I bought bat protection for a ghost bat at ***** ******** *****, the bat cracked this pass weekend. So I contacted Asurion and according to them the bat was cracked too much and I should've contacted them when the bat was slightly cracked. I am going to never recommend Asurion to anybody, really horrible experience.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

I did an order on 4/10/24, the order was delivered I received a message in Spanish, which I do not speak Spanish, I put it in ****** and it says your order arrived. I went out to bring in the order about 5 minutes after it was left at the door and it was gone, I called ******* I was told they took the order back; In this chat I was told that expired items were delivered and that's why the order was taken back, I have been sending emails for 2 weeks with no response. I would like to know why ******* is selling and delivering expired Items. Why didn't the store send the order back to me with unexpired items?

Absolutely terrible! We bought a fridge, which was covered by the Asurion warranty. Never again! We have been without a fridge for weeks, because of their incompetence and customer last mentality. I wish I would have known this is how they are before I spent the extra money on the warranty. Save your money people, avoid this company when possible. I already filed a BBB complaint against them, next is a consumer affairs complaint with the PA attorney generals office. Buyer beware!N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

Beware of Asurion! This company is notorious for not honoring its warranty obligations and engaging in various fraudulent practices, including warranty fraud, racketeering, and both mail and wire fraud. They're also accused of posting fake positive reviews online to mislead potential customers. I experienced their poor service firsthand with my $18,000 ********** refrigerator when it stopped cooling. Despite paying a monthly premium, getting it repaired was an ordeal.
The trouble began in July 2023 when my fridge malfunctioned. A technician was dispatched, noted that parts were needed, and promised to return with parts to fix the appliance. What ensued was seven months of false promises about ordered parts, accompanied by attempts to push buyouts/payouts ranging from $1,070 to $10,000, instead of repairs. These offers were never honored. Exasperated, I filed a small claims court case and they were served. Remarkably, three days after, Asurion finally ordered the parts. However, when the technician returned, he said Asurion ordered the wrong parts, did not perform any repairs, and damaged my hardwood floor, then disappeared.
During court proceedings, Asurion ignored a subpoena and their method for valuing appliances remained questionable, with erratic buyout offers. The judge highlighted the availability of parts and questioned why repairs weren’t made. Ultimately, the court ruled in my favor, mandating Asurion to pay a significant sum, including interest and legal fees. Despite this, Asurion has disregarded the judgment and continued to mishandle their customer portal, falsely indicating issues with my payment method—denied by my credit card company.
The Asurion case underscores their disregard for customer rights, terms and conditions, and legal obligations. If you’re dealing with Asurion, assert your rights and consider small claims to pursue justice. They put me through **** - for nothing.
With the whole story painful, here's what I have in writing:
1) In writing - Three promises to refund my plan - but no refund ever arrives.
2) In writing - That plans routinely get removed from their system years before the term expires.
Example: A four year "protection" plan gets removed at 2.5 years.
Liars and thieves - as a business model.
Detail:
Laptop keyboard goes bad. I send it to them for replacement - they keep it for a month as they get "parts" (keyboard is next day on ******).
It returns with the old keyboard, food stains and worn keys.
When I complain, they talk me into cancelling my account to get a refund for my plan. Refund never comes, and I no longer have any "protection".
But I learned that the truth lies within the Asurion name. Here's how:
1) Start with the name Asurion
2) Remove the "o" - as they never fulfil an obligation
3) Parse what's left into syllables
4) Reverse the order of the syllables - as their ethics are exactly backwards.

This has been the most frustrating experience ever. I called and made a claim on March 22, 2024. While on the phone they asked me all the questions that they then would ask me to fill out in a form. I filled out the form and was sent back the next day. Two days later was asked for photos. I do not under stand why that was not asked with the form but I then sent them in. Three days later was asked for more photos again submitted photos five days later I did not hear anything from them so I called. I then was asked all the registration information and was told I would be transferred to review. I sat on hold for 5 min and then hung up on. I called back let them know I was hung up on and asked to be transferred to review again was asked for all the registration information then placed on hold again six minutes later was hung up on again. I called back again to go through the process all over. I asked for a direct line phone number and was told they do not have one. Then told that the office was closed. So frustrated I called back the next day I them was finally transferred the guy at the review asked for more photos the same exact ones I had sent several times. I was given a link to upload the site does not allow me to send the photos again. I was told 24 hours I would have my answer. Two days later I call back and was told review is closed and I would have to wait till the next day to talk with someone. I asked if there was a email I could send as I am a three hour different from the review department. There is no email, no direct line and was given just the website which has no way to get in contact with someone. This is three weeks of my child not having his bat which now has missed 9 games on being able to use it. I still have no word. I have done everything on my part and no one wants to help. I have nothing good to say about this experience with Asurion and the **** ********** ***** located at 10 Shore A enue Brooklyn, NY 12235, whi was suppose to service my TV. I have filed a case since Feb 25 for my tv to be repaired and I am still waiting to have my service completed. The back and forth between Asuriom and **** ********** has been a dissatisfying experience and for the sake that no one else experience this DO NOT PURCHHASE ASURION!!!N.E.W. I purchased a service warranty on a product bought at ******* ****** from this company. They gave me the run around for months, hung up on me, and never returned calls. They then finally up and said they had no service providers and were going to refund the pre-tax amount I paid for the product. The product had increased in price since I bought this. And the refund did not cover the taxes. I ended up have to spend over $70 more to replace my product. I will never use them again.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

We have been dealing with being disconnected during phone calls. Being lied to on every occasion that we have called in. They keep prolonging our warranty, We followed every step they have told us to do. Escalation dept was to have our answer on 3/23/24 and yet here again on 3/27/24 we were told we have to wait another 24 hours. They repair they made failed in 10 minutes after repairman left. We just wanted our approx 1400.00 back to go buy a new refrigerator. Mind you we lost money from food lost, also almost the same cost of the refrigerator in lost wages. We have been dealing with this now since 3/10/24 with everything being documented. YET no one is making this right. We also offered pictures to them and they didn't want them. No one seems to help or care. YET Them being a multi million or even billion dollar company. Like the 1400.00 we are asking would brake them.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

On 2/20/2024, I bought a tennis racket from ***** ******** ***** in Colonial Heights, Virginia and bought insurance the store offered. On March 7, the string on my racket broke and I filed an insurance claim with Ausiron.
Asurion instructed me to return the racket to ***** ******** ***** as the racket was less than 30 days old. When I went to ***** ******** *****, they instructed me that they never replace an item under warranty in the store and that I had to call Asurion again.
When I called Asurion, they then informed me they would not replace the racket as it was under 30 days old and this time they instructed me to contact the maker of the racket (****** ******** ******, to have the racket replaced
To date, I have not had my tennis racket replaced and have wasted several minutes discussing this issue with Asurion.
