      The most notorious and unethical company I have never seen in my life . I do not understand despite their several lawsuit ; they are still allowed to exploit ******** people legally. There are several instances of lying about interest rates and imposing hidden fees on unsuspecting customers. As a customer for about four years, I am deeply disappointed and feel betrayed by these actions.As an organization that holds a position of trust within the financial industry, it is imperative that your institution operates with the highest ethical standards. Transparency, honesty, and fair treatment of customers should be at the core of your business practices. Unfortunately, the recent revelations indicate a departure from these principles, causing significant harm and loss to many customers who have placed their trust in your institution.Lying about interest rates misleads customers into believing they are receiving a fair and competitive rate, only to discover later that they have been deceived. This not only undermines the trust that customers have placed in your institution but also results in financial loss and undue hardship for individuals who rely on accurate information to make informed financial decisions.Furthermore, the imposition of hidden fees is a clear violation of consumer protection laws and regulations. Concealing these charges from customers not only reflects a lack of integrity but also denies them the opportunity to understand the true cost of their financial transactions. Such deceptive practices not only harm individuals financially but also erode the reputation of your institution within the broader community.

      Do I have to give them any stars? I purchased a truck on a Saturday April 15th and the truck dealer set me up with santander for a loan. I did some research over the weekend ( nothing good review wise) and Not even 3 days later I contacted my credit union and got a better interest rate. I refinanced through them. My CU paid off the loan to Santander the week of April 19th and I requested a refund of a service agreement on 5 /19/2023. No contact made from santander about receiving and cashing my $4500 check they owed me back. I found out after contacting the dealer that Santander received and cashed the check that was mine on 6/12/2023, and proceeded to tell me that it would be 4 to 6 weeks until I got my money back. Fast forward today 7/10/2023, I get a check from them for $750.00 not the $4573.18 they owe me. Their explanation was that the first check was processed on 6/30/2023. Why was there more than 1 check issued. Supposedly the additional $3823.18 check was issued on 7/4/2023. If I do not receive the remainder of my money by 7/14/2023 my only recourse will be to file a lawsuit against them for unethical business practices. Their excuse is the transactions back to them for the service agreement happened separately (not true) *********** that held the service agreement issued them one check for the total amount they owe me. I should never have had to wait this long and on 2 checks not 1. RUN RUN IF YOU HAVE ANY BRAIN CELLS IN YOUR HEAD. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

      These merchants are the worst decision a consumer can make. I have been conned out of a paid off car for vei3ng behind on 2 car payments. I was trying to make a $400. Payment When the car was repossessed and I askedthe lady to find God in her heart and take my payment but she said she could not. I tryed to reach an owner was tranafered to a robot. These financial policies are goig to run this merchant bank into non exisitence. This is what causes homelessness and suicide. Go back to being more personable. I am a single mother about to be homeless with my 3 year old. 5 dogs and no car as well because I'm an uber driver carless since Nov 21st or so.

      I sent my payment to the company Santander Consumer usa And they're telling me that I'm 90 days behind and that's not true. I I gave a payment of five hundred and eighty on I'll March the first and then I March the 30th I gave another payment of 450 and they're telling me that I'm behind 3 months. I can't believe what they're doing to me They hang up on you when they don't want to talk to you and there They received the payments. I'm not 3 months past due. I've given payment by payment and by money ordered so I can keep the information to myself

      Horrible bank they lie and try to trick you out of money.My car was stolen and instead of them closing the loan theyre keeping it open and keeps on trying to harass me about money saying that the car was repossessed even though I have eye witnesses, a police report and footage of the car being stolen. Santander is a very bad bank to get a car loan through and I will never deal with them again and I suggest no one else do also they dont even have a better business bureau accreditation theyre basically frauds and it definitely was a mistake dealing with them.

      Wouldve given them 5 stars if they werent wolves in sheeps clothing.. Had a total car loss w/ progressive payoff lease option. Well, they got their money and since i was in a struggle mentally, physically and financially, i didnt get notified of anything other than progressive taking care of it and 2 years later, they decide to open the account back up with the full balance and some. Where did all my payments and down payment go where did progressives money go? And i owe 105% of the car? 1 Star is far too generous

      I was 1 months late with a payment and the repossessed my vehicle. I decided to pay off the loan as to no longer deal with them. I did as was instructed and sent a cashiers check in the payoff amount and overnighter it to them directly. When I called to provide the tracking number, another girl tried telling me that it would still take 3-5 business days to get my vehicle released. I was like not with a cashiers check it does not.

      This company is charging way above the average price for a 2020 used *****, I am a disabled veteran and I am paying $736.56 per month on a used ***** and I just think that this is a scam. I have sent messages to them regarding the issue but to no avail. ***********************
