      On September 9/2024 I paid Thryv for their marketing services in the amount of $484 to launch their business center and marketing. I paid again in October in the amount of $237. The website was complimentary according to them for hiring them for marketing. As of December 2024 my website literally sat there untouched with 1 view , as I myself am familiar with doing analytics and how it works. I was repeated told that it was my job to Link my social media accounts to my site and that was the reason id had no views not communication from potential clients, calls etc because I needed to add these. Well my wife and I were forced to do this on our own which was their job. No marketing was done at all and the website literally sat there not being monitored or worked on on the back end as promised. For this reason I canceled and requested a full refund, each time facing rudeness and incompetent advocates that contradicted what another said. They are crooks. I paid for services not rendered yet they refuse to acknowledge their lack of work on my marketing. It's the worst decision I ever made in hiring them for my business. I also asked for an original document with my original signature indicating a contract which they claim I had. They failed to provide it because there is not one. They also based a so called agreement on the basis of a text message and not an email. Their stories continue to change. Yet they fail to refund mo ey I paid for services NOT rendered.

We were able to advise our client of what work had, in fact, been done to the software and also advised our client that when the payments ceased,the advertising is removed offline after 14 days of non-payment. A cancellation has been set for our client and a mutual settlement was agreed upon to close the account. No further charges are due on the account.       Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to reach out to our client regarding their concerns with our company and their representative. After multiple conversations with our client, they have only expressed concern over the representative not returning their calls.  We understand as stated by our client, that several hours were spent with the representative determining how they would like their website to appear and what they would like to see appear on their social media page.  However, during our conversations with our client, when asked if there were any errors in the advertising or if changes were not made, we never received any response besides that their representative has not returned the calls and they are unsure.

      During these conversations, our client was advised we could pull up the advertising and make any changes or review everything with them via a Zoom call.  Each time our client advised it was either:  not a good time, wanted the other person present, or we would need to call back or send an email and they would let us know when both would be in the office and give us a day so this could be done.  After numerous attempts to assist with resolving this complaint, we have yet to be advised by our client when they will be available to have a Zoom call so all the advertising can be viewed and make any necessary changes.   

      In reviewing our records from 01/01/2022 forward, we do not reflect any disputes regarding the performance of the advertising.  On 12/11/2024 was the first contact by our client requesting a new business advisor be assigned to their account then followed by disputes due to no contact by the business advisor.  At no time during these calls was anyone made aware of an issue that they could have assisted with a resolution. Without being provided with the issue and a time they are available so this can be correct we are unable to go any further.  We have attached a copy of the text verification where our client authorized the advertising since our client stated he was not provided a copy of the contract.  There's no paper contract as this is authorized via a text being sent to the telephone number our client provides, then our client receive the message stating the product, contract term and monthly amount to be charged along with a verification code they provide to the representative to key their order.  Our terms and conditions for this purchase is also attached.  Thank you

      I had my first video call with Thryv on 12-02-2024. It was to go over how they could help me with marketing and online presence for my website. After introduction, I made a payment of $371.00 for the *************** and Onboarding Fee. My second meeting was on 12-06-2024. More discussion on how to create online presence for marketing. They tried to set up a profile but there was a error message from ******. Third meeting was 12-13-2024. More discussions on marketing and branding. They wanted me to create several media platforms and mailing list and link them all to there platform including my website. I told them that I would think about it. My next meeting was on the 12-16-2024. I was conflicted with that process and thinking about the pros and cons of that. While trying to decide what to do, I had an unforeseen crisis with family that was going to cloud my judgement moving forward so I canceled the upcoming meeting and contacted them to canceled my account. It's not that I wanted a refund. I am ok with paying the fee I paid for the time spent, even though at that point nothing was really accomplished. I just should not have to make a payment for the next five months for something I'm no longer linked up to. I was under the impression I hade 30 days. That was not made clear to me and I had the account for less than 15. They finally reached out to me on 12-26-2024 and told me they were going to bill me on the second day of each month for the next five months anyway. I think am being very fare and reasonable. Thryv says that It's motto is ( We are not happy if your not happy) and this is what they do to people. Can not make sense of that. That doesn't sound helpful at all. I just want to move on with this account as paid and closed.

