Location: Chili's - 45 Bypass (********)****************************************************** ************ Time: 04:00 PM Check: ******* It was not very busy when we arrived, yet the hostess seemed to be doing a lot of work for the waitress. She sat us down, gave us menus, and got our drinks. She said to let her know when we were ready to ****** ***** would let the waitress know we were ready to order. We placed our orders. the host brought the food out, but it was missing stuff & the host addressed it promptly. We then noticed that we didn't have any silverware & flagged the waitress, she brought us silverware **** thanked her. After some time, we flagged the waitress down for refills on our drinks & for some katsup for our French fries, the host brought these to us. After some time passed, we had asked for the check. The waitress brought that to us herself. There was an error on the ****** **** brought it to her attention she went to the back to correct it. We asked for to go containers for our leftovers. She brought those & then had an attitude with us when we showed her that the check was still incorrect. She stated that the manager would have to deal with us because she's had enough issues with ******** rude tormenting attitude the whole entire time. That's when we got upset. The manager did come out & talk to us. We informed him that the host was the one dealing with us 99% of the time & the waitress only had minimal interactions with us. We had no issues with anybody, we only asked for things normally requested when out to eat **** were very appreciative & respectful the entire time to everyone. Even the host said that we were completely fine the entire time & that she didn't understand why the waitress said that. The waitress was so loud that the crew from the back even came out to see what was going on. We had been very polite & thanked everybody for everything until that happened. I filed a complaint, left messages, & no one ever responded.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have not had any communications with anybody from this company. The only thing that they have done is sent me a generic email stating merely that they received my the complaint that I made back in January and that somebody would be in touch with me. Yet nobody has been in touch with me as of yet. Now, after I submit my complaint to the BBB, I get this email today:

Reference Number: 3070610I requested a refund and this extremely late offer of $50 doesn't quite cover the cost of our meal let alone the time and aggravation that I have been through with all of this ordeal. Not to mention other than their initial response to my original complaint to the company on Jan 8th stating that somebody would be in touch and then being completely ignored until after my contacting the BBB.

The waitress's name was ****** & the number on the receipt is *******. The time of the ticket was 3:48pm, well after the lunch crowd and well before the dinner rush. We had bragged so much about how wonderful our Chili's was back home in ******* and we had taken our grown-up son to this Chili's (his first visit ever to a Chili's and thanks to ****** he will probably never go back to a Chili's). Like I said previously, I would like a complete refund --> you can offer the same gift card in the amount of what our meal cost $60.Business Response

The company stated that the agent they have working on this never got a response from me is because nobody has contacted me. I have left my phone number numerous times at various customer service contacts both verbally (voicemail) and electronically via their website portal.
I have checked my email since this response and I do see where an email from a Brinker was sent but it went to the junk folder. So, why didn't they reach out and call me when they didn't get a response from the email especially since in my complaint I gave my phone number and indicated that I welcomed a phone call to better explain all the details of the experience?
I am still not opposed to a call and still request a refund for my ticket amount.

On Saturday 2/3/24, I ate in the restaurant with my two children. I had a $30 gift card I wanted to use. The server told me to pay with the tabletop kiosk. When I did, it did not give me an option to choose how I wanted to pay, it just took it from the account I used the last time I was there. ($71.50)I told him I had wanted to use a gift card. So he voided it and charged me again, ($41.50) saying that I would see the refund "soon"That was two days ago. Chili's is now saying the refund was denied because I "only paid $41.50. They are denying having charged me $71.50 at first when they should be able to see the void. I need to pay my phone bill but chilis drained that account so I cannot pay.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because the last message I received from then stated they could not find record of the ***** they stole from me. So they have no intention of trying to refund.
I also spoke to a manager at the restaurant yesterday. He said he'd look into it and to call him back. I did and he was gone for the day. Another manager said they'd look into it.
I wrote to the district manager who called me while I was at work. I teach so I could not answer. I'm also not interested in more excuses. I want them to return what they stole from me.

