We valet parked our car at this garage while in Nashville. When leaving the valet went and got our car. We never entered the garage. We paid at the valet station outside the garage. Now they are accusing us of not paying with a violation fine. I've read terrible reviews about this garage, and I refuse to pay them anything. Please help. Thanks.Business Response

I received a notice of parking violation from this company when I had already paid the violation. The letter from them arrived two to three months after the original parking violation.
I had paid in full the parking violation a day after the violation itself.
I believe they are relaying on people forgetting if they paid their violation and charging them a second time with an added fee.Business Response

We had gone to a baseball game at ***** Stadium in St. Louis, MO. on 8/05/2022. We entered the parking area & knew it was a $40.00 Fee. When the game was over and we departed the lot, there was no attendant available. We asked other people there and they told us we had to make the payment using an APP on the cell phone. The problem was, I do not have a smartphone, just a inexpensive flip phone & without an attendant from the parking lot being there, we had no choice but to leave. We expected to receive a bill for the parking fee of the $40.00 amount, but McKinley Payments have added on a Violation fee of $70.25, with a threat of turning the non-payment over to a collection agency. Like I said, I am willing to pay the $40.00 parking fee, but not the outrageous violation fee. I tried calling the McKinley company, but you can't speak to a real person. I would like to resolve this problem, but with no one in the parking lot & no one to speak with, makes this impossible. I am not trying to scam anyone, as this company seems to try to do to many people from the complaints I have read. I am going to send the McKinley a dispute notice, but from what I have read, they will not respond. They also want payment by a credit card, which I do not have. I am living on Social Security only & can not afford additional amounts charged. Please help !Business Response

I had to park downtown today for 20 minutes. I found a parking garage I had used earlier in the week that charged $5 an hour. There are no signs in the garage besides a QR code that has you register an account, and you are billed when you leave. As I had already made an account, there was not setup or intervention from my end required. I parked, came back, left in under 30 minutes. I was texted I owed $30.99 for this brief time. They had changed the rates and did not provide clear signage indicating this. When I text support, I received no help or any form of discount to remedy the issue.Business Response

4/24 I entered the garage
I haven't payed any money to date.
There was no ticket to validate the times I entered or exited this garage and there was no way to pay. This is a complete scam. I could not see any physical signs that told me how to pay or where to pay for the spot. I saw a knocked over sign that said "first hour free" which I was only in the garage for 1 hour. I assumed there would be a human taking cash or handing out tickets since there was no gate, however I did not see anyone and assumed it was likely free since it was early on Sunday morning and didnt see any signage indicating otherwise. I then received a bill for $76.25. $6.00 was for the parking and $70.25 in "fines".Business Response

My son was driving my car and parked in a parking deck in Nashville TN. There was not a person there or a kiosk to pay when he came out so he left, not knowing what else to do. Then we got a violation in the mail from McKinley Payments saying we owed $8.00 for the parking and $70.25 for the violation fine. Which is a total rip off. I parked in the garage at 400 Charlotte Ave. Nashville TN XXXXX to attend a concert at Municipal Auditorium on 3-23-22. After fumbling with their machine multiple times for 20+ minutes to get it to take my credit card, my friend and I thought we had it taken care of. This company accuses me of not paying the parking but I didn't realize the payment hadn't been deducted. I was worried about being charged multiple times for parking ... I disputed the violation and stated my case saying I would pay the $25 parking fee but not a $70 violation ( which I think is completely out of line ) and they denied it. I do not want to pay almost $100 for parking which is severely punitive in my opinion. In the future I will avoid any type of parking garage that is managed by Premier that has these very non user friendly machines. I would like this violation to be excused and I will pay the $25 parking fee that they are owed.Business Response

This is in regards to a parking vio0000000lation on July 2, 2022. Violation # XXXXXX. We parked in a public parking lot and the fee was supposed to be $40 for the amount of time that the vehicle was left there. There was s nearby restaurant employee that assisted us by telling us that he could take care of it with his phone. There was no parking attendant so we had no way of knowing how to pay. We received a bill in the mail that there is an additional $70 fee for this fine. I agree the $40 should be paid but not the total amount owed.
