I happen to be in the mall today and I made sure to strike up a conversation with every person shopping at your Tesla location in *************** and let them know that its a great car. Theyll really enjoy it, but they just should be prepared to have it painted after every trip on anything but absolutely perfect pristine roads

If I could leave no stars I would. Tesla claims service representatives are the worse. They don't understand how to communicate with anyone. One of their customers hit my car in October and there's still an open claim that won't be resolved due to poor communication. I had to pay for a rental out of pocket and still waiting for them to help reimburse that. My claims adjustor has asked multiple times to provide a manger/supervisor contact information so we can process this faster and there hasn't been any response. Just around the end of January the representative said that there's a no limit on the rental and now she's saying that they could only cover for 30 days and I have to return it today but my car still isn't ready. Now I have to return the rental and be carless due to this representatives lack of communication. When I call in to speak with a live representative it could take up to 2 hours to get ahold of someone and they aren't even helpful they say that they're forward the message as urgent and that's all.

The 2023 Model Y has serious safety defects, including the blind spot monitor and the lane departure avoidance warning, both of which function, at best, only intermittently.I see that a car in the blind spot does turn red at times but not nearly always and, even when it does turn red, reverts to grey before the car is at least partly visible in the rear-view mirror, indicating that its not safe to change lanes. The radiating colored lines described in the owners manual do not appear at all. After speaking to customer service who insisted that the blind spot monitor wasnt working because camera calibration hadnt yet completed (which I had no view of), I had to again call after putting over 200 miles on the car. This time, I was told calibration had completed but the feature still didnt work. After making a service appointment, I spoke to **** at the service center who alerted me to a Tesla article re Replacing Ultrasonic Sensors with Tesla Vision (************************************************************************************************) which refers to some features that are temporarily limited or inactive as a result of implementing a camera-based autopilot system. Blind spot monitoring, however, isnt included in the list, which I pointed out to ****. After accompanying me on a test drive, he then claimed that blind spot monitoring works only when cruise control is engaged, which isnt described anywhere in the owners manual and in fact makes no sense. When I asked him to provide documentation to that effect, he said he was going to find it and, after I couldnt wait any longer, he assured me he would email me the documentation. I still havent received it.The lane departure avoidance feature also works only intermittently and then only when it's set to "assist", not "warning".At this point, I've purchased an expensive car that doesn't have important safety features existing in much cheaper cars and which are described in the owner's manual as though they do exist. Pathetic.

Really wish I had read these reviews and spoken to more people before I bought my car. The first issue is that they charge premium costs but poor service. Good luck talking to a person for one. You have to ****** around to get a number to actually speak to a person . The people at the dealership are clueless and when I recently had a flat tire I was told that they do not do tire service in MY area????!!!. Really?? You had no issue selling me a car for my area and FYI my area is very safe. The zip code encompasses a large area and if they are not doing tire service in my area it better be for the entire Chicago metropolitan area. Word of warning- do not buy this car! It is fast and cute but if anything ever goes wrong you are SOL.

I had heard rumors about Tesla's unprofessional service, but today I experienced it first hand when I went to pick up my first Tesla, the Model X. I had been waiting for years and saving up money to own/lease a Tesla. I wish I never bought one. When I arrived at the pickup location, the representatives at the pick up location did not offer much help to learn about the vehicle and instead said multiple times that Tesla App has all the answers. They also said my car was detailed from the inside and I came to find out the interior was dirty and never cleaned. The battery was only charged to 80% rather than 95+% as stated by one of the representatives I spoke to on the phone. Overall, it was a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend Tesla to anyone and would never buy again.

Worse roadside service, I had flat tire, asked towing company to put the air first so it can drivable at tire shop to pull into shop island. Towing driver was going to drive my car up on his truck. That could have further damaged my cars tier.
Towing truck was not equipped with air compressor.
I called back the Tesla Roadside and requested for towing truck that can also put the air in tier. I explained why I would need the air. I don’t want my tier to get damaged when the roll the car on the tow truck.
Roadside customer service representative failed to understand my request and refused to provide towing that can also fill the air.
Tesla Roadside service is not roadside service. My experience with them is, they are bunch of spoiled employees and will not allow you to speak with manager or supervisor. There is no one to take complaints.
It’s Tesla monopoly and will not provide customer service that is needed to prevent damage to the car.
US Consumer and State Consumer department must look into criminal practice of Tesla where they deny the basic service to their customers.

