      ******** worst customer service experience. My item was supposed to be shipped in 1-3 days2 weeks later it hasnt even been sent to courier and nobody can tell me when I can receive it or even process a refund. **************** is absolutely horrible no help they just keep giving you the run aroundDO NOT BUY FROM GAMESTOP ONLINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give them 0 stars or negative I would!!!

      I went into GameStop to get my system replaced which is still under warranty, I was told that in December of last year they changed the warranty system to where instead of a new system they will replace it with a used system, so even with the warranty your losing money purchasing the system warranty.

      PRE ordered a game (far cry 6) for my son YEARS AGO- like after it was STALLLLED from being released the initial date, however.. because the game continued to be delayed, I did not get any updates EVER from gamestop about the issue. Well, when I DID contact them in November 2021, I responded with the information the *** requested and I never heard a ***ly. I was just cleaning out an old purse and ran across that particular cardso of course when I called, there was no balance so I emailed (and forwarded the initial email from 11/21) and explained the issue. Here is the response I got. Thank you for reaching out to GameStop, I am sorry that you are unable to use the gift card. After checking your trade card, I do see that the card doesn't have money in balance. Also, I do see that the time to file a claim already passed, you have ************************* purchase. If you have any other questions, please let us know. ****, ***** Hey! Listen! - Navi GameStop I just want the **** game I ordered (even if its old as heck and is not useable- I still want it sealed and brand new, or I want my money back for the game that GAMESTOP NEVER GAVE ME!!!!?

      Was sold a "random" deck of cards when what I was actually sold was overstock at full pre-sale price. It's not random if they use their web to sell their overstock "randomly" and then use in-store pricing to jack prices on specific items in demand it's deceptive and Shady asf.

      I ordered a racing wheel online for $299.99 for in store pickup but when I picked it up the price tag on the item was $229.99 when I reached out to the business I was told the price tag meant nothing. Why put a tag on it then!

      This company is a scam. They charge $50-100+ over MSRP for new sets of Magic the Gathering boxes. Meanwhile, traditional card stores sell at ****. For graded Magic the Gathering cards, these prices can be well over 1000% markup compared to the actual price. Do not cards from any location and also the online store.Also, when bringing this up to support, their response is that prices are carefully evaluated. Good business model, and great way to lose market share.

      Please avoid shopping with this company you are better off buying from a trusted store if possible. I had ordered two games Marvel alliance and ***************** as well as a controller for my son for his birthday for his new ******** switch. I received an email from GameStop stating the items where delivered and when opening the box I had the controller and receipt stating what was in the box but none of the games were there. I thought it was possible that another shipment for the games was in place but when calling customer service they claimed everything was delivered in the box but it wasnt. I have a ring camera so *** is able to be seen dropping off the box but as I mention only the controller was in the box. I have been in communication with GameStop for two weeks now they claim they are doing an investigation and I couldnt receive a refund for my items until they are able to watch dvr footage seeing if the items was never placed in the box. I am waiting for a refund over items I never received and I am extremely frustrated because I just want the games that were suppose to be in the box. They claim I could have received it and as many times as I pleaded my case explaining to the employees that I opened the box to just a controller they claim it takes 7 days just to create a ticket to be heard and than extra time to investigate which I ultimately know I will never be getting reimbursed for the items I didnt receive for my son. They are stealing peoples money over a mistakes their employees are making and their employees actions make us consumer suffer the consequences. They have hung up in my face, keep refusing to admit ownership, and constantly making me wait for a replacement. They have stolen 145 for me but I am asked ti be patient to even receive a replacement and there is no higher up to contact so something can be done. I wish I knew this place handled business and were crooks so I could of made a better decision when purchasing. ******* B

      I recently purchased an HDMI cable from a GameStop store. The staff member who assisted me was friendly and helpful, and assured me that I could return the cable if it did not meet my needs. However, when I attempted to return the cable approximately 30 minutes later, a different employee informed me that it could not be returned because the seal had been cut. I explained that I understood the store's policy on returning games, but that this was simply a standard HDMI cable. The employee refused to accept the return, stating that the store's policy is to not accept any item back once the box has been opened. When I asked how I was to know this policy, the employee pointed to a URL on the receipt. I did not see any clear signage in the store indicating this policy. While I understand that Massachusetts law does not require businesses to accept returns, it is required by state law for businesses to clearly communicate their return policies to customers. Additionally, I am disappointed that the staff member who assisted me with the purchase did not accurately inform me of the return policy. As a result of this experience, I will never shop at any GameStop again. Way to go - all over $25!

      Changed warranty on game console AFTER it was purchased. It's supposed to be replaced with NEW as I confirmed multiply times when buying. They replaced with used clearly used. I was told to contact CS only to be told to contact the store as it was an instore purchase. Not resolved waiting on district manager and CS to return phone call. Lost our business for good!

      Ive called them five times within the past four days about the same issue. They have not been on top of things as they stated. I will be contacting my attorney at this point.
