McKinley payments sent me a $100 ticket in the mail for a $5/hour parking lot, in which I was parked in for two hours. The gate was up, there was NO pay stand and I was under the impression that the charge would automatically be charged to my Metropolis app which is registered with my vehical's license plate and payment on file.

Out of town and went to dinner with family. Stopped at parking garage due to restaurant immediately beside garage. Garage did not have any visible signage about paying when attempting to park as shown in picture. Received a ticket for unpaid parking fee of $6 and a ticket fee of $70.25 totaling $76.25 the fee is over 10 times the parking fee. I was and am more than willing to pay the parking fee but do not deserve to pay the ticket fee.

I parked in a parking lot in downtown ********* that I've parked at before. Most of the ********* parking lots don't have a ticketing machine that you take a ticket and pay when you leave, or pay for a ticket and put it in the window. The only way to pay is to drive in, scan a ** code and then start a charge and when you leave it charges your card. I did exactly as it said by scanning the ** code and starting the charge, however it must have not scanned my license plate when I left because months later I received a ticket for $100, $30 for the ticket and $70 for violations. Which is a crazy amount. I've tried disputing the charge and they will only dispute with proof of a receipt which I don't have because they never sent anything. I've tried calling to explain that I would like to pay the original $30 parking amount and they won't answer and no one will talk to me about how ridiculous this is.

On August 25, 2022, I had parked at the lot owned by McKinley/Metropolis at ************************************************* in ********* - a location I frequent and park at often without issue. I also park at other Metropolis locations throughout the city. On this day, I was unaware I had not been charged by the technology. It had always worked before. I received a bill for the $6.00 fare plus an additional $70.25 fee, an amount nearly *****% higher than the original charge. I understand paying for my use and would be happy to, but I was not charged due to an error by the company's technology and at no fault of my own. I have asked the company directly do resolve the matter and provided all requested and available material but have not received a fair review.

I entered a parking lot at *************. on 8/6 and was in there for 9minutes according to the bill sent to me by McKinley. The parking fare for those 9 minutes was 40$ and the violation fine is 70.25$. This is not a manned parking lot to pay an attendant, nor does it accept cash. On the violation summary provided by Mckinley, sent to me one month after the "violation", I am to pay a total 110.25$ for 9 MINUTES of parking in a location that only accepts digital payment!. Also on the violation, there is no number FOR Mckinley for whom I can contact and dispute this claim directly with only through a digital portal.

The letter below is the letter I wrote to *************** along with the check. It was total abuse as I stated in the letter.May 26, 2022 *************** ****************************************************************************** Violation number *********** Dear ***************,I received my parking violation for parking at the ****************************** location in *********, **, on March 27, 2022.It is true that I did not pay, not for the lack of trying. I called the number posted on the signage, and the representative that answered was of no help. I asked for someone else, and she said no one else was there. There were no other guests in the lot when I struggled to conquer the digital issue. I kept getting a reply that I was in a rental car and the system would not allow me to go further. I was not in a rental car but a car I own.I admit I owe the unpaid parking fare, but the fine violation amount is obsessive. Please consider having someone that answers your phones to be able to help clients should they need it. The phone rang over 15 rings before the representative answered. If you have cameras, please take a look, and you will see that I stayed there for over 15 minutes trying to pay, and not one person came to the lot during that time. My physical difficulties also made this ordeal challenging. Respectfully,***************************

In September, I received two parking violation notices of $110.25 each, $220.50 total, for alleged violations at 1055 Pine Street Garage on June 11th and June 12th 2022 that were unavoidable. They were unavoidable because the apartment management company that operates 1055 Pine did not immediately provide me a parking garage fob for resident access when I was living there during a corporate relocation assignment. I've tried to dispute the charge and have Metropolis work with the apartment management company to fix the issues with their process, but Metropolis is requesting that I provide my home address which I don't believe is necessary in order to come to a resolution. Frankly, it's just downright sketchy and unnerving that they would need my home address to even consider resolving a billing complaint. I've asked that they give me a call, but they refuse to call.
