The ticket that I received was incorrect. I paid for parking at the time of arrival and should not have been charged any additional fees. It clearly shows me entering the parking lot at 12:24 pm and leaving the parking lot at 4:14 PM. (Btw, the ticket states 4:14 AM, which is incorrect as well.) The parking sign stated that 2 hours are free and $5 per hour after that. i was there for 3 hours and 49 minutes. I paid the $10 in parking upon arrival and can submit proof. This company has now charged me with a $51 ticket for parking and late fees. I have paid the ticket they have given me because I was unable to dispute it online and unable to speak to a human by phone, but I will be needing a refund because this charge is absolutely absurd. Violation number ****************, I will be waiting for my refund. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I have reached out to the guest as they've emailed our dispute portal. It appears they had incorrectly entered their plate number which is why the violation was issued. I am assisting the customer on a refund.

I received an overdue parking citation notice for supposed violation on 5/29/24 (violation number ****************) for $40.99 in the mail for the very first time last week. Ive tried to contact the company and have not gotten a response. When trying to dispute my charges on their website, it says that disputes are not being accepted for this violation. I would like to explain my case to dispute my charges without risking issues with my credit and the collections agency.

On the 15th of May 2024, I parked in a paid parking lot that I had used the week before without any issues. I arrived around 7am, scanned the ** code, paid the $10.99, received the payment confirmed page, and went into work. I did not bother taking a screenshot since I had no issues with the payment process prior. When I went to my car after work I had a ticket. I checked my email for the receipt and found that I never received it. I went to the website shown on the ticket, filed a dispute, and have not heard anything since. I tried contacting them again on June 18th since I only have 45 days before it goes to collections. I still have not received a response. Maybe their communication system is as defective as their app or maybe they just ignore people so they can send stuff to collections, either way it is terrible customer service and ensures a loss of customers. I would have been willing to pay the $10.99. Technology malfunctions, I understand that. Being charged $30 for a violation I didnt commit and being ignored by the company doing so, is infuriating.

I got mailed a "parking" ticket from SP Plus Corporation dated 4/2/24 from where I supposedly parked in their parking lot of 1/29/24. The pictures are NOT of me parked but driving. The amount due is $391.99. I sent them a request to find out more information regarding this and dispute the "parking" ticket. I received a letter that stated SP Plus Corporation was the company that sent me the ticket and that is it. I do NOT believe this is a fair ticket and possibly a scam organization. Please look into this and protect people from this predatory parking ticket company

I received a letter from a debt collector (********** ********************************** LLP) today trying to collect an unpaid parking violation with SP Plus Corporation. The letter is addressed to ****************************, a person who has never lived at this address since I have been living here since 2001 when the house was originally built, nor do I know of anyone with this name. I checked the violation #***************** stated in the letter with the *************** website to look up any additional information. The license plate number ****** is registered in NM, but is not or ever was registered to anyone at my address. The parking violation took place in downtown *********** in April 2024. I have not been in *********** at all this year. Please have the collection agency and SP Plus stop sending any future letters to this address. The violation can not be attributed to anyone or vehicle at this address. My son experienced a similar situation with a vehicle not registered to him and he kept receiving collection letters until he filed a complaint.

Earlier this year I parked in a parking lot in ***** and neither myself or my partner saw a sign to pay for parking. Most of the businesses were closed ad we just stopped for some tea.Afterworlds I received a letter in the mail from ********** ********************************** LLP asking me to pay $45.50. *** looked at other complaints against them and a lot of people get charged outrageous amounts by them. I am in another country right now and cannot access the website to pay the fee. When I called on the phone they said its the only way to pay. This fee is extremely high for less than an hour of parking. I would like them to drop this fee. The person on the phone couldnt tell me what the reproductions are for not paying. My reference number is ******** Violation # - ****************

      Business Response

      Date: 07/01/2024

After reviewing your citation, our records indicate that you were at the location adjacent to the ********************* beyond the 15 minute free period.  We use license plate enforcement, and we do not have a record of payment for your license plate in the system.    Our Camera enforcement tracks the time you enter the lot and the time you leave the lot.  If you exceed the 15 minute free period, and we are unable to match your license plate to a paid ********************** session, you are subject to citation, as stated on the posted signage at the location.  We offer a mobile payment option that allows you to use your phone to pay.

