This is the second complaint I am filing on this company. We canceled the contract when we purchased Battlefield Storage. I was being billed for the month after the contract was terminated. After my first compliant, i was called by the company and they reversed that month's invoice. Now they are charging a late fee on a non-existent bill. I need this to be removed, please.Business Response

THRYV **** We have been trying to cancel your services for over a year. We have mailed, called and gave confirmed verbal's over the phone of cancelation as requested in your Bill's and paperwork. Yet you refuse to comply and now sending me a bill for another year of service. Your Company is deliberately scamming customers on on outdated products to keep as many people hanging on as possible. Please remove our Bill that we did not ask for and honor our cancelation from last year. I am going to request the states inspector General look into your unfair business practices and beginning to think a class action lawsuit maybe in order against your company. Especially from reading other complaints of this multiple times.Business Response

I have asked THRYV to cancel my account because theyre starting to bill me more than we agreed upon. Theyre not living up to their end of the agreement that we made and they have terrible business practices. They are getting ready to debit out of my credit card for the next two months, even though I have canceled my account.Business Response

10/23/2024 bill sent to *********** Mini Storage total $1,226.41 (most currently billing $1,295.50) from The Real Yellow Pages, A Thryv, Inc. Brand. We are ********************, the company that purchased Castle Rock Mini Storage, ********************************************************** executed contract has been provided to us and we did not agree to engage The Real Yellow Pages, A Thryv, Inc. Brand. The previous owner's agreement/arrangement with The Real Yellow Pages, A Thryv, Inc. Brand is not our agreement. Given the many letters, telephone calls from the company and their collection agent, ************************* ************, we will not do business with The Real Yellow Pages, A Thryv, Inc. Brand. We cancelled our services with Thryv in 2023. Last year, we had to change our domain name, because they own it now. This means business cards, truck lettering, clothing, everything had to be changed - this was expensive. After doing ALL of our own research, we figured out how to claim our domain name back from this company. Now we pay a service to redirect our web traffic to our new website, the only work around we could find. When we cancelled with them there was NO mention of them holding our domain name and now ultimately all of our social media profiles, apparently forever. TWO years later after cancellation, we have been trying to work with another company for advertising, and to our shock, we find out that Thryv still holds claim over our ******** profile and page. Numerous emails and phone calls have been made requesting them to give us back control over our social media page, no response. Our logo is ours, we were founded in 1977,also our company is a family name. So it is pretty hard to just restart or remake a profile page WHEN THIS IS OUR FOUNDERS ACTUAL NAME. We just want our profiles back, any work they may have done during our subscription we don't want. Just our social media page please, and anything else they lay claim over we haven't found yet. Please read the fine print when signing contracts. Yes, we signed a contract for services with them years ago, no, we did not realize we were signing our entire identity away.Business Response

Thank you for allowing us to address the 2 concerns. We have spoken with our client to resolve the issues. 1) Anytime we register a URL domain for a clients website, its under Thryv's control. But if a client cancels their website, we will release the domain once requested. It appears there was a breakdown in communications on this process by Thryv. The domain was released to our client on 1/4/2024. 2) If Thryv creates a ******** page for our client, it will be released to them after they cancel the program and ask for control rights. Our business has tried to cancel the "marketing" services that are being provided by Thryv for over a year but we are continually told that we signed a contract for the service. We have asked numerous times for a copy of said contract and every person tells us they don't have easy access to it and it would have to be researched. We have never received a call back providing this supposed contract but we do continuously receive phone calls about a balance due. They are now threatening to turn me over to a collection agency. This is NOT a service I signed up for and I paid for it through automated payments for months before realizing the scam in place. Since I removed my credit card number from the account, they have been harassing me for payment. I want the balance due removed from the account and the account deleted. My next step will be to contact the attorney general in my state and follow up with legal action.Business Response

Thryv replaced DexYP which in turn replaced an earlier operator of the Yellow Pages that I had advertised my law practice with since 2006. In October 2024 I contacted them terminating my account/contract, something they acknowledged by email at the time. Nonetheless, I kept getting bills from them, so in January I sent them a certified letter requesting they cease and desist. A couple weeks later I received two emails from two different individuals informing me that I continued to be bound by a contract term that ends in August 2026, but that I could be released from that contract if I went through a convoluted form drill. I have no recollection of ever signing such a contract and they have refused my request to send me a copy of it. Presently they have started harassing me with ******* phone calls seeking to collect on bills for charges ostensibly incurred since I terminated my account. Beginning in October 2024, Thryv has been billing for a canceled contract. I have contacted them repeatedly to stop but they never reply except to send another bill. I have finally gotten them to stop sending new bills but they are sending a bill with late fees and threatening collections on a bill that we do not owe. Being billed $79.52 for 3 months of service after canceling for a total of $238.56.On 11/01/24 I officially cancelled from Thryv after 6 previous tries in 24'. They are really good at answering the phone then directing you to someone else who says, someone isn't in that day they will call me back tomorrow, and being lied that I was offically cancelled only to see they kept taking money out of my account.I have been stolen and cheated from, I imagine they do this to many customers after reading all the complaints.All I want is my money back that has been stolen from me.Business Response

On January ****** I callers thryv to cancel the service. I was told I would be charged for 4 days of the month, fine ok! Which they said would be about 100 dollars! Now here I am on February 4th and they withdrew 400 from my account for the month. I called again to tell them I. Per our terms and conditions,we require 30 days notice of cancelation, we show our client contacted us on January 2, 2025, and a cancel request was submitted with the program being canceled on February 1, 2025.
