I have received a second notice for a parking violation from McKinleyPayments.com that is bogus, as parking was paid in full, with cash, on the date in question (4/14/22). I did not bring a credit card with me, nor was I made aware by anyone I needed to, in order to have blood drawn by ******* the date in question. The parking attendant gave me a receipt for my $7 parking fee. I've submitted that exact receipt (attached here), and all supporting documents through their online system on both 4/20/22 and 8/02/22, to only receive a notice that the once $7 fee has now skyrocket to $77, and I will be "turned over to collections" if I don't remit payment. This company seems to have some pretty consistent nefarious practices to say the least. I also called the company today (XXX-XXX-XXXX), and left them a message regarding the documentation I've provided to them from day one through their online system. I also notified them I would be contacting the BBB to file a complaint, and that if I'm turned over to collections I will be moving forward with legal action on behalf of myself and anyone else who might have had this same experience. This is unlawful and this business should be prosecuted - period.Business Response

I was looking for free parking near 6th and Peabody, in Nashville, so that i could sit in my car and wait on a friend. I had no intentions of even leaving my car in the first place, so i didnt feel like going to a pay lot. I thought i had found a free one, so i pulled in to an ungated area. By the time i had driven part of the way around, i realized that i must in a pay lot, so i looked around to see if there was signage. I had to get out of my car inside this lot and walk up to a small sign in the middle of the out-section, to finally find a small sign, that didnt give clear instructions, and required an app that wouldnt download.
This incident occured on 5/4/22 and i was originally charged $8, but this outrageous parking fine is $70??? I disputed it, and was told to redo it a second time, and now the second time they outright deny the supposed disputeBusiness Response

I have my listed on a car sharing app, my vehicle was used on both days of the violation. I have tried contacting the guest that used the car incurring those charges and to no avail. I have tried contacting the business to explain the issue but was helpful and no phone number to contact them. Now mind you i got TWO different violation totaling over $157.50 for less that 3 hours of parking for both violation. I am willing to pay the parking ticket but the violation fine is ridiculous for a combination of $17 of parking i have to pay $140.50 worth of fee. Please help as i am currently unemployed and a full time student and can't afford this payment.

We received a parking violation bill from McKinley Payments several months ago. We already paid this parking fee on the actual day we parked in the parking structure and I have sent McKinley proof of payment via my credit card statement. I just received another violation bill in the mail requesting payment. There is a phone number to call but it is an automated message indicated to file a dispute online which I've already done twice. I have received no phone call or email from this company...only notices of a parking violation which was paid months and months ago. I would like the company to contact me and clear this charge as it's already been paid and stop sending me violation notices. See uploaded document with ******* ******* charge and paid.Business Response

On 4/21/22 I parked in a garage at 1055 Pine Street in Nashville for 1 hour and 35 minutes. Upon entering the garage there was NO entry gate, NO attendant, and NO signage indicating the was a "pay for park" garage. I immediately located an empty spot on the ground level and exited the garage through the ramp I entered on. I am a handicapped individual and was happy I could exit on street level and not have to navigate any stairs. I did see a kiosk or any signage indicating payment was required or where a kiosk was located. My parking fee is $6.00 PLUS a $70.25 Violation fee. This fee is excessive and ridiculous. I am willing to pay the parking fee of $6.00 and possibly an additional $10 fee for collection expenses, but feel the $70.25 is excessive and not warranted for a 1 hour and 34 minute stay in the garage.Business Response

Back in April I was in Houston for work and stayed at the ******** Hotel in downtown so I had to valet my car. For whatever reason I got a fine for not paying for parking between 3-6am. I called them but their phone number doesn't allow anyone to speak with them. So I emailed them and never heard back from them. Today I got a final notice. I've called the hotel twice now to get this resolved but would imagine they are having the same issue as I am. I refuse to get credit score issues for something that I didn't do and have absolutely no possible way of speaking to someone. What company doesn't have customer service?Business Response

On 4/12/2022 my husband and I parked in a pay for lot for a ********* ballgame in St Louis Mo. I entered my credit card information at the kiosk in lot and I thought payment of 35.00 had been processed. I received a notice on from McKinley payments on June 13th based in Nashville TN that I owed the parking fee plus a 70.00 fine. I emailed company as there is no phone contact available. I was emailed my concerns were noted and to do nothing regarding fine until I was contacted in person by company representative. I have revived no call and now got another notice by mail that I still owe fee and fine. Can someone assist me in contacting this company to resolve this, I do not mind to pay parking fee but feel like fine and delays in notification of invalid payment attempt was unwarranted. I called a customer service number but you can not leave a message and they want you to use email for communication.Business Response

This is a parking lot for a restaurant/grocery store in Austin, TX. It is open to the public and does not require ticket or gate access. There is no attendant booth or any signs of the sort that indicate the parking must be paid for. After a hour for lunch, I left the lot as with any FREE parking garage in the city.
THREE months later, I receive a letter stating that since I didn't pay the $12 parking fee, they are also charging me a VIOLATION fee of $70. Now, they expect me to pay $82?? Is this for real? What kind of scam is this??
The sent a letter to customer service after I received the letter to voice my complaint and it took them TWO months to respond. I was apparently denied (as they stated it) and another bill was sent.
I'm now considering legal action against this company. I'll pay the parking fee, but not the violation fine.Business Response