      THRYV CONTINUES TO BILL ME FOR A SERVICE I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I HAVE REQUESTED BY EMAIL AND TELEPHONE THAT THEY STOP SENDING ME BILLS FOR SERVICES I DID NOT AUTHORIZE OR REQUEST. THEY CONTINUE TO SEND ME BILLS WITH INVOICE NUMBERS AND NO ACCOUNT NUMBER. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS SERVICE AND THEY REFUSE TO STOP SENDING ME INVOICES MONTHLY SINCE AUGUST 2024. I ALSO HAVE TOLD THEM I WILL NOT PAY THESE INVOICES. I DON'T WANT WHATEVER SERVICE THEY PUPPORT TO BE CHARGING ME FOR. I WANT THE INVOICES TO BE ZEROED OUT FOR SERVICES NOT AUTHORIZED AND FOR THEM TO STOP SENDING ME INVOICES.

      I canceled the service with the company.They continue to auto renew my account even though it was canceled over the phone. They will not send me any proof of contract or any reason to why my cancelation request is not being processed. In August ***************************************************************************************************** the cancelation was approved. Today December 17th 2025 they are telling me i have a contract with them until August 2026. This was not approved by me. This company is a scam. Please let people be aware of this ongoing scam.

      Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to resolve our client's print advertising concern.  I spoke with our client and went over how this advertising has been billing since 2016.  This advertising has been auto-renewing for years.  We did advise our client of an Acknowledgment letter being mailed on 11/15/2022 for the 2023 issue as we had no valid email address on file.  

      Since our client could not provide an exact date or the name of the person they requested the cancellation, we were able to reach a mutual agreement with no further billing to our client.  We confirmed the cancellation was submitted on December 17, 2024 and will not auto-renew.  Thank you

      My contract for an advertisement in the Cheyeene, WY directory expired. I received no notice of the expiration nor was I provided with a draft for possible corrections to that ad. I was informed today, contrary to what I had been told in a prior conversation, that the contract automatically renewed and I would **** to continue psying $190 a month until October 2025.

      Thryv listed my phone number incorrectly. ************! I ******* this phone number, and it's connected to another business, in another city. They are refusing to fix the problem. Although this number they installed does not belong to me, they insist that this phone number does actually connect to my business, and that it's a "tracking" phone number that THEY installed, without my permission, so they can keep track of my calls! I have had the same phone number 46 years. I did not authorize, and would never in a million years, authorize a different phone number in my listing, and they are insisting it's ok. I do not want anyone using this assigned tracking number as my contact! I called this company several times, have spent over two and a half hours on the phone with various ***resentatives. The last *** I spoke with was ******, and she said I cannot end my contract. By the way, there is no contract. I have signed nothing with this company. It's all based on good faith, and good faith does not exist with these people. After refusing to return my payments, I had to contact my credit card company for help. I have a provisional credit for the amount I was billed by Thryv, until the credit card company is done with their investigation. ****** has now threatened me with collections. Do not do business with this company!

      Thryv is continually billing multiple times a month with different account #'s. 3 times in November totalling $221.70 claiming to be The Yellow Pages. Billed Acct#******* = $54.88 PAID 11/5/24 Billed Acct#********* = $98.73 PAID 11/3/24 Billed Acct#********* = $68.09 PAID 11/13/24 Billed Acct#********* = $7.69 due Dec 18, 2024 Please refund the money.

Since that was a legal document we reached out to him regarding this BBB dispute.       Cant make millions of dollars when they try to charge u twice as much then make up excuses why they over charge and non of them match then avoid talking to the customer for ****** then suspend ur account yeah real customer service never would i recommend this company after 5 years i will be seeking a new firm this place has no real customer service no one can help they just transfer u over and over

      Thank you for the opportunity to review and respond to our clients concerns. We have outlined a history of the account charges below:

      Our clients November 2020 (initial) charge was $2,249.00.This included the $250.00 onboarding fee in which all clients are charged. Our client paid $1999.00 for the annual membership fee in addition to the $250.00 onboarding fee.

      Our client was credited for 1 month of $199.00 and also credited for the onboarding fee in August 2021. This placed a credit on the account of $449.00. When the November 2021 charge was taken, the credit of $449.00 was first applied to the $1999.00 charge so that only a charge of $1550.00 was taken for this annual amount.

      In November 2022 another payment was taken for $1999.00 as well as November 2023.

      Our client was sent an email on 8/1/2024 regarding a price increase for their current program. Our client had not received a price increase in the last 4 years so this was new, however a notification was emailed to our client. Our records indicate the client opened this email at 6:31 PM on 8/1/2024 and the email appears to be read regarding the price increase.

      This year our client was charged $2199.00 instead of the previous years $1999.00. This was a total increase of $200.00 over the entire year coming out to a little over $16.66 a month increase. The belief was that there was a $1000 increase from previous years.

      While attempting to explain this information to *******, the call was moved to Rich.He understood the charges and agreed the increase was only $200. We reached an agreement to take steps to unlock the program now and the client would be able to bring the account current in a few days.
