1 starHad new tires installed at Tires Plus off Eighth and Sixth in Gainesville, FL. Tech sheared my wheel stud and mounted the lug anyway on what little was left. I discovered it when retorqueing my wheels after 50 miles and contacted the shop immediately. They looked at the sheared stud, charged me $287 to fix it, and said it must have happened when I took the lug nut off. No accountability and no interest in fixing their mistake with integrity.Review fromDoug O

1 starI when there yesterday to have a flat tire repaired because it is close to my office. They told me it was not able to be repaid and that I would need to purchase 4 new tires. I refused and took the car to *** ****** on Shelbyville at New LaGrange and they repaired the tire without issue in about 15 minutes. Tires Plus is a complete scam.Review fromAdrienne P

1 starThis is the 3rd time and the last time I will take my car to Firestone. Dec. 30th I took my car in for an alignment. I was told I needed new rotors, front brakes, I had the work done. Brakes were still under warranty from 2yrs prior. I spent $346.41. I return in February, sounded like something was broken underneath the car. I was told I needed tie rods, sway link bar, pins before an alignment. New tires as well. I had the work done, so I assumed. I spend $681.39. Now June, same noise, same problem, tie rods have to be replaced, still under warranty from February, but now I also need "inner" tie rods. I was reluctant to have the service done because this didn't sound right but Im going to the beach this weekend so I finally agreed to pay $517.05 for the service. A day later the tech called me to tell me I need"rack & amp pins which would total $1438.09. I told him to just do initial work we agreed upon. Now I'm irritated. When I left left the repair shop, ran errands, it's like my car was never serviced, probably wasn't.Review fromShaniya D

1 starI took my **** Grand Cherokee to Firestone last week, I explained what was going on with my vehicle. I left it there for 4 days to be repaired, I picked up my vehicle and for about 2 days it rode with no problem. However, after 3-4 days the same issue occurred with my vehicle, I took it back up to the shop and I was told that the service they provided was not the one I requested. Please keep in mind I spent $782 for those "repairs". After expressing my frustration, ***** (a team member) stated he did not know about the conversation I had with *** (Store manager) and that he was unable to assist any further until *** was back in the building. I picked my vehicle up with no lights on the dash board; and AGAIN once I pulled off from the store all of those lights came back on. The way this situation is being handled is far beyond unprofessional and very inconsiderate no one showed compassion for my issues. Also, keep in mind they conducted two diagnostic on my vehicle and still did not listen or service the exact issue I warned them about.Review fromKendra J.

1 starThis weekend, I found the A/C in my vehicle was not working. I pulled into a Tire Plus on South Virginia Street in Reno. They evaluated my vehicle and put together an estimate for repairs. A/C- Remove and Replace Compressor, Condenser with kit, Remove and replace Evaporator, Expansion Valve, Recharge A/C, Coolant Flush W/Sealer and Conditioner and Additional Coolant and Replace Belt. Replace Engine Air Filter and Cabin Filter. And 2 New Tires that were "Nearing End of Life" at only 20k miles.
I was told the A/C had corroded and had completely seized up. All for the price of $3436.77. With this news, you can imagine my heart sunk as I anticipated having to pay yet another big bill off. They did offer me a Tire's Plus credit card to help with financing.
I came to work on Monday and shared with my colleague the estimate for all of the repairs. He quickly said, "Wait! They're talking about replacing the WHOLE A/C system. You may just have a leak somewhere. He suggested going to another vendor. I called that vendor for a second opinion. He was able to get me in the next day. Within just a couple hours, he let me know the Cabin Filter was clogged and had dirt, debris and build up in it. With his diagnostic and replacement, my bill was only $175.00. What a relief this was. Wonderful service and amazing reviews for this other vendor. My air conditioner is working and blowing even colder air than before.
As for my review of Tires Plus.... SHAME ON YOU!! Not only have you lost a customer in me but I will let my friends and family members to NEVER EVER go there. Unless you have money to start a fire with and burn a while, DON'T go there. This is terrible!!!!Review fromIsaiah W.

1 starSubject: Unresolved Oil Leak
To whom it may concern
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the unresolved issue of the oil leak in my ***** CRV 2014 on 03/14/2025. Despite previous requests for repairs, the leak has not been addressed and resolved yet even with my payment of $350 , and I am still experiencing the same problem. This ongoing issue is causing significant inconvenience and concern for the safety and functionality of my vehicle.
I would appreciate prompt attention to this matter and request that the necessary repairs be completed as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and immediate action on this matter.
Sincerely,

1 starI took my jeep several times to Firestone as the back wheel was hot. I was told at least twice that there was nothing wrong with it I brought it in about 2 months later and was told that the front brakes-rotors-calipers were shot. I ended up replacing those for over $1000 with a military discount. I called a different Firestone questioning the cost and was told that I was overcharged. Amazingly the next day we got a call for a refund. Put about 400 miles on the car and was having brake problems again. This time they said-it could be the emergency brake but called back later saying the rear brakes-rotors -calipers were shot after they repeatedly told me there was nothing wrong. I took my car to a different garage who had a supervisor look at it before they touched it and was told the back brakes burned up because of a wheel bearing and the front because of collapsed brake lines and a wheel sensor. So instead of probably paying around 2 grand in initial repairs it ended up costing me over 4. We contacted Firestone and they stated their mechanics don’t miss anything and they’re not liable At one point they offered $850 in compensation but my husband told them where to go and that ended the conversation. Personally I wouldn’t offer anything if there was no wrong doing but take it for what it’s worth
Also my husband was charged $160 for a truck oil change and has since gone elsewhere-same oil change $80. Our vehicles will never go there again so be warned so this doesn’t happen to you
