I parked in their 600 12th south facility, and upon exiting the garage, I went to update the license plate to the vehicle, but the App was glitching, and froze, and error messages kept popping up saying "we're sorry. we're unable to complete your request." so I was unable to fix it and left without options to pay the $6 parking fee. I then received a $75 parking violation. I've disputed the ticket due to the faulty app and they continue to deny the dispute without further explanation. I cannot get ahold of anyone.Business Response

7/18/2022
Amount paid $8.00
Business provided paid parking space
Business claimed that I did not pay for parking. I paid when I was existing. A lady who is always at the booth collected the money. I provided $10.00 and she returned $2.00 in change and raised the barrier so that I could exit. They do not provide receipts whether you pay in cash or credit. I would not have been able to exit the parking garage if I hadn't paid.
The business has not tried to resolve the matter.

I have two parking tickets. My license number is ******** The ticket number with the company is XXXXXX. The violation numbers are XXX-XXX-XXX, XXX-XXX-XXX. I park in 400 Charlotte Ave a lot for work. I emailed the company about this because when I renewed my tags, my tag number changed. I drove out without thinking about it. I assumed the payment had been taken out of my bank account, but it had not. The last time I realized it and contacted******** Parking for how to resolve. They told me there was nothing they could do because I had already driven out. There is no way to pay once you have driven out. There should be a way to pay then also. The lady on the phone at******** told me not to worry about the second one because I was in a "no visibility" area whatever that means. In the meantime, I have been charged almost $200.00 for parking violations. This is an undue hardship right now.
The company denied my dispute. I do appreciate their same day response. However, I want to pay the parking fee only since I did follow up with********, they told me not to worry about it, and there is no way to pay once you drive out. I did not deliberately park without paying. They did resolve a third ticket for the same reason which I appreciate but don't understand why they did not adjust the other two. I have since corrected my license number.Business Response

I parked in metropolis lot on July 20, 2022. I used the metropolis QR scan and received response that my cc would be billed upon leaving the lot. I was billed for this service, and it processed the following day on July 21, 2022. August 19, 2022 I received a "violation" notice and threat to turn this over to a third-party collection service. I have clearly paid what Metropolis submitted to my CC company and Premier is falsely attempting to collect a second time and include penalties.Business Response

We were visiting the restaurant district of 12 South in Nashville while on our honeymoon. We drove through the district a couple of times and found a parking lot marked Public Parking. The lot was very dimly lit, but clearly said public parking. We did not see any signs stating there was a fee for parking. We spent over $100.00 in two establishments. When we came out, there was a parking ticket for $58.00!! WOW!! I lived in Chicago for over 15 years and never in my life saw anything like that. This is how Nashville treats its visitors? I spend money in your establishments, then get a $58 parking ticket? The time on the ticket was just a few minutes after we exited our vehicle - and again, nothing saying this was paid parking. The company is haha...ParkHappy LLC. The ticket is XXX-XXX-XXX issued 8/20/22 at 9:44 pm to a White Buick ******** ***** We feel this is a parking scam and want this ticket expunged.Business Response

I went to a Dr's visit at a location in the medical center in Houston, Texas. I parked in the parking garage which did not require a ticket to get in nor allow payment at the machine to get out. This was on 7/19/2022. Fast forward, less than a month later I receive a bill for my parking fee of $7 and a $70 fine. This is parking that only allows you to download an app and pay. The signage is not clear nor are the parking fees. If there is a fee why not have a way to pay upon exiting or clear signage that a bill plus fine will be mailed. This process is very predatory and unfair. Reading the other complaints, I see that I am not alone. I reached out to McKinley payments via their online request form to request a dispute for the fine. What seems to be an automated system emailed me saying my request was denied. There appears to be no way to get a hold of this company by phone to speak to a live representative. I was in the garage for 36minutes only. This company should at least send a warning letter to visitors as opposed to trying to take advantage of people who are seeking some sort of medical attention. I am extremely appalled at the lack of professionalism exhibited by this company and will complain to the building management company until something is done. For elderly visitors most of which do not know how to download apps to pay a parking fee... if you're going to enforce such unfair violations you need to have clear signage and enforced payment upon exiting. Extremely disappointed!Business Response

