      I received a collection notice on 8/1/2023 re: a "parking violation" from 5/19/2023 at the parking garage outside of **** in ********* **. I was not aware of this "violation" until the collection notice was received in the mail months later. I have attempted to contact the business to explain that we paid for the parking through text message (their system) and then the parking was validated through our visit at ****. I have been told that I have to provide proof, but since it was done through text (which had since been deleted) and the parking was validated, I have no proof as it would not have hit our bank statement. When I called the company they stated that they don't have any reference of us parking within any of their parking lots, although we have done so several times. I have called and sent multiple emails to ********************** but have not had a response. I do not feel that I should be held liable for a ticket that was never issued on my car or through mail from this company, and was just turned over to an outside collection agency many months after, not allowing me to refute the "violation" in a timely manner.       I received a letter about a parking violation at *********** (violation number: ****************) well over a month after is happened. The violation was supposedly dated 11/10/23 but I didn't receive the violation notice until 12/21/23 and I have proof of this. The violation states that I overstayed by 6 minutes, but my wife and I stayed in our car for well over 20 minutes while at the parking lot. If this were metered parking and a cop was coming to give us a ticket, he/she would have seen that we were still in our vehicle and not issue a ticket. Because so much time has passed, there's no way for me to dispute the claim on SP+'s website,

      The parking lot uses license plate cameras at the entry and exit. We are not able to verify if you were sitting in your car for 20 minutes or not as we can only see when the vehicle enters and exits the lot. As a customer courtesy we have voided the violation and no further action is required. Thank you

      SP+ Corporation has twice sent me collections notices prior to any notice of an alleged parking violation. These alleged violations are inaccurate. The first one arose from the ** code validation not functioning. The second one (attached photo) is not even time stamped at a lot that, when I visit on weekends, is generally running free parking. I would contest these issues myself, but the parking violation website does not have an accessible dispute option.

      After reviewing the violations both are valid. The ** code failure had over 36 transactions the day the ** code was allegedly not working including during the time of the violation. The second violation where the customer states there is 'free **********************" is not free parking and allows customers the first two hours free but requires payment beyond that. The customer registered for the two free hours then proceeded to park for nearly three hours and did not extend his parking session and as a result did not pay accordingly which is why a violation was issued.

      I stayed a night on 11/11/23 at a hotel whose parking lot was managed by SPPlus. When I checked in, I paid for parking which was prorated to the ~17 hours of my anticipated stay, which amounted to $50.50. I was informed by the hotel that I would be able to come in and out after paying. On my payment receipt, under parking instructions, it said that there were NONE. Two months later, I get a parking violation notice from SPPlus stating that payment was required upon each entry to the parking lot, despite paying for nearly 17 hours during my initial entry, citing an ADDITIONAL violation fee of $110.50. They do not provide any mechanism to contact them or dispute this. In total, I've had to pay $161.00 for one night's stay in their unattended parking lot. I strongly feel that this is a shady business practice from the perspective of a customer that was just following the directions that was given to them.

      I entered the ******************** parking garage and after parking on the 4th floor I waited 10 minutes for the elevator. It never came so I decided to **************. I pressed the button to exit but was told that they could not open gate for me. In order to exit, I had to still pay There was no notice of broken elevators.

      My family and I walked to a restaurant from a nearby hotel we were staying at and I realized I left my credit card. The next dayI called to let them know we were on our way. I parked as my daughter ran into the restaurant to get my card. I was not even parked 2 minutes and we departed. I never received a proper parking ticket but yesterday received a letter from a collections agency for $67.50. Getting a hold of the company is quite difficult, and there states on their site you can dispute by clicking on the right side. But, there is nothing to click on the right side. I tried calling SP Plus, your on hold for awhile then phone disconnects. I really would like to dispute these charges as they are truly unjust.

      12/31/2023- Wife works at Chateau Marriot next door and was forced by LVMPD to park in the listed spot as there was a barricade emergency taking place. I have tried to make contact with the parking company but no response.

      The parking lot across the alley from ******************************** in ********* has always been free. I've been parking there for 21 years. On November 11 I parked there for about 10 minutes while I ran into Ekiben to pick up my food order. As you can see in my screenshot and in the middle photo of the violation the sign clearly says Public Parking. I entered the alley from the east and no other signage was visible.

      Thank you for reaching out regarding the ****************** lot. This lot has been a paid lot since October 2022. There are several signs posted throughout the lot with QR codes on them as well as a pay machine as you enter the lot. We are a public parking lot as we are not restricted or reserved however it is not Free Public Parking. We show that the vehicle was on the lot for 36 mins. As a courtesy we have voided this violation.

      SP Plus Parking has shown up on our credit card statement twice this year. First with a $32 charge, then later with a $105.98 charge. This is not okay. We are more than willing to pay a parking fee, but this is ridiculous. There is little to no information about how to pay or the rates. When the ** code was scanned a bunch of ads popped up. It was unclear if payment had been made or not! We have had to cancel both of our credit cards this year due to other fraudulent charges that occurred after scanning the ** code and entering our credit card information. We suspect the two related. We demand refunds (minus the original appropriate amount that would have been charged for the parking lot).
