      Well, the service was definitely five star. The salesman whose name is Steve M****, was especially helpful, and very informed on every aspect of the sale. Everything he told me was exactly true, and to the point. The two gentlemen that installed the tub were very hard-working and did a great job. I am very pleased with my tub. I enjoy it every time I use it

      I have had nothing but problems with the tub since it was installed in 2018. It wasn’t installed properly and was leaking. The floor got wet and now needs to be replaced. The sent service people out 4 times to fix the problem. Finally the tub was replaced.
      Last night I tried to soak in the tub only to find water was leaking from the door. This is a poor product with bad customer service.

      Nov. 3, 2022, I signed a contract with Safe Step to have a $14,997.00 shower installed in my home, giving them a $3,000.00 deposit. In December, I was contacted by their project manager to be advised that my shower would be installed the latter part of December. Before the installation date, I was again contacted by the project manager informing me that one of the installers had broken his foot and we needed to reschedule installation until Jan. 10. That was suitable with me since I wanted the injured installer to have time to heal. On Jan 10, two installers showed up at my home and once they performed demolition of my old shower, stated that I really needed a larger shower pan in order for a better fit. Here we are in Feb. 2023 and all I am told when I call the project manager is since this is a custom cut pan, it takes time. I think that in 3 months time, a shower pan of any size could have been cut and a shower installed. Since the installers have torn out the old shower, I am losing heat from that bathroom, causing an increase in my gas bill, as the wall insulation was torn down. I can only blame myself for not reading the horrible reviews this company has received but I cannot believe how the attitude and manner of speaking with customers of the original salesperson (T. R. S******) and the project manager (Ashley M****) changed between the first contacts and the signed contract. I cannot fathom a company that appears to have a wonderful idea on walk in tubs and showers could hire such rude and uncaring employees to represent their company in this manner.

      We offer our sincere apologies to *** ****** for the delays incurred in the installation of her walk-in shower and any inconvenience she has incurred. *** ****** is correct that the installer was injured and then when he did perform the demo, he discovered that a customer size pan needed to be ordered. Our office recently spoke to *** ****** to give her an update and we will also follow up with her after the installation to ensure that she is satisfied.

      A man came to my house from safe step acted like he didn’t want to even be at my house then makes rude remarks makes a comment about my disability then tells my father I’m a hateful person cause of how he treated me an my father it was the a horrible experience be careful who you let in your home this company will not respond to my complaint they wont punish this employee they wont call me back its sad how they discriminated again my disability an still have no remorse

      We have spoken to the Direct Seller regarding this appointment and he denies in the strongest possible terms making any statements of any type regarding a disability or that the person writing this review was a hateful person. The Direct Seller vividly remembers this appointment and is unequivocal in his denial of these allegations.

      We submitted a call in November 2022 due to tub not working. It was purchased so my elderly mother could sit and bath (unable to stand and bath). The jets were not working. We have had repairmen out 3 times and still not functioning properly. They aren't charging for the service calls, it's an inconvenience waiting on repairs to be up to par. Just want the tub working as it should.

      The walk in shower itself is great but the employees are terrible. We hired them to put in a walk in shower because of advancing age. The workers laid some sort of strong chemical on the sink top and messed up the finish and the vinyl plank flooring is all scratched up. They had to cut into some drywall and never tried to contain the dust and everything was covered in drywall dust. We have contacted the company and they said to get an estimate to fix the damage and we did that. They offered $500 which would not have fixed the issues. Now when we call our phone calls are not answered.

      We had requested a more itemized invoice from this customer, which was received. Since that time, we have spoken to the customer and we are pleased to report that we have reached an agreement on his claim. We hope he continues to enjoy his walk-in shower for many years to come.

      Safe Step contacted me and agreed to give me $1500 to cover damage that was caused by their workers but it has been a month now and I still have not received the check. When I call the only answer I get is that they will check into what the hold up is and it goes no farther.

      My parents got a tub in late March 2022 to help my father with leg pain & have something safe. While our tub was being installed, the installers almost got into a fistfight in the driveway. My mother was close to calling the cops. They finally finished, and some drywall needed to be fixed, which Safe Step said they would cover.The first bath didn't drain quickly. It took over 30 minutes to drain at the normal drain speed. I'm not sure how that is quick. We called & had the same guy who installed the tub come out & insisted it was fine. Guess what, it wasn't! We had to call again, which was an endless back & forth. Finally, someone came and provided what seemed like a fix.****, it worked for maybe two months. At that point, it wouldn't hold water. The only way to hold water was to put something very heavy on the drain. During this time, we also still hadn't the wall fixed. They were, to put it simply, completely ignoring us.After calling every number, I could find, I finally got someone to listen. They confused me with another customer & proceeded to snap at me for duplicity. They never bothered to look up our address vs. another family with the same last name. I know, shocking! More than one family with the same last name!In September, I reminded them of all of our issues, including that we were told our check would not be cashed until we were happy. They cashed it well before we were happy.After endless back and forth, the wall was finally fixed. However, we kept experiencing issues with the tub. We sent letters to the company's president by certified mail in early October. After that, we got some calming lip service but no actual service until December 14th. (Please note that the serviceman is lovely)tl:dr version - They have horrific customer service and treat customers like pests, and you have to beat down the door to get help. The tub, when it works right, is great, but Safe Step is horrific to deal with & has left us highly disheartened.

      These tubs are amazing. I love mine. It's easy to step into and sit down feature is a game changer for me. The seat warmer is terrific when you're cold before or after a bath while waiting for your water to get in the tub or go out. The jets are out of this world! The representatives are nice and friendly and I would recommend Safe Step to anyone looking for a step in tub.