If you made a payment for parking during your visit, please provide proof of payment so that we can research this further.  As it stands, we do not show a payment for this license plate for this day.

Signage at both of the location entrances indicates that the entire lot is a paid parking lot, and that payment is required in advance.

      Regards,

On a trip to ****************** April 9 and 10, 202, I was overcharged while parking in a ***************************************** garage run by SP+ parking. The maximum charge peer day was shown as $25, and I was charged $29, and $40.The contact information on the ticket and signage *************) is out of date.I filed a request for reimbursement on Aril 23, and re-entered all information and supplied pictures of both ticket-stubs and information signage in response to an email from SP+ on April 29.A reply from SP+ came later the same day with the text: "Sending to location to review and contact you." I have not heard from any "location". I have not received any update from SP+ despite prompting May 10. I have tried to contact the city of ************'s parking off as well, but their phone message asks for in person visits. An email to their office May 13 has not been answered. All I want is for the overcharges ($4+$15) to be returned to me.

      Hello,

I address the customer complaint on June 25, 2024. I researched the parking ticket in our system and also the rates per the city. I immediately responded back to the customer. I provided a detail breakdown of our parking rates and why the request for a refund had been denied. The customer exceeded daily maximum length per parking visit. The rates had been charged correctly according to the city's parking rates.

      Please see my attachment provided.

I am a small business owner in ********** that has been struggling for the better part of a year with SP Parking company erroneously ticketing my clients. My business is attached to one of their parking structures where my clients park and I pay to validate their parking. The recurring issue is that despite me paying monthly to validate my client's parking they incessantly receive collections letters from a "debt collector" ********** ********************************* LLP. I have been receiving erroneous citation letters since November 2023. When I speak to ************** who is the senior manager of the local SP Parking she informs me that she will "clear" the tickets. Despite supposedly clearing the tickets my clients continue to receive collection letters for parking that I pay to validate. My question is why am I paying to validate my client's parking and they are still getting ticketed. I am going to do whatever is necessary to reach a solution because these citations are a terrible reflection on my business.

On June 7 2024, I received correspondence from a law firm that my sons truck (which is in my name) was parked in a handicap parking zone after midnight on 12/16/2023 and owes $145. This was the first time we were made aware of this violation. I have made several attempts to contact SP Plus to rectify the situation and have been unable to speak to a person.I understand the need for a fee for parking in the handicap zone, my son had recently had surgery and needed to park closer, but did not have a handicap placard. I believe $145 and then not being able to speak to anyone at any hours of the day is unreasonable. Thank you for help!Reference#********

      Business Response

      Good morning,

We attempted to make contact with the customer via email and phone call on June 11th. However, we hadn't heard back from the customer and a 2nd phone call was made and a follow up email sent. Our efforts to make contact and discuss the matter with the customer have been unsuccessful.

The customer didn't submit a dispute of the violation within the designated time frame on violations.spplus.com, which is why they had to contact our ************* team.

Unfortunately, this citation must be upheld. Not only did the vehicle park on the surface lot without payment, but they also parked in a handicap space without having the designated placard or license plates. The customer admits that they don't possess a handicap placard, but the party driving was on crutches. In order to remain compliant with City of Denver *** and policies, we must enforce the proper use of handicap spacing or potentially face severe fines or the loss of our business license.

On March 11, 2024 I sent a monthly parking membership cancellation to the ********************* e-mail. It was supposedly resolved on March 25, 2024 with the parking manager ***************** writing that the information was forwarded to the book keeper to close my account. In April, May and June I have received billing invoices for the monthly parking fees totaling $300.00. I have attempted to contact the ********************* e-mail to no response twice, called the office billing me to no answer, and sent a physical letter to the office on **************************************************************** on the invoice to no response either. I am concerned that the business is attempting to take funds from me for a parking membership that I did not use or should not have since March of this year. I have also heard of incidents where the company takes the bills to a collection agency to intimidate customers into paying.
