      I was predatorily sold a car repair loan by a ************. I went to ***** to get an estimate and was charged 3000$ in a 187% interest loan and I want it removed. IT was a bait and switch.

      Finance company is the 3rd party involved in lending me money to purchase a washer and dryer. Unfortunately the units did not work the 1st day being dropped off and the retail store doesn't want to reverse payment back to them or pick their faulty machine back up from me keeping me stuck with them.

      American First Finance claims payment was missed, I called the business and started a dispute within the company internally. The business has since faulted the problem to a systematical error, and stated the credit report will show no missed payments and the credit score shall not be affected by the error. They still have not reversed the missed payment and still reflects the missed payment that is in error. Missed payment month July 2024. This has caused my credit to take a terrible drop in the midst of obtaining a mortgage. This was admitted not my fault but still has not been resolved.

      American First Financial has illegally and unknowingly put loan money onto my credit . I received an email stating a payment was due , I had no knowledge of what the email meant . Only to contact them and they say I have a cash loan for $2700.00 and growing every day . I have not requested a loan nor have I signed any paperwork agreeing to one . This company cant/**** provide me with any proof or documentation . Instead they say I have to fill out an identity theft form online . But they are the ones who are fraudulently using my identity and putting predatory loans on me that I never requested . I need help getting this removed/resolved . There customer service just passes you around and doesnt provide any information . They are PREDATORS

      Good day, I made a purchase at American Freight in *****************, **. My total came out to $2015.06 back around April 16, 2024. The account number associated with the purchase is ***********. Fast forward to today, September 16, I called in to get a pay off amount. The payoff amount was almost 3 times the price of the furniture purchased. This is highway robbery, as similar companies that *** worked with, don't conduct their business in this manner. The representative I spoke with, wasn't doing much to try to help the situation. This is an unfair way to conduct business, as we are living in tough times. I would like this company to be investigated, as their business ethics are very concerning. They are robbing their consumers blind. I would like this account to be closed and I will never conduct any type of business with them. i've been making payments weekly, for this purchase, it should be no reason that my balance is still so high. I would love if someone can get to the bottom of this, and try the best to help me get this account settled and closed out.       I entered into a contract with American First Finance after doing business with the eyeglass company, ************** located in ******, *******. Original date of contract: 07/29/2023. Total amount paid to date is $1487.85. The company supplied financing for a complete pair of glasses and the installation of lenses into a pair of glasses that I provided to **************. The business offered me the opportunity to finance the services monthly with the option to have contract paid same as cash if paid within 90 days (10/29/2023). The monthly agreement was $114.45 with a total payoff amount being $581.80, again if paid in full by 10/29/2023). Due to an oversight on my end, that date passed, and I was no longer eligible for the same as cash option. From 11/29/2023 my total payoff amount went from $238.45 to $1173.11 for the extension of the lease. I am not finding that amount to be accurate. I have contacted the company on multiple occasions and each representative and supervisor have been unsuccessful in explaining why my account has not been properly credited even though I have never been late nor missed a payment, in fact, it has been auto drafted since the contract was initiated. I am disputing the balance on the statement ledger because it is not matching the amount on my payment ledger/ banking state statements. Upon asking the supervisor to breakdown the fees shown on my statement in chronological order, the supervisor responded "don't worry about the 1st 3 months listed, they don't count. They are only there for show". No further explanation or clarification has been given, yet a settlement was offered in the amount of $253. This offer made no sense because I have already overpaid beyond what the contract required. I am in need of assistance getting this issue resolved, obtaining a clear and concise answer and closing the contract. Another attempt to clear up this matter was unsuccessful as of the today's date 09/14/2024 yet, settlement of $223 was now offered.

      They are withdrawing money from my account outside of our biweekly payment arrangement. I made a payment then they proceeded to take two additional small payments out of my account without my consent or permission!

      I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. But it was something in response that bothered me , when you stated I read and understood agreement false as I was using a phone on-site because store had no other means so customer don't really see what's being signed! 2 I have two agreements with you and when I spoke to your team yesterday she mentioned credit to my account, But NOBODY MENTIONED THE BASES OF MY COMPLAINT YOU CANT DENY A CONSUMER A PAPER BILL STATEMENT! That is illegal! I also want it in writing that you caused me a financial hardship by doing so because I informed your company of my SUGERY ON 9/12/24 That's why I begin contacting the company one seven weeks prior to get my affairs in order Now it's Nothing I can do until I'm able to go back to work! What about my CREDIT REPORT? As a Consumer I've tried to do my part And it's ridiculous I've had to go through this! Everything will be through MAIL AS YOU STAFF MADE IT WHERE I CANT ACCESS THE ACCOUNT ONLINE! RIDICULOUS

      4-15-24 my leather sectional was delivered. One corner piece was taken back by the driver based on not fitting into the space. I visited the original store 4-16-24 to inform. I was told there was no record of the return and the finance company would be responsible for the credit. I contacted American First Financial. During verify of the account I was informed no info could be given because my social security number was incorrect. I visited the original store to correct. I was informed it was correctly input for financing to occur. I called again to American finance again told my social security number could not be verified no info could be given about the account. This was now after two on time pymnts were made. I called the original store corporate office for support and no return call as of date. Each month from date of purchase I have contacted the financing company being told unable to verify account based on social security number. I was told to send my social security card and drivers license for this to be corrected which was done June 2024. Still unable to get this corrected and making calls to the financing company expressing I have made payments on time to an account I cannot have access to is unacceptable and a violation of my rights I requested for the furniture to be picked up and returned or I would deliver it back to the store both the store refused the return and pushed this matter to American First Financial to resolve. The financing company has failed to provide me access to any online account which angles me the consumer to verify all payment allocation for items and satisfying all balance due. Throughout this process of me trying to gain access to an account I have submitted on time payments, I have requested at least three times to speak with a person in a leadership role to explain the issue and I was denied. I am uncomfortable with this company asking me to provide my social security card and identification a third time.
