  They are crooks to the max. I co signed on a car for my daughter. Her car was hit and totaled before the first payment was due. The insurance paid off the car leaving a small balance in which the warranty should have covered, leaving a balance to be returned to me. Months later they said I owe a balance of 1100, When I made her break down the numbers, it didn't add up so she first put me on hold and came back saying it was fees from a return check, after I told her a payment was never made because the car was wrecked before the payment was due. She puts me on hold again and come back with a whole new balance. The numbers still didn't add up. Plus they reported it to the credit bureau as a repo. They could couldn't explain that either. No resolve. They are total crooks.

  Worst experience of my life. I have a open loan from them that is a year and a half in. My payment is high so I reached out to other company’s to refinance my truck. They told me my account wasn’t updated and to reach out the Chrysler capital to update it so I can refinance. I reached out they said there were going to fix it on my credit and took my truck completely off my credit. This was 7 months ago and since then I call at least 5 times trying to get the problem fix. I spoke with managers that told me it would take 72 hours and it’s been months and my truck is still not on my credit. Never use this finance company.

  WORST COMPANY EVER!! I bought a 2008 Volkswagen Beetle for $13,000 fron Carmax. After making $460. paynents for 6 years (the lengt of my contract) I was told I needed to pay my over $14,000 balance. Initially I was told they would have me pay tge balance over 1 year with no interest then was told my cosigner, not me the buyer, filed bankruptcy and If I didn't pay the balance they were coming to repo. I was devastated because I love the car but refuse to pay that especially since it should've been paid off. I bought another car since they are "coming to get it" and haven't made a oaynent since September 2022. It's April now and they still haven't called or come. The rep said it's not in repo status? DON'T FINANCE THROUGH SANTANDER! They are fraudulent. I didn't look at the reviews until it was too late. I trusted Carmax wouldn't deal with bad companies. Boy was I wrong!

  One of the worst companies you can finance with, no wonder they're in Texas, where they can get up to no good and get a away with it. All the negative reviews explain the truth about them, all good reviews might be bots sent here to counteract them. As a first time car buyer I didn't know any better about financing after dealing with them after almost a year, *ind another company if you can. If not be prepared tp get ******. Zero stra should be possible on here

  Santander is a scam I paid $15,000 of a $20,000 loan back 2019 and if I missed one payment the interest was crazzzzy it was an extra $400-$500 every time I would be late. I fell behind 6 months and they said it was 9 months and it’s in repo but I have to call them to come I said the can come get it. They refuse to they told me park the vehicle on the street with keys in it whatttttt are y’all nuts. Also they told me they’ll come and get it on the anywhere I’m at but I also paid 509.93 and 330.90 on the the past bill from 6 months. They also never sent a repo letter just insurance claim about total loss of profit and they charged of the account but told me to pay $4600 and everything is fine. So I figure get out this as soon as possible.

  Predatory Loans! RUN!!! At least read some of these reviews. If they ring true, it's because they are.
  I have been a Santander customer for a little over a year now. Never missed a payment. In fact I recently just tried to make an extra payment, you know with a mind towards paying off my loan early.
  An extra payment goes directly towards the principal, right. Not according to them. In fact they did me a favor by taking more of my extra payment for interest then they applied towards my principal. Can you believe that! According to my payment history some months they only apply 16 dollars towards my principal. The other 693 dollars, interest? Can anyone explain that for me?
  It seems that there only interest is in fleecing there customers anyway possible. Just read some of these reviews!!!
  Now I am looking for a way to get away from them, Maybe ask my bank to take over the loan.
  Or take my chances with some other Predatory business that is only interested in fleecing me for whatever they can get.

  This company is not a reasonable company, they lock you in with ridiculous interest rates and fee. I spoke them on Thursday to arrange to make payments to catch up and bring my account current. The next day that called me numerous times in one day. I was diagnosed with a very serious medical issues. They sent a recovery company for my vehicle after I confirmed that I would be making the payment the next day. I offered to catch up on my account and they refused and insisted that I pay them the full balance on the loan. They would not compromise with me at all. They refused my money and told me to find a bank or credit union that will refinance my entire loan. Things happen in life to all of us at any given time. I’m gonna fight this to the end. I did not know I was going to get I’ll. UNBELIEVABLE

  They are absolutely horrible. I make my payments on time or early at times. I have even made a payment that would cover two months. They don't care. They are greedy. I make my payments every month. They constantly harass me all the time. They need to be greatful that I am making my payments like I should. They need to be seriously restructured. I am very responsible in making my payments. I don't get it. I will be happy when my car is payed off because I NEVER want to use them again!

  I have made payment arrangements with this company that they agreed to now two weeks ago. Since then I have received calls and texts and emails from them sometimes twice a day. I do not understand why they keep calling and harassing me when I was told it is noted in my account for when I can pay them more money. I asked this question two days ago, well again on the phone with them and they just hung up. I just payed them two grand with would bring ** to the current month and set up arrangements for that with then yet still call and call and text

  Don't bother with this company. I've dealt with many financing companies and this is by far THE WORST! If I could give them zero stars I would.