This drama brand car is a lot more stressful than having a wrong boyfriend/girlfriend. I was so proud and excited to purchase a pre own 2018 Tesla model S without thinking and doing research carefully . I’ve experienced issues such as door handle (the most common ones), brake pad, screen, upgrades…I got a used one(34k miles) for 70k (way overpriced) and have driven for about 700 miles, door handle got stuck and it painfully cost me $425 to fix(my basic warranty expired). The major issue started when I reversed it and it made an incredible loud bang sound like metal slammed to metal, it was shocking. I immediately scheduled service appointment and they stated if they were going to take a look there would be a diagnose fee of couple hundred dollars therefore they only drove it and said my brake was absolutely normal, then it happened again, I brought it in for another service and again they confirmed nothing was wrong with my car. On 1/30/23, my Tesla was completely stuck, I couldn’t move forward or backward, something wrong with the drive unit/motor and it strongly stopped my car from moving, the tow company wanted $300 to tow it to the service center, I didn’t want to pay that much and I tried put more pressure on the accelerator to try to move it, my car was forcefully bouncing forth and back for 35 seconds and boom, that metal collapsed sound happened again I had it recorded to show them proof because they had never believed my story, I got blamed and excuses for all of the issues. The total of 5 unbelievable visits to SC for driving less than 1k miles. I treat this tesla like a baby, garage kept, haven’t drove in the rain, drive it very gently and routinely charge it. Anyway, I had to agree to the diagnose fee in order for them to open things up to take a glance . Finally they found something wrong with the brake and painfully charged me $800 but not guaranteed if that was the real problem or could be something else. Tesla truly hurts me mentally and financially.

Wish I would have never bought this. I bought a used 2021 model 3 AWD in January of 22. First thing the 12 volt battery was dead/dying had that fixed under warranty thankfully. Next was the passenger side seat switch they fixed that under warranty the first time and then quoted me **** to replace when it broke the second time. One **** dollar windshield. Now the screen developed a crack while driving down the road so there was **** dollars. I asked about warranty they said I had to have broken it. I would be scared to use the *** as I have almost been rear ended many times due to phantom breaking. I have a **** f350 that was bought new for under twenty grand. I have spent less than four grand in parts since owning it. It has over 300k miles. **** it drink *********.. but you do the math. I so bad want to get rid of this but with the sudden price decrease I am underwater. There needs to be multiple lawsuits agents this company starting with right to repair and phantom breaking. Buyer be ware!!!

I feel terribly let down by Tesla (*****************) and the unfair business practice he conducted in late 2022-early 2023. I was pressured to go in and take delivery of my Model Y car way before the original date. I didnt understand why the employees were being so persistent until I did pick up my car in mid December. Only a couple of days later they offered an on the spot $7500 reduction to the price of the car! This makes me feel like I was used, lied to & manipulated. As if that wasnt bad enough, a couple of weeks later Musk lowered the price of the Model Y (and Model 3) by $12,000! This entire Tesla experience has been a nightmare. I should be enjoying the fact that Im driving an EV and feeling like Im contributing to a cleaner environment but thats overshadowed by my shame. I am not happy to be driving this car because it represents a company, and a man, who are deceitful and just plain greedy. Shame on you *****************.

I purchased a Tesla Model 3 Long Range on 9/21/22. The purchase price was $64,739.60. Tesla has discounted their vehicles by around $14,000 lately which means I'm upside-down in my loan. If I were to experience a financial hardship and need to sell or got in an accident where the vehicle was deemed totaled, I would owe more than the car is worth. This is beyond inflation, depreciation, or supply/demand. I'm permanently disabled, on SSDI, and my primary use for the vehicle is going to doctor's ************ and treatments. I've contacted Tesla regarding this via phone and text message. I have a text message string from *******************, Customer Experience Manager at ********, **********, where she ****** that Tesla will not offer me any adjustment or compensation for this. I believe a fair trade-off would be for Tesla to provide me with free Full Self Driving capability. All the hardware/software for this is already in my vehicle, Tesla literally just has to turn the switch on to give me this capability. This would cost Tesla $0 and would not negatively affect them. However, it would increase the value of my vehicle close to what I paid for it, plus it would provide me with much-needed assistance in driving to my doctor ************/treatments since these are sometimes out-of-state.
