Terrible company. Customer service is horrible. I've been trying for 3 months to get my ** washer repaired through a warranty that is through asurion. They just try to wear you down and nobody ever gets the job done. Don't ever have anything do do with this company. They should be out of business. They totally stink.

One year after purchasing protection on a $500 ***** business printer, I was experiencing issues with producing color copies and the automatic feeder for copying/scanning. I learned that I could not return the product to the store, but would need to send it to Asurion to be serviced, leaving me without a printer at my place of business while it was being serviced. I secured another printer at my expense, shipped them the product, and they managed to fix 1/2 of the problem. I have now returned the printer to them a total 3 times for not producing clear color copies. Every time they don't find an issue although I am sending them printouts of what the printer is producing each time and even offered to send them video evidence. I was informed that if I sent it back a total of three times, the lemon law would be enforced. They are now telling me that I need to send it back one more time, making a total of four times I have alerted them that there is an issue. I asked what was going to happen when I sent it back the third time, they found no issue, and it comes back to me producing copies that cannot be used at all and I was told emphatically, after the third time, we would buy the product back or refund your purchase. Obviously, Asurion must not have a written policy as though the rules shift every time I call to suit their needs and not mine as a consumer who is clearly experiencing a technical issue with a $500 paperweight with active coverage by Asurion. I know next time I will deal directly with *****, as Asurion coverage is not worth the paper it was printed on.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

I sent my laptop in for repair 3 times for the same problem. After the third time, Asurion returned my laptop and it was so poorly packaged that it was bent in transit and the screen was also broken. As it was clearly beyond repair, I replaced it at a ******* store and they transferred all programs etc. to the new laptop. I sent the old one back to Asurion and enclosed a letter requesting recompense for the total cost of replacement, including the charges by ******* and compensation for the balance of the Asurion insurance term (10 months). My letter was completely ignored and, when I called Asurion, I was told that I would only be compensated for the original purchase price of the damaged laptop, even though the damage was caused by their negligence. (It also took Asurion 3 weeks to determine that the laptop was not repairable!).N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

I filed a claim with Asurion to receive a refund for a baseball bat that I bought from ****** ******** ***** as part of their “No Sweat Protection Plan”. I filed the claim during the coverage period and I was advised by Asurion that they would not refund me the cost of what I paid for the bat per the agreement because it cracked in half and the damage appeared to be “catastrophic”. I then asked the customer service rep at Asurion to show me where in the No Sweat Protection agreement from ****** did it specifically state that I wouldn’t receive a discount if the bat was cracked and they were not able to provide it. This company didn’t comply with the agreement that I signed. Furthermore, the customer sales rep at ****** who explained the plan at the time of purchase ensured me at the time of purchase that if the bat cracked, I would receive a full refund if I purchased the “No Sweat Protection Plan”. I was deceived and lied to and now I’m out $310.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

I ordered a laptop and it never came it was over $100 present for my grandma i contacted customer service and they refused a refund or replacement or anything basically said **** you and disconnected now I'm out of $100 and have no laptop worse experience I've ever had with any companyN.E.W. My entire job is filing warranties with various vendors and particularly awful is Asurion's ***** department.
Start with the online claim form at asurion.com/***** and regardless of the details you provide, the form will inevitably spit you out and recommend that you call the provided number for Asurion/***** customer support. This number is always the one to general support which ends up being the reason behind the first of many redirects that I regularly encounter.
After I tell the operator that the item was purchased at *****, I am directed to ******* support within Asurion. Repeat until I reach ***** support.
Regardless of the nature of the damage, the representative will inevitably tell me that I need to be transferred to technical support who then instructs me to do things along the lines of "turning it off and on again" and "making sure the charger is plugged in," in response to telling them about my laptop's shattered screen.
Once complete, the rep will transfer me to a different rep to ask me all the same questions and, if I'm lucky, file the claim.
Email is received quickly enough promising shipping material and a label. Fast forward 3 week and nothing happens so I call in only to be told they will email a label and the material cost is on me as it's not included. Regardless of what the actual email confirmation says, I don't think their SLA with quill includes this.
My. Experience. Every. Time. Roughly 1-2 dozen times a year. In the 3 years i've done this, I have never once gotten that shipping material.
I have yet to be able to complete any of my dozens of claims without the equivalent experience of pulling out my own teeth. Worst of all, their associates will make many promises and tell you whatever you need to hear only to have nothing come of it. No recourse or accountability, you will just need to call in again and again until one of their reps keep their promise and deliver on the service that you paid for.N.E.W. I have been without a dishwasher since the middle of September with a broken shoulder. It makes it very difficult to hand wash dishes. I've had repair men come out four separate times with no results. The last time they came to service the dishwasher they said it was unrepairable. I was told from the beginning that if Asurion cannot fix it, they would replace it. Now this week, another repair person has called to come out to fix the "unrepairable" dishwasher. I'm at a loss on how to get this issue resolved as they are unhelpful and I am still without a dishwasher. I am unable to get through to anyone in customer service who is able to help me. For the cost of labor and parts they have spent attempting to fix this, they could have just as easily replaced the unit for cheaper. Not a happy customer!N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

Asurion basically refuses to honor the warranty they sold me for a foosball table at *****. After hours and hours of runaround and “IT” issues, internal escalations that they used to give me the runaround for two months. They rejected my claim saying it was cosmetic damage only. Anyone who plays foosball knows if the finish on the poles wears off then it impacts the gameplay. Very unethical, they didn’t even know what a foosball table was and didn’t have it in their system even though they had no problem selling me a warranty… I feel totally scammed by this company. They also do not allow you to talk to the same person when there is an issue so you have to start over every time they don’t follow through on what they say they will do and you have to call back to follow up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I purchased a ** washer/Dryer combo from ***** in 2018 and the dryer has broken down every year since then. Out of frustration I purchased a repair contract with Asurion. Predictably, the dryer broke. It was not drying and I called them. The technician came and took the dryer apart and after one week it broke again. This time emitting a loud banging sound. The tech came and said he had to order parts. It took him a week to order the part so finally the part is here but no one answers the phone to say when next he is coming. This is really frustrating and is very poor customer service. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing the repair contract.

I purchased my headphones two years ago, and I submitted a request to get them fixed this October. I waited five business days for the headphones to arrive at the warehouse, a couple days for them to fix it, and then five more business days for them and sent it back. That’s understandable. The thing that frustrated me is that they didn’t fix the Headphones and it still had the same issue of not holding a charge. So I sent them back again.. waiting more than 10 business and then they sent them back again, this time saying it was DENIED. So I called customer service, and they said to send them back, I waited another 10 business days, and again it said it was denied. So now I’ve gone 30 days without headphones. The customer rep said it was denied because according to them I didn’t send back the same headphones I sent in October, when they were the exact same ones! I had to call **** to get the serial number of the headphones, and told the service rep not to send them back denied so I don’t have to wait 5 business days from them to come and then ship them back, a couple hours later they send them back.. I got the information from **** on the serial number for proof they’re the right ones, but I’m tired of this.. and I’m thinking I’m going to be taking them to small claims, because they did not hold their part of the dealN.E.W.
