I have received mail of unpaid tolls and fees. So I go to pay them on the website and it ask my for a five digit zip code, but says incorrect and ends up locking me out for a day. I then tried calling to pay it, and she asks for my address. Apparently, she said my address was wrong and she cannot help me. I have not changed addresses recently. Why is it so difficult to take care of this fine and why are they saying my address is wrong.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: the photo just shows a license plate, it does not show any proof that the make of the car is mine which is not mentioned on any of the notices on the photos you sent or on the notices I received, nor a picture of me driving thru a toll at 2:07?? (morning or afternoon). I do not have a p.o.box address on my license or on any of my registrations that you claim you received from DMV. I asked for picture of my car, all I see is a car plate in the dark. Please remove my information from your systems. I never received any notice for $4.00 to dispute prior to the notices I received in Sept 2022 & Dec 2022. I never been to ********.

On 12/6/22 I received a $30.80 toll fee bill for ****************** that has NEVER lived at my address. Apparently a clerical error claimed he lives at my apt. #**** instead of #****. Linebarger and Associates sent me a debt collection notice, reference number *********, for tolls not paid in ******** on 8/7/21. I was not in ******** and did not take such a trip on 8/7/21. If it is the case that the trip date was incorrect, and I did go through a toll plaza without paying (which would have been a mistake, since I have an EZ-Pass), they charged me $91.50 for an original $4 toll collection. I never received notice from the ******** ********** of ************** or anyone else that there were tolls unpaid before I received this notice on 10/22/22. As mentioned, I additionally have an EZ-Pass and do not understand why my EZ-Pass was not charged initially, or later after my license plate was ascertained, since they are connected.Business Response

Reference: ******** dated 11/8/22 I am in receipt of a bill from this collection agency in ** for a parking violation they claim occurred 1 day prior to them billing me on 11/9/22 and my receiving it today, 11/18/22. They don't mention a license plate number of the vehicle or the location of where the vehicle was illegally parked or even provide the description of the vehicle or for whom they are trying to collect this debt. I suspect a fraudulent bill has been generated by this company to falsely fabricate this incident and charge to me. Given the number of complaints here on this BBB website, I don't want to be scammed into paying this. Please explain how you can justify giving this company an A+ rating when it appears that over 500 people to date have reported claims against this company to the BBB claiming to have been falsely billed. I have requested from this A+ company, all the information I mentioned above. This information should be available to me so that I can properly appeal such a violation, as I am unaware of ever being illegally parked.Business Response

Received letter from Linebarger,Goggan,Blair,&Sampson re: toll violation in ******** from a car that I owned almost 10 years earlier an orange prius I asked them to send me the picture of my plate. They said that it was fuzzy and not legible and that there was nothing I had to do. I received a second notice and just wanted Linebarger,Goggan,Blair,&Sampson to stop sending those harassing letters so I paid the $***** to ************. Then I received another Demand for paymentFrom Linebarger,Goggan,Blair&Sampson re: a different reference number, a different plate number, and a different amount to pay. I called Linebarger,Goggan,Blair,&Sampson and asked why I had received another toll violation with all new info and that I had just paid ***** on Oct 5. They said it was for a white rogue w the license plate ******. The violation was on March 22,2022 of this year. Now here is the interesting thing. I gave the white ****** RAV4 (not a white rogue) to my sister in 2018 and she drove it to ********** in 2018 to ******************* where the car has been since 2018. My sister passed away last year and it was unlikely that she drove it through the toll roads of ******** on March 22nd of 2022 since she was dead. I asked the manager (I thought this was a law office?) *********************** why there was a new charge of $29.60 with a new reference number, a new plate number, but both vehicles that I had owned in the past, and to please explain how my dead sister drove a non-running rav4 through the toll booths in ******** on March 22nd,2022?He blamed it on DMV and said that I should take it up with them because thats where they get their information from. So I researched deeper by contacting ***********. The second violation $29.60 referred back to the original paid violation of $***** 1st violation (orange Prius) second (wht rav4). If *********** says both reference letters are the same violation, how did all my car info change. Who is editing these docs and resending?Business Response
