      I purchased an appliance package through my local ********** in 2021 and was sold on the 5 year additional warranty through Asurion at an additional cost. My ** oven was having issues in June 2022 not holding temperature therefore undercooking food. I filed a claim and a few weeks later (after I called to inquire and was told that Asurion put in the wrong information which delayed my claim) a technician came to service my oven. The technician ordered the wrong parts and 3 weeks later there was still no resolution with my oven. Asurion then stated they needed a third party servicer to assess my oven and scheduled me an appointment another 1.5 weeks out. I took the day off from work was waiting in the 8-12pm window and no one showed up. I called ************* ( 3rd party servicer) who stated they don't service the area I live in and didn't know why Asurion had set this up. I called Asurion back and through their escalation team they decided they would request for ** to come back and diagnose/ service the oven yet again. This has been a 3 month process with still no resolution. The insurance package I purchased is literally a quarter of the cost of the oven. Seems to me if they can't properly service an area they should not be selling a package of lies to customers. Customer service is terrible and nobody actually cares. I wouldn't recommend Asurion to my worst enemy. Also, you can't leave a direct review on their website which leads me to believe their "5 star ratings" are fake because when you search around the internet you will find they truly have a 1.8 star rating which is more reflective of the truth.

      Dealing with Asurion has been the worst experience I have ever had with an appliance repair company and it is still ongoing. It has been more than a month since my refrigerator stopped cooling, and *******/Asurion still have not fixed it. Some of the difficulties I have encountered dealing with Asurion include:
      -difficult to reach an actual person on the phone
      -did not call back or respond to emails (even though they said they would)
      -repeatedly canceled my scheduled appointment and pushed it back a day or more, and notified me about this via text at 5 PM the day prior to the scheduled appointment time
      -ordered the wrong part, which caused additional delays
      -supposedly made the repair, but a few days later the fridge was not working again
      -when I called back to advise them that the fridge had stopped working after the repair, one Asurion rep insisted that I needed to be "pre-screened" and provide basic info such as fridge model and serial number, even though this is an ongoing case and Asurion has this information....when I repeatedly told the rep that the fridge was located at a rental property and that I could not access it for the model and serial number, and also told her that she should have that information already because I had already provided it earlier on, she insisted that I had to provide it again and therefore was unable to help me. I hung up with her, called Asurion right back, spoke to a different rep and had a totally different experience--this rep did not need my model and serial number
      -every time i speak to an actual Asurion rep, I get different answers and different responses
      -confusion about text messages received from UBreakIFix because it wasn't clear anywhere at all that this was actually the same company as Asurion
      -it has been more than one month since I first contacted *******/Asurion to repair my fridge, and it *still* has not been repaired. Asurion has been unsatisfactory in almost every way

      I purchased the insurance 'just in case'. Unfortunately, due to crowded hallways and pushy kids my sons new guitar was ruined the next day. Asurion made good on their promise and the claim was easy to file!

      I purchased a lawn mower from the ************************ (*****) and added a one-year protection plan for 39.99 in May 2022. The lawnmower broke on August 14, 2022. I attempted to register the product online via the protection care plan website ************************ but could do so because the product needed to be added to Asurion's database or something (it was not fully explained by the customer service representative). I called Asurion on August 14, 2022, to resolve the issue and was told that it would take 8 days to add the product. I did not hear back from Asurion so I called them back on 28 August 2022 for a follow-up. I was told that the system was down and that I had to call back at another time. I called back on 10 September 2022 only to find out that my claim has not been filed because the product was not added and that it would take 8 days to have it added.

      I am very upset because it appears Asurion did not attempt to add the product on 14 August 2022 and now I am delayed for at least another 8 days. They could not tell me if they will reimburse me or if I would have to have the mower repaired. Asurion is supposed to have another supervisor call me in a couple of days.

      This is just a review but I will file a complaint if this is not resolved in a more timely manner than Asurion has already shown to lack or if it is not resolved to my satisfaction.

      The only positive: the employees are pleasant to talk to.

      Well considering the fact that ********** refused to do the service stating that I did not have an account covering the trash compactor ...by asking for the purchase receipt even though I had all the other information....You did not repair anything .... ********************** did ! I will no longer use any Asurion coverage for anything including my travel as I have now secured travel insurance.... I wish you well and only hope other consumers are enlightened to your scams....

      This was sent to a email and text message from Asurion and ********** about the completion of a repair to my trash compactor .... They recently also did not completely cover the cost of a flight that was cancelled by the airline....