Parking violation date 4/2/2022; parking violation bill arrived 6/4/22; Violation number XXX-XXX-XXX. Parking facility located at 1333 S. Congress Ave., Austin TX. Sign says Visitor Parking. There is no attendant, no credit card pay box, no parking meters. Appeared to be free because pay parking signage is not clearly marked.
Our son on the autism spectrum, who was using my car, entered the lot on 4/2/2022 at 1:21 pm and exited lot at 1:47 pm. He did not leave the vehicle; he did not turn off his vehicle. He thought it was a free parking lot and pulled into the lot to pick up a friend from work who works at a retail store right next to the lot. We did not receive the parking violation bill until 6/4/22. That day, we emailed McKinley Payments. Their sight instructed us not to pay the violation until they evaluated the claim/dispute. It has been almost three months, and McKinley Payments has not responded; however, on 8/8/22, we received another copy of the bill from McKinley Payments.
I'm hoping for some compassion here. Life is difficult enough for a child on the spectrum, but especially when things are not clearly marked/communicated, and to receive a bill two months later is unacceptable. We are fine to pay the $10.00 unpaid parking fare, but not the $70.25 violation fee. We request that they remove the violation fine, and communicate with us by email or phone. Thank you for your assistance.Business Response

I clicked no because the very reason we contacted the BBB was we had already contacted McKinley Payments about this. We received an email back from McKinley Payments saying they would contact us with a human response at "the earliest possibility." However, we never heard from them. That was at the beginning of June. I have attached a copy of that email.

I've searched my email, including the spam folder. I also verified that my email listed on the complaint is correct. I did not receive an email on 9/1 from McKinley Payments. I did receive an automated email on 9/5 saying the ticket had been closed. I replied that the ticket was closed prematurely because McKinley Payments has still never contacted me to resolve this issue. If the 9/1 email was meant to resolve this issue, please send the email again because I never received it. Thank you
Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2022/09/13) */
The team has followed up with you directly via email. Please do let us know if you have trouble receiving it. Thank you.
Consumer Response /* (3000, 25, 2022/09/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The email we received simply denied the dispute and did nothing to resolve the issue. We will continue to complain through the Better Business Bureau. The last email we received was ambiguous. We have stated we will pay the $10.00 parking fee, but we will not pay the $70.25 violation because the parking lot does not have adequate signage and appears to be a free parking lot.
If you would like payment from us for the $10.00 parking fee, please adjust our account balance so we can pay it on your processing portal.
We expect a response soon. This has been an ongoing problem since June 2022.

I cannot get Mckinley to respond and waive the correct violations for my next door neighbor who's 85 and does not have email or the no how to navigate this predatory system even if she did have an email.
Violations #: XXX-XXX-XXX & XXX-XXX-XXX need to be waived and no one responds to the 10 voicemails I've left and no one is responding to the five emails I've sent. The signage in the parking lot has graffiti on it and the parking lot is bigger than than three football fields, so it's impossible to tell where to pay despite the fact that we didn't even exit her vehicle when I went with her downtown to meet someone on ********** to sell some items on three separate occasions. We were also told by the parking lot attendant at the homeless shelter that we could wait in this parking lot.
It can not be legal to strongarm people almost $100 without giving them an opportunity to pay by mail, but instead unjustifiably sending payments to collections agencies and affecting their financial health because they were waiting in their car with the transmission in drive and the engine running. We didn't even get out of the car let alone have any reason to put the vehicle in park and walk away from the parking lot. In addition, we entered the parking lot on the opposite side of where we were supposed to pay and it's virtually impossible to to see where to pay without exiting your vehicle. I have a visual processing disorder that gives me symptoms similar to dyslexia and my next door neighbor was like five when world war ll ended, so her eyesight is less good. I'm writing this right now with transcription software that helps me ensure I'm not sending folks cryptic messages and have learned to drive by memorizing the shapes and colors of the roadsides in California, not in Texas. I NEVER have any issues like this in addition to having obtained a 100% score on my driver's license exam 12 years ago since I had to wait until I was 22. *****@********e.com-*******.XXXX XXX.***.****Business Response

I received a parking violation at a parking ramp in TN while there in a short weekend visit. It was an unattended lot with lack of information on how it works to make payment. I received ticket in the mail $12 for parking $70 fees. (First notice) No late fees included in this. 5x the actual charge in fees - outrageous. I contacted ******* parking, they referred me to McKinley payments. I contacted them to request a reduction in fees citing lack of instruction/clear signage on how to make payment. After a little research I am not the only one faced with this. I received a quick response from McKinley your dispute is denied and cannot be appealed. The **** has placed regulations in Junk Fees in certain industries - I believe this need review - can you assist?Business Response
