SP+ Valet at *************** International Airport was involved in an accident in my vehicle. The valet attendant was at fault. The vehicle was not able to be driven after the accident. I waited over 2 hours and SP+ refused to provide towing service or provide me a ride home. After the vehicle was finally towed, SP+ via their insurance provider ************** mishandled the claim and my insurance company had to process the claim. To this date they have not provided any compensation for value lost or my time handling the claim and extra expenses incurred due to their valet attendant crashing my vehicle. Nor did anyone at SP+ ever reach out to check if everything was ok or apologize. Very poor experience.Business Response

The company paid for the damages to the vehicle and a rental during the period in which his vehicle was in the repair shop. A claim was then filed for diminished value, and the amount the company offered was rejected. Proof of a loss in value was never provided and subsequently the complainant engaged legal representation. I started parking with this company on May 26,2023 with a monthly contract. On June 21,2023 I had boot put on my car, I had to pay ****** dollars to remove the boot. According to the boot company I did not have a contract. On June 21 I emailed the company due to the fact that I did have a contract. I sent an email and thru several emails it came through that I had been parking in the wrong lot. I was shocked and was not aware that apparently I chosen the wrong address when I set up the contract. I was corresponding with *************************. When I asked if they could understand that it was seriously a mistake and I really did believe I had picked the correct lot. In the end they agreed to refund me the ******. Since June 21 I have sent several emails asking when I could receive the refund. To this day I have not received nor has anyone addressed this is with me. I have all the emails concerning this and stating they would refund my money. This charge was on my credit card.Business Response

I was incorrectly billed and falsely accused of not paying for the parking ********* was there for a few hours for a concert in ************ ** on May 19th. Time says exactly 18:26 I arrived at the gate and was asked for a QR code, I said I didn't have that on my phone. The person at the gate said I could pay cash, so I did, I believe it was $15. He asked me to pull up a little and take a pictuce of my license plate, I believe I was given a slip to put on my dashboard too. I thought everything would be fine until I received a bill for $61. 4 times the amount of the price for parking! I filed a dispute and talked to someone on the phone, but later recieved an email that I still have to pay.I want to see the video evidence that I didn't pay. Isn't there video footage of the front gate and the person working there? How do I know they didn't just pocket my money or failed to take a correct picture of my license plate? How is it possible I could be accused of just driving right in without being stopped at all??This seems like a scam to me, and to pretty much pay $76 for 4 hours of parking is ridiculous and absurd.Violation # is ****************Business Response

This company issued me a ticket for $42. Their app was malfunctioning and stated no payment was due, and would not allow me to remit payment. ****** Lot has three kiosks for payment + Parking.com app .
The violation disputed on 6/19/2023 at 12:03 Pm, after we reviewed it was upheld on 6/19/2023 at 12:53pm
If the app didn't work with him for some reason, they still have an alternative and easy option with the 3 Kiosks in this lot, he can use any of those .
Also there were a lot of app transactions on that date without any notice or complaint that the app was not working

I parked in the **** vine st sp+ parking lot on 6/10 and paid for 24 hours of parking. I did not print a receipt but do have evidence of my payment via my bank statement. I submitted said evidence and the business denied my dispute and is requesting the full fine payment amount. I am not sure I entered one number in error for my license plate but this car is in my name , they have cameras which can determine I parked and paid in the lot. And there is also record in their system of my payment even if the license plate number was entered incorrectly. I want this claim to be dropped as I paid for my session.Customer Answer

This is regarding violation ****************. My son drove our car to ****** and may have parked at the parking lot 920 **************** for maybe two hours. He didnt see the parking lot needs to pay and didnt receive any parking ticket. Now I received a debt collection letter and asks me to pay for $50, which is far more than the parking price for 2 hours about $10. We will certainly pay the parking if the charge is reasonable. After reviewing your citation, our records indicate that you were at the location adjacent to the ********************* beyond the 15 minute free period. We use license plate enforcement, and we do not have a record of payment for your license plate in the system. Our Camera enforcement tracks the time you enter the lot and the time you leave the lot. If you exceed the 15 minute free period, and we are unable to match your license plate to a paid ********************** session, you are subject to citation, as stated on the posted signage at the location. We offer both a mobile payment option that allows you to use your phone to pay, as well as a payment station located directly in the center of the lot.
If you made a payment for parking during your visit, please provide proof of payment so that we can research this further. As it stands, we do not show a payment for this license plate for this day.
Signage at both of the location entrances indicates that the entire lot is a paid parking lot, and that payment is required in advance.
As a one time courtesy, we will reduce your citation amount to $20.00.

The incident happened on 4/15/2023. My family experienced the worst welcome service ever at the ************** located at **************************************************************, from a valet parking attendant named '*****'. Within less than a minute of my arrival I was threatned that my vehicle will be towed and security will be called if I dont remove it from the ramp immediately. There were also other cars parked but I was the only one mistreated infront of many patrons outside the hotel. I had 15 months old child and other family members in my car while this threat was taking place.This is an absolute failure of customer service and I would like a personal apology from this associate and a disciplinary actions needs to be taken. He also needs to be trained to provide equal service for all.My first impression of my entire hotel stay was ruined because of under-trained valet parking associate and I'll not let this matter slide until appropriate measures are taken and I recieve an apology from the associate.Business Response

On 1/27/23 I parked in lot #***** and went to pay. The only method to pay was by phone. I went thru the steps and it asked me to select the amount of time, my car's info, and showed a price. Entered a card # and pressed submit. It then went right back to select time and then the payment info screen AGAIN. Tried multiple times to process the payment, but their payment system went back to the beginning repeatedly.Then, my wife tried to pay on her phone. EXACT SAME THING (entered all info/entered billing info/pressed submit/payment system again went to the start). It's impossible to pay when the only payment method doesn't work. I disputed the violation (# ***************) and told them what happened. When they finally replied this is it:"The SP Plus enforcement team reviewed your dispute and did not find any conclusive evidence that your violation was incorrectly issued. Please proceed to violations.spplus.com to pay the full amount of the fine. Our system uses license plate numbers track payments for **********************. We do not have a record of a payment being made for this license plate. You will need to provide proof of payment."They want proof of payment although the reason I disputed it was I COULDN'T pay due to THEIR payment system not working. Their response shows that no one read the reason why I disputed it. Many other cars had tickets on them, most likely due to the same issue.My wife and I, along with a friend w/us, are all witnesses to this and willing to make statements attesting the same in a court of law or in front of a Judge. Review your cameras for that time period and you will clearly see us standing in front of where your payment QR code sign is attempting to pay repeatedly (for at least 10 minutes). We tried over and over, but your technology failed.Either remove this charge or bill me for the amount of time I tried to pay (it was about 1 1/2 hours if I remember correctly). Please see the explanation and breakdown of the violation charges from the Senior Manager:
The letter that he received in the mail is document stating the cost of the violation. The detail of the violation is $20 in unpaid parking fees, and $20 in Violation Fees, and $20 in Administrative Fees. Per guidelines established by the City, we are able to charge violation fees up to the amount posted at the location. Which in this case is up to $75.00. This is not a location owned by the **************, so whatever the ************** charges for parking citations doesn't factor in. All of the information this customer needed was already provided through the citations website.
