      Parking Violation from Premier Parking
Parking lot behind ******* and ****** restaurant.
This business is a scam. Look on the app **** and you will be shocked at the complaints. This does not look good for Nashville to have this business associated with the city for parking. They do not have a reasonable way to pay for parking. They use a barcode that does not work. I have a video of trying to use it. And when you do get a violation, they make it impossible to pay online with a bogus website (www.premier.parkingpayment.net) Then they slap you with additional fees for late payments. I was shocked at the multitude of reviews on **** with the same complaints. I am planning on buying a home and moving to Nashville and am very disappointed with the city allowing this business to continue to scam people for parking violations and additional fines. I have a video of trying to go online to pay and pictures of the parking website that is non-operational but could not load them below. Too big of files.
      Thank you, ***** ********, XXX-XXX-XXXX, *************@aol.com

I received a Notice of Parking Violation from McKinley Payments. The letter stated, "A vehicle registered in your name exited a Premier-managed parking facility without paying the parking charges due at the end of your visit." According to the letter I used the parking facility 6/27/22 which is correct. I entered the parking garage at 8:17 PM and exited at 9:01, parking there for a total of 44 minutes.
When entering and exiting the parking garage, the gates were up or 'opened'. When gates are raised, it means there are no parking fees required at this time. That is what it has meant at every single parking garage that I have ever used. I have never paid fees before when the gates were raised upon entering and exiting. There was no signage informing patrons how to pay.
I emailed ****@mckinleypayments.com to dispute the charge. I received a reply referencing a different violation number than the one I was disputing and being told it was closed. I emailed two more times and each time the response refers to a different violation number and says it is closed. So far violation numbers XXXXXX, XXXXXX, and XXXXXX have been closed and none of these correspond to the violation number I received in the mail.
      The violation details are:
      Unpaid parking fare $13.00
      Violation fine $70.25

Certainly, seems like a scam to me! Leave the gates up, take pictures of the car license plate when and exiting the facility that has no means for payment, then send letters in the mail with exorbitant charges!

We went to park at Ragland Lot. They did not specify on the web or at the site that parking was $40 flat. It said that it would be calculated at the end of our parking which was 2 hours and 16 minutes. At the end of it we were charged $40.99 despite being there only for the time above. We preceded to call and they told us it was event parking despite it not being listed and whether we park for an hour, two, five, or full time it would be charged the same. This was not listed. When we called the help line, she got really staticky when we asked about the prices, and preceded to hang up on us when we were expressing displeasure with the answer.

I don't need a full refund. But an adjustment to 2 hours and 16 minutes worth would be appropriate since nothing was listed that said it was an event parking.

      On Aug. 12, I used
One Nashville Garage and my friend insisted on paying the parking ticket. At the time, nobody had any reason to question their systems, therefore, no reason to believe that the correct ticket wasn't paid for. There seemed to be no issues, no questions asked. Weeks later, I received a bill in the mail from McKinley Payments for a "Parking Violation". It never occurred to me that the ticket wasn't paid for and I thought it was because we were waiting/still for a long time when leaving the garage. I was surprised that it was because the ticket wasn't paid for and that this is the only notice I've gotten that it hadn't been. I went ahead and paid the $96.25 so it wouldn't go to a debt collector and reached out to my friend asking if he did pay for the ticket and to pay me back later. This is where there's an issue, because his response was a screenshot of a receipt showing that he paid for a ticket, but for a different vehicle that their systems charged him for. He paid a ticket that was $5.99 for a license plate (*******) that wasn't mine. According to him, during the payment process, their systems are suppose to recognize the license plate corresponding to the ticket. At this point, I reach out to McKinley Payments to dispute the $96.25 bill they charged me, expressing that their systems charged for the wrong vehicle and emailed them the receipt as proof. They denied my dispute instantly and repeatedly afterwards. They weren't interested in resolving the issue and didn't ask for more information regarding the issue. My request for a refund was denied due to a "non-payment at a private parking facility", ignoring that what they need to refund is the $96.25 bill I paid. Their systems incorrectly charging my friend is not a refusal on my part to pay and should not warrant further charges when the fault is on their end.

I struggle to believe McKinley Payments has a "dedicated support team" when they allowed my ticket through them to go stagnant for their system to then cancel it. This is the only email I've received from them since I've contacted the BBB about this issue.

On August the 3rd I parked in a pay garage at 7400 Fannin Street Houston Tx now managed by Premier Parking. You must use an APP that is to be secured by scanning a QR code posted in the garage. I have an older model flip phone that doesnt scan. I tried to access their posted website repeatedly while at the garage but always timed out due to no connection. After 30 minutes of trying I left and there was no one at the cashier booth.

Several weeks later I got a written notice from McKinley Payments the payment processor for Premier. They demanded the 9.00 parking payment and added a 70.25 penalty.

I have tried to go thru their dispute resolution process at help/McKinley.com and keep getting an auto response the case has been closed with no explanation or resolution. My account still calls for a 79.25 payment. I will pay the 9.00 dollars if they adjust my billing. I will not pay the penalty.

What should I do. I see this type of complaint is common with them.

We entered wrong license plate number by accident on cell phone. Never was charged on credit card because it didn't match other information with credit card. Received bill in mail with a 70 dollar fine for 4 incidents tried to appeal but they just denied request. Seems like a scam to me, probably be hard pressed to return to Nashville!

On July 30, 2022 I parked at a parking lot that apparently uses McKinnley Payments to collect outstanding fares. I paid the posted fare at at a parking meter that was right beside my parking spot. I have uploaded the receipt but no one from McKinnley will address my receipt because I have not obtained it through the metropolis website. I am being charged $24 for parking and $70 for a violation on dispute XXX-XXX-XXX for a fare I believe I paid at the time of parking. McKinnley has attempted to close this dispute without contacting me about anything other than asking for a receipt I have already provided.

I use the Metropolis parking app which automatically starts charging you when you pull into a parking lot. I recently got a new license plate and hadn't updated the license plate saved into the app. So I thought I was paying for the lot during my visit through the metropolis app but since the license plate was not updated I received a violation. I had every intention of paying for the visit and will still happily pay for the parking fee. Ive received 2 parking violations since then, each with $70 violation fees for a $6 and $12 parking fee. I've been trying to reach Mckinley Payments to dispute the violation and explain that this was an accident but they keep closing the dispute saying that there is not enough evidence. There is no human to contact for a live over the phone discussion. The violation fee is excessive w and they are threatening to send the bill to collections if not paid.
