I paid for a parking spot at the ********** on 9/29/24. Total was $11.99 for the spot. My parking spot was from 7:59pm - 3:00am. After leaving the concert there was a parking violation ticket on my window stating that I didnt pay for my spot. I parked in one of their lots for an event and paid $30 through the app at the time of parking. The app only allowed me to select a 1-hour time frame, but I didnt think much of it since it was $30 which is already an above average rate for a day in the area. After the event, I found a notice on my window demanding an additional $50$30 for extra parking and a $20 fine.I contacted them to explain that I had already paid $30 and provided proof. They responded that I was being charged the extra $30 for not extending my time, which I would have had to do via a single text notification that I missed while at the sports event.They also mentioned that $30 is the daily maximum. If I paid $30 initially, it should indicate that I had already paid the daily ********** seems they prevent users from setting a longer time at the initial payment, expecting that youll miss the extension text so they can charge you more later. I will be sure to avoid using any of their lots in the future.Business Response

I parked in a parking garage and pay the amount due per the post signed. I received a letter informing me that I never paid for parking and I woe $47.99. The unpaid parking amount is stated at $12.99 plus a fine of $35.00.I went to their website to dispute and submit proof that I did pay for the parking on the Pay By Phone App but I continue to receive errors. I just received a collections statement addressed to me with a car that is registered to my daughter. Neither one of us has ever received any information related to this and did not know to pay anything. There was never a ticket left on car, no attendant in the lot area & when she pulled up, she was able to go on in. We do not feel that we should have to pay any fees incurred since this is the first we are hearing about it. This was our first notification of any parking ticket & it was a Demand for Payment. Hello,
All violations are issued during your parking and a notice is left on the vehicle and signs are promenant throughout the location notifying you that failure to pay will result in fines. Over the next several weeks notices are mailed based on the registration for the vehicle. After 90 days the violation is sent to collections and is mailed to the same address. By the time you receive the collections notice, 3 other notcies have been mailed to you. The collection notice stands.

I received a violation of parking notice but it was not mailed to the address associated with the vehicle registration so I was not able to pay the fine in a timely manner, resulting the ticket amount. I was unaware that I needed to pay the ticket fee and did not have the opportunity to do so. The violation number is: ****************. Hello, I have recently received a parking violation from SP Plus Corporation. The violation occurred on 074/28/2024. This happened on the *******************************************************************************, right by Brightline station in ***************, *******. I purchased 4 tickets and a parking pass through ************* on 07/16/2024. Confirmation number is #GEMUUB. A couple weeks after I received a parking ticket from SP Plus Corporation. I went on the website to dispute it, but the company's website does not allow me to dispute it and it is saying that they will be referred to a collections agency if I don't pay. I have tried calling the number I found on the Better Business Bureau, but the recorded message sent me to the company's website. Please help as I have paid for my parking in advance, however, this third-party company SP Plus Corporation is not allowing me to dispute the ticket.Business Response

I parked at the parking lot servicing the establishment SandBar at ****************************************************. I overstayed my time frame and have received a ticket from SP+ Enforcement, ******************, Nashville, TN *****. This ticket says that I exited at 5 in the morning, but has the total time I was there as only 2 hours and 44 min. In short, their reader is incorrect in its am/pm designation. However, when I go to their website, there is no way to dispute the claim. I wanted to bring this to your attention as a private company that is inaccurate in providing its "services" to "clients" and would like help contacting someone that can see that the ticket is inaccurate. 1. I did not get the response from the BBB 10 days ago or I would have responded.
2. The issue is with the AM/PM designation of thier apparatus. The business has not spoken to that issue at all. They have incorrectly documented the time I was at the establishment and I imagine they are doing the same for other patrons.

I was given a ticket when parking in an SP plus lot. I disputed the ticket and received an email stating they would get in touch if they needed anything else from me. 30 days later I received a collection notice. I have tried to follow up with the company and have received no response. I received a parking ticket in the amount of $40.99 for an unpaid parking fee from 8/7/24. I am happy to pay the unpaid fee portion ($5.99) but believe the $35.00 ticket amount should be waived. At the time of the incident, I entered a restaurant with the understanding that I could go online to pay for parking while waiting to order. I was with my special needs child, who could not handle the noise level of the restaurant. We placed a to-go order instead and were in the restaurant for no more than 5 min. We returned to the car to wait. Had I known that I would be considered "parked" while still in my car with it running, I would have moved my car. The penalty for this is excessive.Business Response

I parked at a venue and used the kiosk to pay for parking. I never received notice the payment did not go through nor did I receive a parking ticket at the venue. I also never received a notification from the parking company of any kind and did not know the payment had not processed until receiving a bill collection notification months later. Upon receiving a violation, a violation notice is left on the vehicle. 30 days later, if the bill is left unpaid, another notice is mailed to the same address the collections notice is eventually mailed to. Another 30 days after that, a 3rd and final notice is mailed to the same address the collection notice is sent to. These notices all contain a link to a page which contains information on disputing the violation. By the time you have received a collections notice, 3 other notices have been given to you, 2 through the mail at the same address the collections notice would have been sent to. We have provided more than enough time for you to have disputed or paid this violation and the balance has been turned over to a collection company.
