Contacted OGD and was transferred. I left a voicemail but did not receive a call back. I then sent an email requesting a Manager to call me. Instead I received an email asking from a customer service rep asking me what door I was looking for. (according to *** this person was a manager but uses the title in his email as customer service rep). I again repeated my request for a manager to call me. Still no call. I proceeded to ********* customer service. Bottom line is they are sorry I don't agree with how they don't communicate. If getting someone to talk to you on the phone is this difficult for a sale I can only imagine what it would be like it if had a warranty issue

They are ********. They charged 399 dollars to put back 2 rollers and safety inspection and half an hour labor.Never ever call them or they should be regulated and disciplined.

A belt on one of the doors was missing some gear teeth so it would start and stop.Called OGD of ********************- they only charge $35 to come out and estimate. They have shop here too Athens.A Repair man came out- I was with my elderly Uncle- it was his door. I asked the guy for an estimate to replace the belt- since nothing else was wrong..just old. He quoted $329! I asked why so much? I can get a new one at ****** for $175 and installed for $75. He was evidently not used to someone knowing prices of things- a belt for these run $55-90. Takes about 30 minutes to put it on. Only a few bolts to loosen and a cover to remove over the drive. This guy became rude and asked why am I asking questions? This is what it was. I said- any discounts ?> oh yeah - 10% discount for senior! What else was he charging for? He said the rail was bent and needed to be replaced- ? Where is the rail bent? it has been working for 15 years without a problem. He could not show me- just said - I gave you a price- I can discount it another $30 - $299. I said just the belt is all we want replaced -how much? He got his calc. back out. $270!. I said that is some belt. No thanks. I will pay your $35. i will get a belt and install it myself- which my Uncle did not want to bother me in the first place about. He asked- You think you can put on a belt - I said I have installed 3 openers completely before and did work on **** contracts for years - I think this is cakewalk. I was ordering belt in 5 minutes. He was still calculating things and talking to his supervisor about this. He went to he truck and started backing out the long drive I was just walking to my vehicle parked on the front drive - not even talking to him or anything. As he backing out- he yells- get away from my truck! Do not follow me! I wasn't doing anything..I said you are one bad dude huh. Stop trying to rip of seniors! These simple machines are not complicated. $64 Belt --free ship. Installed 25 min.

I feel like I've been a part of a "bait and switch" scam. I called to see if I could get someone to come and just reset the code on my remote keypad garage door opener. A guest accidentally hit the program button and it wouldn't work. I called and was told there would be a $50 service fee, plus the cost of fixing the problem...such as replacing the keypad, or adjusting the motor, etc. I told the person on the phone, it just needs to be reset. It took the repairman minutes to do this and the charge was $275! I asked him why so much? He said he had to check the motor, and he oiled the joints and checked everything to make sure everything was in good working order. I told him that I didn't request any of that, and he said they ALWAYS do that on any service call. So, I said, well should I have been told that when I called and that the service call will actually cost over $200? So, he gave me a discount and it only cost $245. They claim to be a member of BBB.

BUYER BEWARE!!!Always, always call several companies before deciding who to use!!! I didn't and I paid through the nose. Both springs on my garage door broke yesterday, and I called OGD. ***** told me that they charge $50 to come out to see what's needed. He quoted me $600 to replace them. It was an exorbitant price, and I paid it against my better judgement. Shame on me! It took him about 15 minutes to replace the springs and he lubricate all the rollers on my door. I have no complaints about his work. He was courteous and quickly made the necessary repairs. I do, however, have complaints about the company for whom he works.Don't know if I would have a leg to stand on in small claims court, but I'm going give it some thought. It has price gouging written all over it!

Our garage messed up on Sunday and we called OGD for repair. Joe ******** was the man who came out and fixed it. He was honest, hard working and very proffesional. We had a great experience and can't thank Joe and OGD for their services. Also VERY fairly priced!

WHOM EVER SEES THIS POST. Do not use this company. Brand new work was done back in November of 2022 and they did shoddy work. We bought the house from the previous owner and was told by the previous owner to call to get the door that has failed from their work and refuses to cover their craftsmanship or parts because they do not transfer the warranty. This is extremely unprofessional considering we just bought the home with us being told that new belts, motors and springs were replaced. Stay away from companies that refuse to back their work. They claim they are accredited on the BBB with their website and they have 1.9 stars. This company is a ripoff.