I ordered a ********* grilled chicken, brisket quesadillas, and the dip trio. My grilled chicken was undercooked/pink on the inside, the brisket meat was super pink, the guacamole was BROWN, the pico had a sour smell, and all of my food was spoiled. I called to speak to the manager ****, and once he verified my name on the order. He said that he would be refunding my order. When I asked him how long is it going to take for my refund to go back to card since it was a ubereat order? He said he cant refund my money since it was a ubereats order. On the beginning of the call I told him it was a Ubereats order and verified my name also the last 4 digits of my credit card number. He lied about refunding my order so he could rush me off the phone. Then when I asked him about the refund on my card that is when HE TOLD THE ****** I told him that they are delivering old food to customers and he told me that isnt correct since they make the guacomole everyday! That is another lie, because my guacamole is BROWN/SPOILED! Now Im having to wait for ubereats to get the pictures of my food so they can give me a refund. 12/10/2023 I ate at chilis ************************************************************************** with my family and ordered a happy hour sangria ****.. I am use to payoff $7 for happy hour pricing. The bill came and I saw it was $15.00 > I asked the server she said 1 drink was $9 so she didn't not know what was going on as far as the happy hour. The manager **** came out he is the most ruddest Manger I have ever encounted and should not be in the service industry I explained to him how can this coat $15 on happy hour when 1 drink cost $9 and it's two for 1 on happy hour. He went on to tell me that he don't control pricing. And he cannot do anything for that Then I told him that take it off then because the price is not reflecting the happy hour pricing. He said he's not taking it off because I already drank one and he is not doing anything about it. I told him don't worry about it I will handle it with corporate office since he was talking down on me and saying he will not handle it. We went to Chilis in **********, ** on Sun, Dec 3, 2023, after church. We had a party of 12 seated at two tables. 2 servers passed our table and one dropped a plate of ******************************** The food flew all over us! It was on my brand new blouse, on the back and front. It was on my husbands face and shirt, but most imporTANTLY, pastors suit coat, went all over his glasses and ***** **** never said a word. He did however have to ASK for napkins to clean it off. He is also the pastor of our church, & had to remove the jacket & take it to the restroom to clean off. There were greasy spots all over it. I was stunned that no one offered to pay for our meals, no coupons, nothing. More than anything, I was outraged at the apathy for what they had done to my brother. It was humiliating to have it all over his face and clothes! I approached the waitress after my brother had gone. She said, No one seemed mad; there was no yelling or anything, so we just left it alone.Well whatever happened to INTEGRITY!? Does someone HAVE to be screaming to be treated with dignity? So what she was saying was that hateful behavior would be rewarded, but ******************** apparently not. How outrageous! I asked for the ***************** came out. Seeming completely uninterested, he reestablished the waitresses sentiment in that, no one got upset so we thought it was over. I explained the severity of Erics **************** He didnt offer a free meal or to take their meal off the bill, he just said, if he takes it to the cleaners he can bring me a ************* pay the bill. He said this with an attitude of hes not gonna do that.) let me tell you he will! But they SHOULD have covered the meals of everyone of us who had greasy food sprayed all over our clothing and faces! Its the LEAST they could have done! I am rejecting this response because: There has been no resolution. Brinker simply said they were escalating. Im glad. None of this would be happening if the staff had had enough respect to offer our meals to those of us who had food splattered all over us by Brinker staff. Is business so bad that you cannot do that? Its common courtesy. I am submitting my pastors receipt for having his suit coat dry cleaned. I told him I would take care of it so he wouldnt have to. The sad thing is, it was my idea to go to Chilis after church last Sunday. The way the staff handled it by doing nothing will likely result in our local Chilis losing a dozen people; thats how many were in our party. I was charged multiple times by the restaurant. None of the receipts match what I ordered, the manager did not fix this, and the refund request has not been issued. There should have been a single charge of $29.61 for the meal. I received multiple charges for the same meal. I understand that they were having point of sales system issues, but I have not been refunded the overcharge (2nd charge) as promised by the manager. I receieved an enticement to purchase $75 in gift cards from Maggiano's and recieve an &20 Gift card for my purchase. 'I tried four times to purchase this "BAIT AND SWITCH" advertisement, to no avail. I called, and they said I could wait until the next day, and purchase $100 in gift cards, and a $20 Gift card. I bought $350 of Chili's gift cards since 2019; $200 in 2019, $50 in 2021, and $100 in 2022.$100 of the $200 purchased in 2019 was in person at a Chili's restaurant.The other $250 of my purchases were made online.All of my purchases were made on the same credit card without incident. On Nov 27, 2023 I attempted to purchase a $50 Chili's gift card, again using the same credit card. Chili's marketed promotion that day was: get two $10 bonus cards when you purchase a $50 gift card. My purchase was originally accepted but then denied for some unspecified "security" reason.********* there must be some kind of mistake, I made a second attempt to purchase the $50 gift card, paying particular attention to be sure all of my information was correct.My second attempt was also accepted but then denied for the same unspecified "security" reason.I called a friend and asked her to try to buy a $50 Chili's gift card using her own credit card. She received the same accepted and then denial for the same unspecified "security" reason.I called my local Chili's restaurant the same evening and spoke with the manager. She directed me to call Chili's gift card support number ************.Automation answered my call and put me on hold for over 15 minutes, waiting for someone, anyone to help. No person at any time answered my call and I eventually hung up.When I called the next morning, Nov 28, I was told a supervisor would call me within 24 hours.No one called so I called again today, Nov 29. A supervisor named ******** said I could try to make a $50 gift card purchase again, but when I asked her if I would receive the two $10 bonus cards, she said no, it was a one day promotion.This was not a promotion. it was a bait and switch scam.Business Response
