This company is a rip off. Bought a air conditioner from **** with a extended warranty and provided receipts and documentation and they denied the claim twice. Once claiming their was a preexisting condition like it was a medical claim. Bought brand new so how possibly could you have a preexisting condition? The don't fix the product and just keep denying claim. Beyond the worst experience with customer service ever.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

Paid for extended coverage on a guitar I bought second hand from ****** ******* Less than 2 weeks in something simple needed fixed. Spent a week fighting with these clowns while they rejected my claim for increasingly insane reasons - my favorite being "The product in your claim is not covered by your plan", which is absurd on it's face. Customer service was rude and unhelpful, web chat would just direct me to call them, rendering that useless. I will never do business with this scam company again.N.E.W. Asurion is the biggest waste of money. I bought a pair of gloves for $179 from ***** ******** *****. They offered a protection plan which was $17. Almost two months later unfortunately the glove ripped so I went ahead and put in a claim. Talk about a waste of time. I am going on almost a month and a half going back and forth with I don't know how many people from their review claims team who can't seem to know what is going on, one tells me only one thing is missing, I send it, I call back then someone else tells me that something else is missing, so I send it, I call back and the next person tells me that I never sent what they asked me for, yet I have a claim number, so I resend it again. The sad thing about all of this is that I can get in a car accident and have my claim submitted and my car fixed in less time that it has taken to go through this process. I could probably go out and get a new pair of gloves, but it is the principle. I actually told a friend not to waste their money on getting a protection plan from Asurion because it is not worth it. They make it impossible, and they system that they use is absolutely horrible.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

I purchased an ****** Ghost bat from ****** ******** ***** and purchased the extra protection they offered through Asurion since these bats are known to crack and break often. In the first year the standard ****** warranty replaced 2 times (without a fight from ******). After the year lapsed the bat cracked again and became unusable. I filed the claim through Asurion and with a lot of back and forth, this claim was denied. They stated because the bats outer shell was cracked they are unable to grant the claim. When I asked how the inner bat could crack without the outer shell first cracking they simply said, "I am sorry, we cannot do anything to help you."
If you are a softball family, you know that these bats are known to break in this manner, this is the ONLY reason that people buy these protection plans, for Asurion to tell me that this is NOT covered is beyond infuriating. The last lady I spoke with stated that she was the highest person I could escalate to. In the end, I completely regret spending the additional $90 for a protection through Asurion since they just took my money and they did not cover what was promised. I will recommend to everyone I speak with to skip this plan, they will find a ridiculous way to deny your claim. When you already pay $500 for the bat, this is a complete waste of money.N.E.W. Asurion didn't honoured my protection plan for ceiling light purchased at ******. Also, chat agents said they can't take my email, when I offered them sending proof of purchase both protection plan policy document and actual item puchase.
****** - Please don't issue this SCAM Insurance on your website.

Horrible business outsourced to Philippines!!
Unfortunately bought extended warranty thru **** ***** for ******* steam front loader washer for 5 years. The drum sheared off bolt and broke machine. Samsung no longer makes drum machine is 4 years old. Asurion after 3 repair visits is required to replace washer. Asurion continues to not have part keeps pushing out repair after 5 weeks of run around now when we call they hang up on us. They are to refund us money for washer and continue to push us off. The drum is NO LONGER MADE BY *******. Only recourse is to refund us monies to purchase new washer. But, they keep hanging up on us mind you the supervisor “PATTY” continues to hang up on us after we say hello. BUYER BEWARE ASURION IS A RIP OFF!!! Horrible customer service!!N.E.W. Addition to review dated 6/24/2024. Asurion again still has not processed my claim it is week 8. Patty the “supervisor” has again lied about processing our check to purchase another washing machine. Two weeks ago Patty told not only us but the supervisor of **** ***** our check was being processed. So now not only is Patty from Asurion lying to us about check progress she lied to **** ***** Supervisor!! I purchased two products on ******. Asurion offered a 3 year warranty for both, which I purchased. My warranty expires next month. In the entire 3 year duration of me holding the warranty, I have tried to contact asurion on multiple different occasions to no avail. The company I purchased my electronics through were kind enough to fix my issue the first time. They aren't able to this time. And they shouldn't have to. That's why I purchased the warranty. I tried again, as recently as 2-3 months ago. I was denied a repair and offered a full refund as long as the device is returned. To return the device, I have to wait for a shipping label and box FROM Asurion...... it's been 2-3 months and I've received no label/box for either product. I feel defeated and stolen from. I was smart enough to keep my corresponding contact with asurion incase things turned legal but why do I have to threaten legal action or go as far as this BBB review to get the service I rightfully paid for. Asurion had no problem taking my money but has yet to fulfill a single warranty. And what's pathetic is my complaint is for my two specific electronic devices but I have other asurion warranty's purchased around the same time that I know won't get me anywhere either. My bike wheel broke, completely coming out of the front fork. I was miles away from the car and had to walk back. I couldn't also carry the broken wheel. Asurion demined my claim because the wheel is "missing"N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

This is the absolute worst company. They don't help even though you have proved and showed everything that they needed . They have sent the same company out for my washer for the same problem over the course of 5 months , at this point they have paid more in repairs then we have for the washer. Purchased their protection plan with an ****** order for a TV... Terrible service the description and product page is HORRIBLY misleading suggesting that your product is covered by a protection plan but instead it ONLY covers power surges specifically until your warranty ends then it only covers defects. I would've never paid for this GARBAGE service if I knew they weren't going to actually cover the important parts of my TV. I've had positive experiences with Asurion before but this one has been very negative. Will be sure to carefully read the fine print moving forward to make sure they don't scam me again!N.E.W.
