I return in February, sounded like something was broken underneath the car. I was told I needed tie rods, sway link bar, pins before an alignment. New tires as well. I had the work done, so I assumed. I spend $681.39. Now June, same noise, same problem, tie rods have to be replaced, still under warranty from February, but now I also need "inner" tie rods. I was reluctant to have the service done because this didn't sound right but Im going to the beach this weekend so I finally agreed to pay $517.05 for the service. A day later the tech called me to tell me I need"rack & amp pins which would total $1438.09. I told him to just do initial work we agreed upon. Now I'm irritated. When I left left the repair shop, ran errands, it's like my car was never serviced, probably wasn't.
