My husband thought that he was ordering tickets from the Delaware State Fair website. He did not realize that it was ticketsales.com until he received the conformation email! It was then that he double checked and saw the he purchased the tickets for 248.00 each. The original tickets were only 44.00. Plus they charged 143.00 processing fee! They are raping people! They need to be shut down! It's absolutely ridiculous.

This website sold me tickets over 200 times the price promising exclusive seating for a rodeo event that when called directly was actually charging 20 a ticket. Not only did they charge me $500 but they also forced me to have them shipped via ups who then lost my tickets and also then when called I was promised by a phone representative that I would have new tickets printed and shipped back out. After 2 weeks of no communication I reached back out only to be told they would do nothing and I was out the 500 dollars. Upon talking with the actual event staff they said they are in no way affiliated with this company and tickets could always be reprinted out and even held at the counter that showing your id would be enough. I bought these tickets for s dying relative who’s always wanted to see this and went way over budget. This is terrible to treat a customer this way.

I bought a 70 dollar ticket which came to be a 97 dollar ticket in the end. Did not disclose a 20 dollar fee and another 7 dollar fee for transaction or whatever.
I looked on the real venue website. They are selling the tickets for 30 dollars. No more than 40.
The show is tomorrow. I wonder if they will even get me my tickets??? This website is a total fraud and it is NOT legit. And has no credibility at all. It is just a random website you google up to try and find tickets. Of course it poses as some official website and shows some tiny fine print paragraph somewhere claiming it is some secondary marketplace. Of course they would!
      DONT DO IT.

They overcharged me and even though I contacted them literally 30 seconds later then refused to change the charge. Then they wasted my time with an online chat when they already knew they would do nothing AND they placed an "automatic payment" agreement with my paypal that I cancelled right away too. They should not be allowed to operate.

TicketSales.com is a total ripoff. We were charged $481.67 for 2 tickets priced at $58.00 each. I would avoid this company at all costs.

      Misrepresented as original seller.
Their website does not indicate they are a reseller until you are processing.
Charged 2x the cost of the tickets with a service charge of $240. The tickets actually went on sale from the venue the day after I purchased. So they are selling tickets and seats they don’t have. To make things worse, the tickets I received were worse than advertised.
Called and waited 25 minutes for them to tell me they couldn’t do anything about it no offer to make things better
This is false advertising and price gouging and poor and unfair customer service.
I will never ever use them again and they should be refunding my money!

My wife purchased two tickets to a venue and paid a total of $262 which included service charge, insurance, and Email delivery. We never received the tickets by email, so we went to the venue anyway with our confirmation letter and the venue had been "Postponed" indefinitely. Since it was not "canceled", they would not refund any money. The "insurance" "policy" they sent us was 27 pages of exclusions and reasons that they would not give any refunds. My advice is, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY with this outfit. It's a scam.

Ticketsales.com is a TOTAL SCAM! I thought I was on the actual venue website since the webaddress is the exact same except for the very end. I thought the show was nearly sold out since the site said SELLING FAST! So i scooped up the cheapest tickets $139 each. Bought 2 tickets, As soon as I paid I saw that I was charge $368.00. I called immediately to get my money back they said no. Later I learned that sales for these tickets had not even started (so much for selling out fast) and that tickets ended up being $41 each. These scammers charged me $268 in service fees! I am IRRATE!

I purchased 6 tickets to a venue as was advertised on the ticketsales.com site table 503 - 6 seats available. Once I completed the purchase I got confirmations that all 6 seats are at a table 503. When I got the tickets on the following day there were 4 tickets at table 503 and 2 tickets at the table 502. In addition to overcharging double the price of the venue + fees, they lie about seating. I called customer service to explain the mistake and asked them to cancel the order, they refused to do so. After reading all BBB complaints and reviews I realized I am not the only one suffering from their lies. Horrible service, will never use them again.

In February I went on line to what I thought was the Overture Center, Madison, website to purchase 6 tickets for my grandchildren to see “The Lion King.” Unbeknownst to me I was on a website, TicketSales.com, that has scammed over 500 customers in the past several months. I had contacted the Overture Center a couple of weeks before the tickets went on sale, inquiring the cost of good tickets. The tickets I wanted were in the Orchestra and were expensive - $155.00. When I ordered my tickets, there was no mention of the cost of the tickets or service charge. As requested, I provided my credit card information and assumed that I would receive a review of purchase information before my order was confirmed. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. When I printed my confirmation email, I was horrified. My charge was $4,457.91! I immediately sent an email stating there had been a huge mistake and wanted to cancel my order. I then called the number provided and was told that there are no cancellations or refunds. I was told that I could always resell the tickets for a profit! However that would be difficult because I may not only is that illegal, but I would not receive them until an hour before the show! Instead of charging me the face value $155/ticket, I was charged $544/ticket, with a service charge of $946.56, and a $14.95 delivery charge!
Today I called the Overture Ticket Office and spoke to the Performance Manager, inquiring if there were rules or restrictions about Third Party reselling tickets. I was told that per Wisconsin Statute 66.0410, the reselling of tickets greater than the ticket’s face value is prohibited. I would like BBB help on this, please, and a full refund for the tickets. Thank you.
