I parked my car in The Gallery One *************** and used the Valet parking. When I am ready to leave the hand me keys for a different car, I asked for my keys and explained which is my car and they said to wait, for several hours I was waiting for a key that never appeared. The manager stated he will help me but in case to get a new one had to pay for the key because Cadillac had to order it first. They offered me Locksmith which I did not accept because its a Cadillac key with a fob that new is over $600.They left the hotel after months to try to get this resolved I called the manager today and instead of explaining to me he blocked my phone when he saw my text.I have the report when it was lost and also the Cadillac Quote. I need them to pay for my new key and hope to get this resolved amicably.Business Response

This incident was not escalated to us until we received your email regarding the BBB complaint. I am rejecting this response because:
I called him several times, he called me twice and I was on the other line, called back and goes to VM. I sent him texts also send him the quote from Cadillac and the incident report.i truly would like this resolved as soon as possible as I have waited for so long, first for the manager they had and now with this.
I could pay and get reimbursed BUT I think the easiest and fastest way is for him to call Cadillac with the quote I sent him and have it done.
It is so unfortunate that this has been this way, when the only thing I did is use their service trusting that my vehicle was taken care.
Please help me resolve this before the end of the year, he only has to make a phone call and pay and dont delay it more.
I appreciate all the help you can give me with this issue.

On 10/28/23, I arrived at OneCity, for Pups and Pints event. First time attending at this venue. I approached another person parking to find out how it is done. She told me and I attempted to use my camera to capture the code, but no signal in underground parking made it impossible. I then went upstairs to the event and asked a security guard. He said OneCity said no one had to pay that day that was attending Pups and Pints. I've been to the SPPLUS website. There is nowhere for me to dispute this. I want this citation removed, I actually did nothing wrong. Followed what the security guard told me. Violation number ****************. I was given a parking violation ticket with this company on 10/11/023, while there website was not working. I have proof of validation for the parking spot and file a dispute with the company on 10/11/2023. However, I have not heard anything from the company since filing the dispute and I am now outside of their 45 day range. According to SPPLUS I allegedly wrongfully parked my car in one of their parking lots on 09/09/23. A Parking Violation Notice was issued 10/26/23 but I didn't get the letter until a week or two later. Additionally I did in fact pay the parking meter through the link. I have bank proof of the debited amount. I am not given an option to dispute the violation since now it is over 7 days issued. It is also extremely hard to contact someone here as it seems there is no formal structure to handle customer calls. I do not feel this is appropriate and would like an adjustment to the "violation" if not fully forgiven.Customer Answer

After reviewing the violation that was issued, it does appear that this violation was issued correctly. We do show that you purchased 2 hours of parking when you arrived at the location at approximately 3:24 pm. However, we also show that you left the location just over 3 hours later. The violation that was issued was for staying past the amount of time that you paid for. Attached is a screen shot of your payment record and the time that you paid for.

No response still Oct 27, 2023.Large sign says PUBLIC PARKING, so didn't look for pay requirements. Other pay parking lots had attendants for collections, no one around. Did not see self service or kiosk identified location. ********* web site does not list *********************************** in the Paid Parking Information fact sheet, or a spp plus related parking lot or location of kiosk. Shouldn't be able to call it Public Parking in one part of the web site and Paid Public Parking in another part. In definition if I am part of the general public, the sign says public parking and does not say "PAID", this means free. City turned it over to a third party removing "public" concern. ****** Lot has three entrances and we have our permanent sign on each entrance as the attached .
Our signs showed the dates, hours of operations, also the parking lot has 3 Kiosks (Pay Stations) and also a parking.com app with multiple signs inside the parking lot for ease of use to pay for parking .
The public parking sign means it is open to the public but you have to follow the signs .

I am rejecting this response because:
Interpretation of Public Parking and Paid Public Parking is quite significant. The signs that I saw said Public Parking. I am a member of the public. No; if, and or but, about the third party desired meaning of Public Parking, without the word Paid. There could be 3 or 5 entrances, but we entered by one and exited by the same one. (the quickest route to and from the festival). Again, no attendant was around while we were looking for a place to park, but low and behold, we found one very busy lot attendant writing Spp Plus citations slightly before the festival was finished for the evening. In my view, Spp Plus can't have it both ways. People who live in the area may be familiar with the cities third party arrangement and except a reasoning behind it. The city got out of the paid parking problems for a reason, unknown, and leaving citizen or visitors concerns with little rebuttal or representation. We later visited the parking lot. Removing the foliage and more in a large area around the kiosk, that we passed by, might bring attention to any common member of the public. Remove the signs that can be interpreted differently. The kind of revenue from Spp Plus citations was evident in the apparent hustle of the attendant of accumulating the citations at that particular time of night, just before the end of the festival. Please review your initial reply and hear this appeal to remove this citation. Thank you.

He disputed it on 10/6/2023 , and it was upheld after we reviewed it on Oct, 7 2023 .
****** Lot has 3 entrances, each entrance has a sign that shows the hours of operation and also NO FREE PARKING DURING THE POSTED HOURS .
Attached the signs on all the entrance, and also ****** lot have 3 pay stations and mutable signs for how to use the phone for payment
********* Parking is free during the week from Mon to Thu and paid parking starts Fri, Sat, and Sun + holidays and special events during the paid parking season that start from Mar to the end of Oct each year .
Public parking means it is open to the public but you have to follow the sign .

I am rejecting this response because: To begin with, in the first comment from the business concerned, reviewing my dispute of 10/06/23 and on 10/07/23 upheld the review? They upheld the dispute or their review, never got that feedback before. Next they are giving the lot at *****************, a name "****** lot". Just a confusion factor.Finally, the list of do's and don't discussed in their response is a lot to remember. Paid season March to October but not on Monday to Thursday, except on Friday, Saturday or Sunday + holidays and special events. Do we have to pay during holidays and special events in September to February. This is also confusing.
The day/evening we used the parking lot, we did not have a conscious effort to not pay. We arrived from out of town, found a place to park and raced to the music at the festival. The only thing I noticed was a Public Parking sign, nothing else on it. When we returned to the car, the lot attendant was very busy writing parking violations. We will never park in one of these kiosk, city vendor, facilitated parking again. We will seek out - independent, mom and pop parking and will spread the word. The negative reviews on this company is international.

Hello,I received a parking violation fine for parking in the ************ parking lot on 7/29/2023. I did park in this lot, however parking at ************ is and has always been free for customers (see attached parking policy).I parked for 5 to 10 minutes while my wife and I made a quick purchase at ************ (see attached credit card bill showing our purchase). We went directly to and from ************, and nowhere else. I am sure the timestamps on the parking lot photos would confirm we would not have had time to go anywhere else.SP Plus has a website for paying parking violations. The notice and website both say I can dispute the violation on the website, but there is no contact info or anywhere on the website to file a dispute. We are very sorry you received a citation at the ************ Lot in error. We developed this program to ensure we have spaces to park for valued guests such as yourself while curbing abuse from non customers. This lot gets abused constantly from door dashers and patrons from nearby establishments. This program requires you to give your license plate number to an associate inside the establishment. We try to warn you via signage throughout the lot, and the employees inside are supposed to engage with each patron, but sometimes they get busy and this happens.
We will certainly void this citation right away. You won't receive any charge. Moving forward, simply give your license plate number to an employee inside and that this all you need to do.
We are very sorry for the troubles and we will void your ticket. Please reach out to ******************************************* if you need anything else. Thank you.
