      I signed up for summer camps for my children on 2/26/2025 around 11 am. I paid with a credit card and was charged a $112 "service fee" without realizing it. I thought those were credit card service charges, so canceled those immediately (within minutes) and resigned them up and paid with a bank account and were charged a second time for th "service fee". I did not see those charges were nonrefundable until you scroll way down the page. I tried to contact the Active support service, and received the same "sorry, too bad" response. This is definitely a shady business practice with zero remorse. Most business will refund service charges will you cancel the entire order (within minutes). Not to mention I ended up being charged TWICE!

      This company is unknowingly charging people for subscriptions they did not sign up for. There is no direct way to a customer service representative and they do not respond to emails.

      Got a renewal charge for some kind of service that I have never signed up for. Seems to be some sort of scam, no type of contact or invoice or any service provided. Once I noticed it I realized they took out same amount last year. This type of unauthorized withdrawal is unacceptable!

      Active Advantage used predatory tactics to obtain information, including banking information, and charged me $99.95 on 2/18/25 & 2/18/24. I do not recall ever signing up for their services. I was told by ******* I had to contact the company directly. I found this company online and could log into the account; however, it says I have not joined, yet they charged me twice as a member. I phoned them; however, they stated they only take complaints via e-mail at ******************************************** I did email them requesting cancelation and refund but have not received a response.

      On August 23, 2024 I paid to participate in a Bubble Run race in **** for February 22, 2025. They charged me $58.00. Then on September 22, 2025, they charged me $99.95 for a subscription I never signed up for. I also have no documentation allowing to be charged this amount or a receipt from the business. My credit card alerted me of a suspicious charge. Then without notice, they changed the date for the race to October 11, 2025. To ensure no additional charges would occur, I had to cancel my credit card and wait for a new one to arrive. I have emailed the business 3 times without any response for a refund. I am not in ****** on October 11 when the race date has changed. This is very disappointing as the last one we participated in had no issues. But now I never want to participate in fear of being scammed in paying for something they do not deliver.

      I am rejecting this response because: Active is not taking accountability for the companies that use their platform that provide false events/products. By contacting the link they provided, they will respond that I will need to contact the company who hosted the event. Please note I have already tried that route a month ago and have not heard a response back. Therefore, if my credit card was charged by Active, I expect this company to be responsible in providing a refund if the company does not respond. As there is no one in ****** or a local representative to speak with, I am unsure how I will receive a refund for an event that is not occurring on the date that was posted.

      I paid for an annual membership that is supposed to offer multiple benefits like free socks, a $50 coupon for movies and restaurant, and a recent offer of a $25 gift certificate. I have tried numerous times to use the codes provided for the $50 coupon and $25 coupon but they never work. I then reached out to their support team for help and they've provided new codes that also do not work. After attempting to resolve it with them multiple times, they have told me the manager is working on buying new codes but I have not received a response back yet. The coupon code they offered for the $25 gift certificate also does not work. At this point, I am reporting this company for fraudulent advertising and offer of benefits that they have not provided. Their customer service, while somewhat responsive, has not provided a real solution and makes false claims.

      I have a Recurring charge that I never knowingly signed up for. This is the most recent one, but I also just discovered that I was charged last year for the same amount. I did not ever approve this recurring charge.

      I was just notified by my bank that a charge of $99.95 was charged to my card from *******. I've never heard of, nor do I know what this charge is for. I would like this taken off immediately. It is ridiculous that this company IS STILL doing this after being sued for it.

      I purchased a Tough Mudder ticket for ******** for the 2025 season. Tough Mudder canceled the event and refused to offer a refund of any sort. The stated I could transfer my ticket to another event, but they have no events in the state of ******** and request participants travel to other states. I requested a second time for a refund and was denied. "They stated "as part of our strategy to grown Tough Mudder's reach and impact, we've made the tough choice to streamline our lineup and channel resources into markets where participation is strong, and demand is growing"They are stealing from individuals who booked smaller, less popular states to fund larger metro areas. Unbelievable and incredibly disappointing.
