      My son bought a game and today he went to pick it up, they ware giving some hats away and when my son ask for one the Employe told him that he was giving them randomly and refuse to give him one, its not about getting it its the way he said it to him, he was rude and impolite, worst custumer service ever.

      On 10/19/2022, we ordered a refurbished ******** Switch Lite Gray (sku ******) from Gamestop.com (order number for $220.48. We received a package on Monday 10/24/2022. When we opened the package, we found a box for a preowned ******** Switch Lite Gray with a handwritten sticker that that said display. Inside the ******** Switch box, there was a charging cable, but no game device. We called ********************* customer service to report the missing item. The representative from Gamestop asked if we would like a replacement or a refund, and we requested a replacement. This call took place at 5:05 pm (CST) on 10/24/22. At 7:43 am on 10/25/22, we received the following email:Upon further investigation of your order, your request for a replacement has been denied. The carrier is claiming delivery to the full address listed on the order. We recommend that you contact the carrier. ****************GameStop When we called on 10/25/22 to inquire about our request, we were told that a manager would call us back. After waiting two days, we called again on 10/27/22 to inquire about the claim. We were told that the ************************** had closed the claim, and there was nothing they could do about it. When we asked about opening a new claim so that they could do a more thorough investigation, we were told that was not possible. They did not investigate their own service. It appears that all they did was check that the carrier had shipped a package. Of course, a package was shipped, but the box did not contain the product we ordered. This problem has nothing to do with the carrier. No one at Gamestop seemed to want to help us resolve this issue. They have stolen $220.48 from us.

      I ordered a Garmin watch that was listed as an in stock item that would be delivered in two business days. That was 30 days ago. The order is listed as "in progress" and has been since the day I ordered. It has never been shipped. GameStop does not answer the phones on their help line. It takes two weeks to respond to every email inquiry. Their response is to send the order number (even though the interaction is directly in the order confirmation). I send the order number then they say they can't cancel without my cell phone number. Two weeks later I get a message saying if I still need help to contact them. Well, the order hasn't been cancelled so yes I need help. Then they tell me they can't cancel the order because it is in progress as it has been since 9/26. I have purchased the item elsewhere. I simply want the order cancelled so that GameStop stops renewing a $200 hold on my debit card every week for an item that is clearly not going to be sent. My bank and PayPal can't do anything because the money is only being held and never actually removed from my account. The only recourse is for GameStop to cancel the order, which they refuse to do. I have always used GameStop to purchase online because the prices were good and the shipping was always lightning fast. I will never buy anything online from them again. The most horrible experience with any company that I have ever had.

      I ordered a used game online and was sent an empty game case. I called in (45min wait time) and the agent was sent out another copy of the game. The second copy arrived and did not wor. I called support again and they said they were unable to issue another copy due to some ***** in their system since there was already a replacement issued but that they coudl refund me the amount, implication being I could just repurchase from their site and start the process over.The hitch is that the refund would be less the shipping and handling fee I initially paid, which makes no sense. This refund was issued due to defective product, not buyers remorse. On that call, I was able to speak a supervisor who I went back and forth on. They initally offered to issue the lessor refund plus a series of Gamestop points which, when converted, were still not equal to my initial expense. Finally the supervisor said that he would be able to issue a refund for the original amount I paid. I additionally asked for an email to have a paper trail which they sent I thought the issue would be resolved.A few minutes after, they sent a second email just changing what their refund was back to the initial lesser refund amount plus some Gamestop credit.It felt like the supervisor just told me what I wanted to hear to get me off the phone and was even willing to lie to me in an email about it. At this point, my only reasonable recourse was to use the credits to try and repurchase the product which hopefully will just work this time.I had been a frequent customer of ******************** for years but this will be my last purchase from them. Horrible work product, horrible service.

      Terrible service. I bought a promotional pack online which arrived opened and the inside code used already, the store refused the return BECAUSE it was opened already. Their online live chat is offline, no one ever responds to emails, and calling takes up to, or over an hour on hold. Their hours are only monday-friday 9-5 now so good luck even getting someone on your lunch break.

      I ordered the new madden game this year and it did not show up. Tracking showed delivered so I submitted a lost package claim with the carrier (as instructed) and they referred me back to GameStop. GameStop took no accountability in the whole endeavor. I wasted hours on hold and sending emails back and forth to no prevail. I asked for a refund and GameStop support would not help me at all. I will never buy from them again.

      If I could give negative ratings I would. I made a purchase on the 11th of September for around $65. It was supposed to be a 3 to 5 business day delivery. After the 5th business day (so the 6th day) I tried calling their customer service number and was on the line for over 30 mins with no answer. I decided to contact them through email an explain my situation. After a few days I recieved a generic response stating my tracking info and to give it another few days. So after another week of waiting I tried calling again and again was met with no answer. So I tried emailing again this time stating I wanted a refund! And after a few days I recieved another generic response as if the "person" responding didn't even read what I had wrote in the email and proceeded to state the same info they had sent in the 1st email. A few days later ( weeks after I initially made the purchase) I recieved an email from the carrier they use stating my package was delivered on the 16th of September! Keep in mind it was already the 29th of September when i got that email! Makes no sense that they would email me 13 days after the supposed delivery date! So I emailed them a 3rd time expressing I want my money back because I never received my package and I'm not even recieving any kind of help from gamestop or their ridiculous mail carrier. I am writing this complaint while currently on the phone for 15 mins already with their customer service department that has yet to answer the **** phone! Gamestop stole my money and there seems to be no way for me to get a refund.

      Hello my name is ******************** brought a iPhone 11 Pro *** from GameStop online and it stop working 6 months later. So I return the phone and they issue me a corporate check that was suppose to been here October 7, 2022. The phone was returned months ago. The corporate check was mailed on September 30, 2022 as I was told. I called again and they said should be no later then October 14, 2022. Now there saying it takes 4 weeks. Im convinced there isnt no corporate check coming. I need help with this one please!

      I am not happy with GameStop I ordered 3 items online a couple weeks later look at my bank account transactions and it says recurring payment of the exact amount I paid for my 3 items of ***** and says card info stored by merchant. Why would it be recurring payment for 3 items I have already paid for . So I see the phone number listed on by bank information I call this number to see why my one time payment is listed as recurring and that phone number listed says its blocked and has restricted calls by my phone number at this time this is very shady . I try to complain to there corporate offices no one picks up phone! SHADY SHADY!

      I'm not even sure they actually have online customer service! I place an order for a figure that said it was in stock for shipping. After a week with no update to the shipping status, I went to check the order and figure in my account. The figure still showed that it could be purchased online and was in stock for shipping. In the order status it said awaiting product though. a week later there was still no update, still the same order status, and the figure still showed it could be purchased and was in stock. During this time I sent an email to the customer service department to see what was going on. I got no response. I also tried calling customer service a couple times but no one picked up. As of a few days later the figure now shows unavailable. My order still shows awaiting product though. I've sent another email, to which I've gotten no response, and tried calling a number of additional times with no answer. I've sent two emails and spent at least an hour on hold and have gotten zero response from anyone. How can they run a business this way?
