      I noticed a charge on my credit card in the amount of $99.95 to an obscure company called Active Advantage (legal name is Active Network LLC). I had not approved this charge nor had I ever heard of this company. I checked my spam email folder and see a handful of emails from this company asking me about my free trial. I went on their website and have never seen any of the information before, have no previous record of logging into the website, and they cannot provide me with any historical information on their site about how they obtained my information. I do not, to this day, know how they obtained my personal information, including my credit card, and would like to be refunded the money that they charged me (annual serivce).

      During registration for an event, Active signed me up for a 30-day trial of its paid membership, at no point was I informed they would be enrolling me nor an option to decline. I only discovered this when a charge for $99.95 appeared on my credit card statement. I did not choose to sign up for the membership trial and see now that this is automatically selected in an obscure part of the registration form. Research reveals years of similar complaints and shows Active has been engaged in this unethical and deceptive practice for years. I requested a cancellation of my membership and will be pursuing legal action if it is not honored. This report is intended as a warning to others about Actives registration scam. When i went to their website the only way to request a refund is to email them, i am not emailing my private information to a random email.

      Unexpected charge from ACTIVE Network (PENDING-03/31 ACT*AADV ***** E-$99.95) this morning on our bank account, realized this has been a common occurrence and others have been experiencing this lately. Reporting to help realize the extent of this issue.

      This broker is a scam if only I had read about them before going into trade with them. they keep telling me to deposit more of my funds.. After I read about them and concluded and decided to reach out to Mrs. ****** after I read so many reviews on how She has helped a lot of victims.       Was charged $99.95 unexpectedly. Traced it back to a date when I signed my kid up for summer camp. There was no confirmation or notice that I had signed up for any trial of anything - whatever this is - or that my credit card would be stored and charged. I'm surprised that organizations are still using active for their sign **** we have one local summer camp that just started using this platform, and I will be alerting them to this privacy risk.

      I was unknowingly enrolled in an annual membership, and I have not been able to get in contact through either phone or email with their customer service to receive a refund now that I have cancelled my membership.

      I dont know how, but I was charged $99.50 for a subscription that I never knowingly signed up for. I dont have an account with them. Their phone number redirects you to email them, which I have done immediately. Im surprised and afraid that they have my credit card ******** can this be legal? Someone needs to do something about this This screams scam!

      I was automatically charged for a year's subscription to this company's services. The one email they sent me notifying that they had already charged me went to my spam folder. I did not consent to this charge, I did not opt to enroll in a full year's subscription. I have contacted the company and asked my credit card for a charge back.

      I received a charge of ***** on my credit card and have no clue what it is for. This is fraud. Ive reached out the the email for cancellation and refund and have not had a response. This seems to be a pattern with this company.
