You stated that an email was sent at 3:00 pm with the entrance number. However, every email sent before that had stated the code would be sent after 4:00 pm. Because of that, we scheduled the arrival time for after 4. Why would we have expected to get in when we were told several times that it would not be received until 4:00 pm? Common sense would state that receiving an email while en route would clearly be useless.
If a document was signed that states the credit card will be charged for a year, then why not send that document to verify its existence and to clarify what exactly the "membership" provides? The process is deceptive. But, you have taken the money. I just hope that others will read this and will learn from the mistakes that we made in trusting thieves who prey on hard-working people. We just wanted a nice time with family to mourn the loss of our mother and to celebrate her life. We paid for the rental. We worked hard to ensure that all of your extensive criteria were addressed. And, regrettably, we continue to pay.

We are very sorry for your loss and we will pray for your family. We spell out everything in the terms and conditions that you had to agree to when you made the reservations. You couldn't continue with your reservation until you check mark the box that states you have read and agree to the terms of the membership. I am sorry that caught you off guard but we have everything right there for everyone to read. And I do not apricate you calling us thieves when we did nothing wrong but follow through on a contract you signed up for and agreed to.Review fromColumbus M

It was our very first time staying in a cabin in Gatlinburg. The mountain roads are a bit intense, but once you make it to the cabin destination, it's a beautiful sight and relaxation time! The scenery is as where we stayed suggested...majestic! Clean, surreal, and breathtakingly comfortable. Worth the cost!Bear Camp Cabin Rentals, LLC

My husband and I loved the cabin Couples Retreat at Greenbrier Creek. The cabin was above and beyond our expectations and the office staff was very polite and gracious. We rented a cabin (Pigeon Forge Escape) for the weekend of Oct 7th for our wedding party. We are locals but most of our wedding party are from out of state. We wanted to pay for everyones accommodations for the weekend, and this place was perfect! The price point was wonderful for a 5-bedroom cabin. When we walked in, I was blown away because the home looked even more impressive than it did in the online walk through. Our children loved the game room and bunk room downstairs. The adults in our wedding party spent most of their time in the hot tub. There was ample space, and the beds were so soft and plush!
The only negative we had was that one of the fire alarms had a dead battery and started beeping in the middle of the night. I found replacement batteries in the kitchen, and it was a quick and easy fix.
We have already began planning a stay cation soon, and we will definitely look at booking with Bear Camp Cabins againBear Camp Cabin Rentals, LLC

In short, booked a trip September 12th for a cabin Sept 30th thru 5 nights. Clearly last minute and then had to cancel 4 days later. They politely told me ok., my money would be refunded within 10-12 days. Checked my account did not see, now I am told NO, because I didn't give them 30 day notice. Little difficult to do that given timeliness, even offered to split this. They don't want to talk, not willing to listen.
Horrible company, zero customer service. Just so you know this would have been our 4th time using them, NEVER again!!!Bear Camp Cabin Rentals, LLC

Thank you so much for leaving a review. Per the contract you signed you agreed to no refunds within 30 days it is right there in the contract you signed. I am so very sorry that you had an emergency and had to cancel 6 days after you made the reservation but I have to fall back on I have to follow the same rules for everyone no matter if we want to or not we have to follow the same contract for everyone in this day and age. I would never recommend this business to ANYONE. I rented a cabin. When I hit the "rent now" button, it gave me the specifics, which included deposit insurance. Then, I was told to sign a different contract, which, I did not know did not have deposit insurance, nor was it offered to me. My transmission went out in my truck before I ever even MADE it to the cabin. Then, I rebroke my foot on this trip. Instead of offering me another cabin that didn't have 29 steps, she just side NO REFUNDS. I saved for 5 yrs for this trip and they basically just stole over $1300.00 of my hard earned money. She said it was because I kept someone else from renting it. I had been watching it. No one else wanted it and it's still available right now and the first week of October, so it's obviously not a hot item. It's not right. My husband, who is deceased now, and i,always vacationed there. I am a widow on a budget. I don't HAVE over $1300.00 to just GIVE to an LLC. I could understand it if I had not had 2 emergencies the night I arrived there. Emergencies happen in life, but that doesn't mean you should take someone's money because they're already down. I had to pay to have someone come to TN from AL and pull my truck back. I know a LOT of couple who vacation in Pigeon Forge. I will be sure and tell them who NOT to call. I will never set foot in Pigeon Forge again
I've been there 11 times, but this will be my last year if this is how they allow business to be conducted. I have cried for 12 days about this. I ended up staying a few days in a hotel I couldn't afford. NEVER USE Bear Camp Cabin Rentals! They have no cares about how hurt or how broke down you are. I had my foot xrayed when I got back home. My foot is broken again. I couldn't have climbed their stairs after that anyway. I told the lady when I rented that I had broken my foot but I thought I could make it, but after I broke it again the day I arrived, I knew I couldn't. I am so very sorry for your stay not being perfect. I hate that this happened during your stay here and I hate to have to say this but I have to follow the same contract that everyone has to sign and follow. I can't allow one guest to get their money back no matter how much I want to give the money back and not allow the next guest. That is the hardest part of our job I feel so sorry for everyone that has emergencies that I can't help. I hope you do come back to the area even if you don't stay with us but please don't let this ruin your staying in the area. In the contract you signed you signed that there is no refunds for anything no matter what. I only have a suggestion that you reach out to your credit card company to see if they have insurance some credit card companies do have this so I would look and see if your card does provide this for their customers.Review fromTiffani B

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The views are stunning. I enjoyed sitting outside enjoying tea in the morning and at night as well. The bed is very comfortable and it's very quiet at night.Bear Camp Cabin Rentals, LLC

This was a great place to stay! The rooms were clean, and the cabin was nicely furnished! The entertainment room was great, and we loved the arcade games (especially the pinball). Our only complaint was the water pressure could be better, and one bed upstairs was a bit broken down, but overall we would DEFINITELY stay there again!Bear Camp Cabin Rentals, LLC
