On 4/12/2022 my husband and I parked in a pay for lot for a ********* ballgame in St Louis Mo. I entered my credit card information at the kiosk in lot and I thought payment of 35.00 had been processed. I received a notice on from McKinley payments on June 13th based in Nashville TN that I owed the parking fee plus a 70.00 fine. I emailed company as there is no phone contact available. I was emailed my concerns were noted and to do nothing regarding fine until I was contacted in person by company representative. I have revived no call and now got another notice by mail that I still owe fee and fine. Can someone assist me in contacting this company to resolve this, I do not mind to pay parking fee but feel like fine and delays in notification of invalid payment attempt was unwarranted. I called a customer service number but you can not leave a message and they want you to use email for communication.

I received a letter with 2 parking ticket violations Saturday. They were both as far back as March 15th & March 19th.
Every since these new system was installed, they are no clear ways to pay.
My niece was in the car with me on one occasion & when I was pulling in she put my card info in.
To my knowledge, I thought every time I pulled into one of these lots, they were charging me.
I never received a text, email, or any method that I owed this. I thought it charged me automatically.
I even spoke to someone at ******* Parking and she stated that some of the lots are not marked.
I don't have a problem paying the 8.00 per ticket, I do however feel the violation fee is unjust.
      Please get back to me.
      The other violation # is
      XXXXXXXXX

I want to dispute the violation fees.
      Thank you

I received another notice in the mail. No one has contacted me. This is a racket.
I'll pay the parking ticket, but 70.00 per ticket is ridiculous. Can a human contact me to get this resolved??
They sent these 2 months after the fact.

I received an email from them 5-31-22 stating no further action on my part until I hear from a human.
In July they sent an email saying my disbute was denied, then a few days later they sent an email that if I felt the ticket was closed prematurely please reply to this email to create a follow-up ticket or email. I'm still waiting for a human to contact me.
I received an email yesterday that they needed we may best assist you, please provide the date and location of your visit as well as your license plate number. If you have any additional information that you'd like to share, feel free to reply to this email.
We may not have asked for your name or email during sign-up. Can you please reply with your phone number so we can locate you in the system and assist.
I'm just wanting to speak to a human!! Like they said I will send you a copy of the email.
I'm so frustrated at this point. They had all my info, the mailed me the tickets. Thanks for all your help. What does that mean the dispute has been closed? The dispute and not the fee?

I entered this parking garage to go to the doctor to get help for an illness with no ticket required to take and no signs visible indicating a payment was required. When I left the gate arm opened up automatically and the person standing with a clipboard did not say anything as I drove away. This is a scam to get 80 dollars per car.

I paid to park in their lot and mis-typed the license plate number because the plate was dirty. I was immediately issued a ticket and raised a dispute with the vendor via their online form. Over a month later I still haven't heard back and was issued an increased ticket amount. I tried to call them today to work through the issue but was told the only way I can contact them is via the online form (which again, they don't respond to). At this point I am stuck and unable to get help. I tried opening another request via the form to see if they'll respond. I want the ticket nullified since I have a receipt where I paid and just entered the wrong plate number.

I parked at St. David's Church in Austin, TX. McKinley Parking has QR signs that talk about scanning them as a first time parker. I did that the first time, but figured on a subsequent visit, that the company had my information, and would tag me on the way out, so I did not scan the QR code. Boy, was I wrong. They did tag me on the way out, with an $80 ticket (8 X the cost of the $10 it costs to park there). There are no attendants onsite to ask questions, and their signs are not clear, and do not offer enough information. I got the ticket in the mail, months later, and appealed it. As others have stated on here, they will deny your appeal, everytime. Do NOT park on any of their properties. They do not seem to use unfair business practices, hence their F rating on this site.

A parking company named McKinley is charging me a parking violation for there faulty system trying to collect $80. The issue happened May 17th at 6:11pm. When I was leaving the lot, I tried to complete the transaction before pulling out. Here is where things got confusing with there system. Was my payment info already inputted or was the authorization made upon exiting. They would not give a clear answer on this. I was contacted by them June 7th or 8th nearly a month later by mail of a penalty. I replied June 8th trying to explain and clarify what happened and even ask them how there setup was supposed to work. July 27th was when they finally replied denying my dispute without any explanation. I did tell them (**** ******* in the email that I would report this since they are just wanting to collect free money clearly without any explanation.

I parked my vehicle in the 1033 Demonbreun Street garage on April 7, 2022 which is managed by ********** parking who contracts with McKinley Payments. There are no parking attendants and everything is handled by an app. I followed all of the posted instructions and assumed the payment would be processed as I had the app and followed instructions.

For reasons unknown to me, the parking of $18 was never deducted from my account and I received a violation summary from McKinley for the $18 and a $70.25 fine. I immediately filed a complaint, didn't hear anything for 3 weeks, filed a second complaint along with an email. Finally after over a month I received a denial on my dispute. I explained again that I followed up the instructions but payment wasn't made due to no fault of my own. I can't control an automated system and shouldn't be held accountable when it didn't work as intended.

There is no way of contacting McKinley and speaking to someone and they refuse to acknowledge there was a glitch beyond my control and expects customers to pay $70.25 in fines when their system didn't work. I paid the fine and parking fee to ensure they did not turn over to collections but this is shady business practices and I want my $70.25 refunded to me.

I have attached the parking fine letter, a picture of the app clearly showing my truck was setup in the app and the email where they denied my dispute.

On April 20, 2022, I parked in this parking garage. My husband and I tried to sign in but had trouble and couldn't find anyone to help. When we were leaving we had my son, who was in another car, try to get my phone to work. We thought he had it completed. So we drove off. Then months later we received a bill for the $25.00 parking fee, which I have no problem with because I owe it. But they added a violation fee of $70.25. I went through their customer service, and they finally sent me a notice saying my request was denied, pay it all. No reason why. So I go to BBB and I see they make a habit of doing this to their customers. Please help me!!! I can't even go on and pay the $25.00, they will only accept the $95.25. I can't pay for it. It's not right! Thanks for your help.

On June 21, 2022 I parked in the Mckinley Parking Facility at 1055 Pine Street Nashville, TN 37203. I parked in a handicapped space, because I'm handicapped, and had my handicap tag displayed. I was 2 minutes over the allotted time of one hour, If they have a picture of my car I'm sure they also have a picture of me, moving very slowly. I have not paid the $76.25 ticket yet, the last day to pay is 8/11/2022. That is a ridiculous amount for 2 minutes over. I am elderly, on a fixed income, and really can't afford this. I would like for this to be cleared. Thank you for your help.

I indeed parked in this garage at 1055 Pine Street, followed the instructions to register my car using a mobile device, included payment information. My understanding was that upon exit, I'd be charged for the duration of my stay. I would expect your website/app could verify I indeed set this up, and there's likely video footage of me staring at the sign while in the garage to do this on my phone. I was never charged, and cannot explain the tech failure. I'm happy to pay the unpaid parking fare, although cannot justify the violation for the technology not registering my departure or processing my payment. Please waive the violation fine and I'll pay the $8.00.

However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
