Signed me up for a membership that I did NOT consent too! I had to use them for a one time transaction for a marathon and they put me on a membership 30 days later without my consent or being aware of it! ABSOLUTE SCAM!!

Much like everyone else here, I was auto signed up for this predatory company twice. I was able to catch it the first time, but missed it the second. This company should be investigated for their predatory approach to getting members.

Innocently sign up for a run and get charged for something I didn't want. Scam. Why can they still do this?

Thieves. Cancelled event, refuses to issue refund. We are out over 200$ and they wont even respond to a BBB complaint.

I signed up for a Bubble Run (which is a scam in itself) and the sign-up was through Active. They proceeded to charge me $100 for a membership I DID NOT approve. I only used this site to sign up for the run, but they must take your payment info and charge memberships to it as well.

This company is associated with the tough Mudder races and issues memberships to participants for $99. Canceling is difficult at best and their website for changing membership details has many broken links. Ive seen multiple emails asking for cancelation and refunds and the disregard my request and respond thanking me for my patronage and explaining their benifits. Total crooks!

This company is a fraud! This company is scamming people by enrolling them in a membership and charging them $99. I do not even know what this company is or how they got my information. None of their phone lines work, they state they are unavailable by phone due to workforce restrictions in an automated message. They do not respond to any emails. There should be a lawsuit brought against this company.

I had a similar experience to those below. I signed my child up for a summer camp with a local small non-profit. I paid for the summer camp through the Active Network system, and then was billed an annual membership fee. This fee was not transparent. I would have not paid $89.95 to sign my child up through an automated system. Using *************** tends to be closer to a $5 transaction fee. If anyone catches this in time, your bank and credit card company will typically reverse charges if you catch it within a certain time period. Unfortunately, I didn't catch it in time. If you feel you were treated unethically, you may want to contact your state consumer protection regulators.

Apparently they have an add on Florida State Parks Reserve America site. I have been an unknowing member for 3 years thinking it was a scam with very vague emails. I had another account created this year in May but caught the free trial email and said NO WAY, cancelling immediately. I dont do subscriptions and would have never knowingly signed up for this.
