  I bought a mattress 8 months ago and it’s complete lost its shape. The mattress manufacturer came to my home and determined that it was in bad enough shape to be replaced. This information was sent to American freight and they replace a namebrand pillow top mattress with one of the worst mattresses I’ve ever seen in my entire entire life and whenever I went to pick up that they just threw my truck and said there you go. Customer service/ store product is bottom of the barrel. Disgusting

  Hello, on or around 9/13/23 I discovered my wood table that I had purchased on 1/7/2022 had a really bad stain, like the wood had bleached out or something, I have a 5yr warranty, so I put in for a claim: ******* – I received a email with this claim number, also in this same email you tell the client you will contact them with updates on your claim:
  “We’ll Keep You Updated
  You will be contacted via email, sms, or push notification with updates throughout the claim process.”
  I never received a email or anything, in fact with all the claims I never received a email or call - I waited, I believe on 11/23 I called but they had no information and told me to put in another claim, On or around 03/01/2024 I put in another claim: ******** this time instead of waiting I contacted the warrantee department and they told me I needed to file another claim with Assurant, so on 3/14/2024 I filed another claim: ******* All Claims have been denied for one reason or another, I keep getting the run-a-round from the company

  A true scam of a company. I went to American Freight for a washer and dryer totaling $1465. I put down $500. I only needed to finance $1000. Somehow, this company financed the entire sum. Ok...the website doesn't provide payment history. They only tell you when your next payment is due and what the buyout sum is. The buyout sum is always wrong. It never reflected my initial $500 and they charge $99 for early buy out. WTF? Why penalize for paying off early? I thought the whole premise was to pay off within 90 days without interest. When I attempted to pay off the lease, the website doesn't give you the option to customize payments. A real set up and bogus website designed to cheat you out of even more money.

  I just paid off my furniture (over $4000) on February 24 all to have my bed side rail break and the legs on the dresser or weak so the dresser will not stand up. I reached out to the warranty department and they had someone come out and claim he needed parts to turn around and send an email a few minutes later to say my bad is not covered under warranty. I have been a loyal customer for a few years and recommend their company a lot to turn around and have a horrible experience and out of $4000

  Although the employees I worked with were extremely friendly and helpful, I bought a clothes washer that started leaking after only 2 months and the extended warranty did not cover the repair and American Freight have not provided any resolution or repairs. I’m left with a $700 machines that leaks all over my floor with every wash. Buyer beware.

  On 7-30-23, I purchased a ************** from an appliance store. The appliance store recommended I financed them through American First Finance. The total finance amount was $1,745.00, American First Finance was drafting $129.31/ biweekly. Ive always set my account to autopay & as of to date I have paid the amount off $1,745.00, Plus more $194.65 additional. As of today American first finance increased my loan fee to $3,598.63. Which means American First Finance is wanting me to pay a total of $5,537.65. Which is three times the amount of the washer and dryers. I feel like this is a predatory company that are scamming honest clients such as myself with predatory interested rates and loans. I dont think this is fair nor is it right. I contacted American First Finance and complained to customer service that this isnt right being they are continuously drafting funds out of my account they offered to turn my autopay off and they also threatened with hitting my credit score if this amount isnt paid off in full. If your planning on doing business with American First Finance stay far away.

  Steer clear of them. Here is a simple breakdown of the basics:1) There is no option to pay the balance off early unless you pay the balance in whole.2) They assess a $5 per day penalty for as long as you have an outstanding balance example: 31 days in March multiplied by $5 = $155 364 days per year = $1,820 per year for any balance owed whether it's $1000 or $1 3) There is a 100% interest rate per year (as told by the customer service agent)I thought I would have a $1,400 loan paid off in about 7 months by making $200 monthly payments. You could imagine my surprise finding out that only $50 was going towards the actual balance after the $5 daily fee was added. In essence after the start of the loan in mid December 2023, my remaining balance is still above $1,300 instead of the $800, I foolishly thought was remaining after making $600 in payments so far.American First is a bear trap for your wallets. STAY AWAY!!!!All this information was gathered on 03/22/2024.

  This company is the worst I've ever seen. They are just there to steal from people. How will someone keeps paying and instead of debt reduction, it's debt increasmemt? I regret ever financing with them and I am advising the public to stop financing with them because they will steal everything from your account even after you pay off

  I had a bed and layaway if they sold anything oh my bed I was told I would get a price match or a replacement of the same value. Instead I had to put $200 more on layaway for a junky mattress when it had a Nordic mattress to begin with. When I went to pay my bed off all this happened. So I said I wanted to put the mattress and lay away and I wanted to get the bed Friday well they told me they wasn't going to give me the headboard to the bed until I pay off the mattress layaway which makes no sense cuz that wasn't the deal we made just a few days ago. So my husband who has been sleeping in the chair for over a year who has cancer does not get the bed that way we were promised. If we get a refund we have to wait for a check in the mail which can take forever which we were going to take and buy a bed somewhere else but who knows how long that's going to be. I didn't get my refund because they closed the store early and we're just staring at me at the door like I was an idiot.
